Not sure what the KV-2 acted like 3 years ago or if it has been patched, but it would've been interesting if all of your KV-2s popped the "hunker down" ability to work on the mid point. If I'm not mistaking, it almost doubles the range. Possible to keep the KV-2 slightly backed up, still reaching the point, and beating off enemy tanks with SU's and T-34s. KV-2 is quite a beast when in that mode.
Hopefully you guys re-visit this strat some time, pretty cool match this was. Gg :)

@Skippy, if you want set a forward HQ, you need let your infantry enter the target building then using your commander skill to set up this building as your forward HQ.

The missed demo charge opportunity at 25:00 hurts. I literally yelled at my phone “HIT THE DEMO” and then he casually scrolled away from it.
I typically require more than 1 squad to justify detonating. That’s why I didn’t do it.

@@tylercasey6323 It probably would've killed the squad, but the tank damage would've been minimal / low impact. If we were pushing at the same time I would've definitely hit it then.

I like KV-1 tank. Expecialy with their hull down ability. It can soak up a lot of damage and its good tank to lead a frontal assault and then hull down in some place to make a new base there for your allies

Good game Skippy - question though, why do you guys always cede the bottom two fuels on this map? Two fuels definitely gave them the advantage to rebuild all their Panthers and Tigers.
Haha, good question. It’s becoming a theme, isn’t it? It’s usually due to simply losing the fuel and this is the last resort. I’ve lost so many quick games on this map due to contesting the fuel over and over and never gaining the VPs. My new idea was to avoid that (if it’s taking too long) and to just try and hold off the tanks long enough to win by points. It’s worked more often than not, or at lease gives us a chance, so I’m going to keep that rotation happening until it proves fruitless.
and previously KV-2 had 220 armor penetration so it can literally duel 1vs1 king tiger and have chance to win, now they sligtly rework it for more anti infantry role but still it's a great war machine
Kv 2 in real life is pure bullshit can even fire at moving targets...
This game its arcade for a reason but whats the point spending 700 mp and 250 fuel to have a KT thats gets penned in the front by a su 85..... They cant even pen the front of a panther in real life.

Hello Skippy, I started playing COH2 about 2 weeks ago, and I learnt a lot of commanders a bit, and I want to ask, how can I get KV-2 commander, and if It's from Drop, whats the chance of getting it?
Play lots of match to earn supply, use supply to buy commander. Or just use real money.

Edit: Also, distance is 100 meters, in most likely case, the shell is going to be in perpendicular contact with the sloped armor, making it more potent, while in the game, there is no such thing as 100 m range.
@@bilguunsuvargakhairkhan5533 It have concreate piercing AP shell. KV 2 carry some of them also 152mm HE can crack open any armor by breaking its weld seams.
KV-2 is too weak. I used it and it can't even destroy Panzer IV

Those axis players are so bad lol, would love to see how you guys fair against a real threat.
Good game, but these axis players were brain-dead... you simply cannot face su's straight up, the vast area of this map allows for nice flanking manoeuvres, especially for panthers etc. Also no 10'5er, No Paks 43, no Ele or JT. What can you expect ^^

Jagdtiger or Elephant would have been a hard counter and win them the game, the allies had no fast medium tanks capable of flanking them, they only had heavy tanks and medium tank destroyers, both get hard-countered by heavy tank destroyers like those two. Still, most of them played decently, they just made a poor choice of commanders, but still, building a ton of Panthers and flanking would have been a very smart choice, since the KTs didn't do much anyways, and both the KV-2 and SU-85 can't do much against Panthers if they get flanked.

I enjoy rewatching this content but i find your lack of awareness to be quite disturbing, floating near 1000+ muni yet telling allies to place mines while your own engineers aren't doing much
Encouraging teammates to plant mines is probably the most aware advice I could be giving...
