Nidz versus orks would be a great melee bloodbath--and also a fun rivalry to feature in a boarding patrol match

When the plasma pistol missed and the animation showed it going the exact opposite way and hitting a wall I died laughing

Absolutely love watching these! Boarding action's quickly becoming my favourite content - short enough I can finish them over lunch, using few enough models that it's really easy to keep track of the action, and the chemistry and tempo between players really shines.
For interesting future match-ups - I'd be really excited to see Blood Angels/Deathwing on Tyranids, on a particularly terrain-heavy board. I've always had fun with Space Hulk-type things, and I'd love to see how it plays out in Boarding Action.

Hi! Loved the video- iron warriors are my favorite chaos space marine chapter. Was curious how you kitbashed Ignis Ungala? I see that’s Abbadon’s legs/torso- but what head did you use and arms? Also did you just field him as a regular chaos lord or does he have his own stat block? Thanks!!!

GW has confirmed that boarding actions still work in 10th, whether or not they will continue to release more books for it thought is a different question
Thanks! Yes support is there in 10th. There are so many missions across the books it should be fun for a long while into 10th even without additional books. Would be nice to see it expand further though! Give me Tyranid walls and Dark Mechanicum ships though!

@@tabletoptactics True but then they released a statement saying that the game is really only balanced for playing game sizes of 1k, 2k and 3k.
@@grimpoorlighting201 that's because the core rules and stuff are different for the main game. They are designing combat patrol to be a 500 point game and boarding actions uses a different way of constructing your list and it's own list of strategems and enhancements. I of course haven't played with the 10e rules but I'd give it a few games before you count it out 😊

I would love for them to make a small narrative campaign with boarding actions to reveal the 13th company as they are getting finished piece by piece. I feel with the way the shoot these type of content it would be a great showcase of the new models.

hi, nice video. I have 1 question, models give cover benefits to other models?
Example - unit a/ shoot unit c/, but unit b/ is in the middle parcially. So , cover line passes parcially on unit b, from unit a/ to unit c/
Same question for your own models (shooting unit, models from row 2, obstructed parcially by models of row 1, same unit)

No only terrain provides Cover. All models block LoS though, even your own

Also Perterabo: *Goes and builds giant sand castle and challenges his arch enemy, little brother Rogal Dorn to attack said sand castle*
Dorn: *Sees his big brothers' challenge, and decides to accept. He goes in alone, because he wants to prove himself better than Purterabo, and does not respect his big brother as a worthy opponent*
Purterabo: *Has a moment of abnormal clarity and wonders why he just invited the people he just betrayed to attack him, but quickly dismisses this*
Dorn: *knows he's walking into a massive trap in this sand castle, but plays straight into it and wonders why he's losing*
Bobby G: *kicks sand castle over, ruining Purterabo and Dorn's fun*
Purterabo and Dorn: *collectively realize the massive amount of respect they have for each other, and decide to talk their differences out with a healthy discussion that ends in a brotherly hug*
Seriously, the petty rivalry between these two ridiculous factions is one of highlights of 40k lore

An idea I'd like to see for a boarding match would be Carcharodons vs Night Lords. Very appropriate since Carcharodons are a ship based faction that has a distinct history with the Night Lords.

Beard, would you do me the honour of explaining the mark of nurgle in laymen's terms. My buddy has read the rule differently to myself and we need a respected (chaotic...) mediator!!
Attacks against units with the Mark of Nurgle are -1 to Wound, but only if they are the same Str, or at least double, their T.
For example, a T5 unit attacked by Str1,2,3,4,6,7,8 or 9 gets zero benefit, but Str 5 and Str 10+ Attacks will be -1 to Wound
