Hare Krsna Prabhu!!! Thank you so very much for this. When Srimati Syamarani Jadurani speaks of re-joining Iskcon at the St. Louis, MO temple, I must say that I had the distinct pleasure of being there. This was during a time when Sura Prabhu was the temple president and Vaisesika was also there as Brahmacari, so it was a magical time to say the least. Also, Ramesvara Prabhu was our zonal Guru and would come often. I am so blessed to have been there, if I had only known then what I know now, I would've taken full advantage of the opportunity. However, due to Krsna's mercy I was there! I got to witness Srimati Syamarani Jadurani compose her paintings from start to finish, and I can even tell you who posed for what pictures. I always wondered what the background story was behind her accepting another Guru after Srila Prabhupada. I can't say I disagree with her in the least, given her experience.

I prefer these honest, truthful interviews, from being high on LSD & choosing to goto the temple & not knowing what a Temple was.... thats a very very inspiring true story. And i wish to experience this level of compassion that was given back then, in the now. I am willing to create that environment in Brighton, UK. If anyone wants to support a Yoga Centre safe place that is currently a vision in my mind.

To begin with I pay my respect to her. I have seen her twice in video clippings of early days. One walking with Srika Prabhupada and in another one she starts dancing with ecstasy (if i am not wrong).
In 2024 watching her. We are indebted atma like her who have devoted their youthful years for a ohilosophy and for a Guru. Pranam.

    PART TWO
I was recently hearing a beautiful lecture by Srila Prabhupada where he compared our thoughts, words, actions, talents and abilities to fire. Srila Prabhupada was mentioning that fire is neither good nor bad, it depends on how we use it. A controlled fire in a stove is good, whereas an uncontrolled fire in a forest is bad.
In other words, Srila Prabhupada was essentially saying, "Just as a controlled fire can help everyone, whereas an uncontrolled fire can't help anyone, so also those who control the fire of their thoughts, words and actions are friends to themselves and friends to others as well, whereas those who don't control the fire of their thoughts, words and actions are neither friends to themselves, what to speak of being friends to others.
Therefore, Aristotle once said: "It is plain then that the wicked man cannot be in the position of a friend even toward himself, because he has in himself nothing which can excite the sentiment of friendship. If, then, to be thus is exceedingly wretched, it is man's duty to flee from wickedness with all his might and strive to be good, because thus may he be friends with himself and may come to be a friend to another."
Indeed, in his lecture given on January 22, 1969 in Los Angeles (I'll include the link), Srila Prabhuada beautifully says:
"This fire is a force. Now you can utilize it for purpose of illumination or cooking, so many ways, but if you put the fire on your cloth, that is not utilization; that is misuse. You can put this fire on your cloth, and you can die. The fire can do that. But that is not the utilization of this fire. The real utilization of the fire, to take service from it for a good purpose. Similarly, everything is Krishna's force.......So when the forces are utilized properly, that is working in Krishna consciousness. Otherwise it will burn your clothes and put you into death. That's all. You must know how to utilize the force. Nirbandha-krsna-SAMBANDHE yukta-vairagyam UCYATE (Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu 1.2.255). The force can be controlled in collaboration of service to Krishna---then the force will be controlled. Otherwise the force will create disaster."
Indeed, according to all universal spiritual teachings, those who control the fire of their thoughts, words and actions through humility, appreciation, forgiveness and EDUCATION will progress toward their ELEVATION, whereas those who don't control the fire of their thoughts, words and actions through pride, envy, vengeance and SPECULATION will digress toward their DEGRADATION.
Therefore, in the Holy Bible (James 3.5-6), it is said: "The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body and sets the whole course of one's life on fire."
Similarly, consider the following words of wisdom regarding this subject matter as well:
"We can harness the energy of the winds, the seas and the sun. But the day man learns to harness the energy of love, that will be as important as the discovery of fire."
    (Paulo Coelho)
"Someday, after mastering winds, waves, tides and gravity, we shall harness the energy of love; and for the second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire."
    (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)
"Power either goes up or down. Your thoughts are the harness of power. It is necessary to think positive thoughts, not just wait for them to occur, but to introduce them."
    (Frederick Leng)
"You are the most powerful magnet in the universe. You contain a magnetic power within you that is more powerful than anything in this world, and this unfathomable magnetic power is emitted through your thoughts."
    (Rhonda Byrne)
"I don't care how much power, brilliance or energy you have, if you don't harness it and focus it on a specific target, and hold it there you're never going to accomplish as much as your ability warrants."
    (Zig Ziglar)
"Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great FORCE."
    (Irving Berlin)
"One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular."
    (Anthony Robbins)
"Why can't you harness MIGHT so that it works for RIGHT? I know it sounds nonsense, but, I mean, you can't just say there is no such thing. The MIGHT is there, in the bad half of people, and you can't neglect it, you can't cut it out but you might be able to direct it, if you see what I mean, so that it was useful instead of bad."
    (T.H. White)
"If we manage conflict constructively, we harness its energy for creativity and development."
    (Kenneth Kaye)
"The desire that guides me in all I do is the desire to harness the forces of nature to the service of mankind."
    (Nikola Tesla)
"You possess the ability to tap a bottomless well of physical and psychic energy. With it, you can harness the magical power of the universe. Yet most of us unknowingly block the flow of this power, and live out our lives not reaching the potential that we could achieve if we only knew how."
    (L.V. Carnie)
"Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside of them was superior to circumstance."
    (Bruce Barton)
"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."
    (Buddha)
"Anger is meant to be acted on. It is not meant to be acted out. Anger points the direction. We are meant to use anger as fuel to take the actions we need to move where our anger points us. With a little thought, we can usually translate the message that our anger is sending us."
    (Julia Cameron)
"Don't lose yourself to anger. It's gasoline. You can burn it as fuel, or you can use it to torch everything you are about and end up standing on a scorched battlefield, with everybody dead, even you--only your body doesn't have the good grace to quit breathing."
    (Karen Marie Moning)
"Anger is a fuel. You need fuel to launch a rocket. But if all you have is fuel without any complex internal mechanism directing it, you don't have a rocket. You have a bomb."
    (Stanley Bing)
"I have learned through bitter experience the one supreme lesson to conserve my anger, and as heat conserved is transmitted into energy, even so our anger controlled can be transmitted into a power that can move the world."
    (Mahatma Gandhi)
"Anger, as long as it is controlled anger, is no obstacle to efficiency. Self-control is one thing the sociopath does not usually possess. Use ours to his undoing."
    (Jeff Cooper)
"Anger is almost always an emotion for people who wish to control others while simultaneously falling to control themselves."
    (Daniel Pierce)
"If someone says bad things about us, we feel bad. If someone says good things about us, we feel good. The question is: Have we given our remote control to others?"
    (Unknown Author)
"When you leave the remote control of your happiness in the hands of others, be assured, they will keep changing channels as they like. You will lose your track and identity. Your happiness lies within you."
    (Mohanji)
"Your mind is your great friend if you control it, but your mind is your greatest enemy if it controls you."
    (Unknown Author)
"If you don't control your mind, someone else will."
    (John Allston)
"Control our own destiny or someone else will."
    (Jack Welch)
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace."
    (Jimi Hendrix)
As this Podcast was mentioning, this Pandemic or alleged Pandemic is preventing devotees from associating with others. I normally would go to Srimad-Bhagavatam class everyday, but since there is none where I live, I spend most of my time on social media sharing with others. And thank you to those who liked some of my previous comments in other videos.
I recently started a twitter so devotees with short attention spans (including myself) can stay inspired That's why I always prelude some sentence or paragraph with inspiration quotes. Here's the twitter and God bless.

    PART ONE
Thank you again Mother Jadurani for all your service. Hats off in gratitude to the early disciples of Srila Prabhupada who assisted him when very few people would. I would like to believe I would have assisted Srila Prabhupada in the early stages of ISKCON but that's probably my self-righteous false ego talking.
I"m sure Srila Prabhupada would tell his early disciples, including Mother Jadurani, the following quote spoken by Ulysses S. Grant:
"The friend in my adversity I shall ALWAYS CHERISH MOST. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity."
You gave an analogy of how different devotees open the wisdom of the Srimad-Bhagavatm and Srila Prabhupada's commentaries, of course, not that the Srimad-Bhagavatam and Srila Prabhupada's commentaries are incomplete, but that different devotees can expand on the Srimad-Bhagavatam and Srila Prabhupada's commentaries by sharing their realizations inspired of course, from Krishna. The reason I loved this point you made is because Srila Prabhupada makes the same exact point by even encouraging insects like myself and everyone who feels reluctant to share their realizations through writing. Indeed, according to Srila Prabhupada, various devotees realizations can assist others in their Krishna consciousness according to time, place and circumstance.
Indeed, in his commentary to the Srimad-Bhagavatam (1.4.1) Srila Prabhupada writes: "Personal realization does not mean that one should, out of vanity, attempt to show one's own learning by trying to surpass the previous acharya. He must have full confidence in the previous acharya, and at the same time he must realize the subject matter so nicely that he can present the matter for the particular circumstances in a suitable manner. The original purpose of the text must be maintained. No obscure meaning should be screwed out of it, yet it should be presented in an interesting manner for the understanding of the audience. This is called realization."
    vedabase.io/en/library/sb/1/4/1/
The reason I really appreciate this above mentioned purport by Srila Prabhupada is because unlike artwork, cooking, playing instruments etc., writing is probably the most criticized activity. Why? Because people may argue, "What need is there to write more books? Srila Prabhupada gave us everything." Although I would agree with this statement, but what about devotees who have the propensity to write. Just as Srila Prabhupada encouraged people in Krishna consciousness through their artwork, cooking and kirtan, so also he encouraged others to write about Krishna as well.

Hare Krishna with due respect s for her grace for the wonderful services she had rendered. But the point she made that going to Narayan Maharaj is also Iskcon is her understanding. Srila Prabhupada strictly instructed to keep respectful distance from his god brothers. Why she got her name changed from jadurani given by Srila Prabhupada to Shyamarani given by Narayan Maharaja that means re initiation when already Prabhupada a bonafide guru. Even when gadadhar pandit wanted to get the initiation mantra from Lord Caitanya He said that's a great offense.
There might have been challenges in Iskcon after Srila Prabhupada left. It's natural ideal thing would have been that after Prabhupada’s leaving their disciples should have taken shelter of the senior disciples of Srila Prabhupada and followed them. Maybe in one place we are not able to adjust we will go to another place but in iskcon only not search for somewhere else.

Blaming the Radhakund Babajis for the "Gopibhav club" is downright dishonest of Shyamarani ji! The members of the club had never even met any of those Babajis nor read any of their books which were untranslated as yet into English. The Gopibhav clubs were undoubtedly inspired by Narayana Maharaj's teachings which were being clandestinely disseminated in those days through books and tapes. Narayana Maharaja was also definitely involved in giving bad advice to the "eleven naked emperors" and encouraging them to think of themselves as Acharyas. The Narayana Maharaj Sangha is a highly problematic movement with lots of fallen sanyasis and scandals of their own. Also they are extremely aparadhik and blasphemy of other groups is endemic there. Moreover a cultish mentality pervades the Narayana Maharaja sangha and they go so far as to label their guru as "Yugacharya". After the passing of their leader, many Narayana Maharaj disciples are now thankfully getting free of that cult mindset and leaving the Sangha but many others unfortunately remain mired in it. I would recommend everyone to read Eleven Naked emperors by Henry Doktorski to get a well researched and highly documented account of what transpired in those troubled years.
