whenever i choose elephant over tiger ace, damn thing keeps getting stuck to the map and gets killed now that i think about it, thats what probably happened in the actual war.
skippy if you do a red bull express you should do the encirclemt commender that can stuka point and then close the gap get to people with that commender and save ammo its really OP
Not that it takes effort, lol. It's basically a mobile pak 43 that you can just mindlessly move up and delete vehicles with; Virtually no thought or micro necessary.

I hate how in CoH the proportions or tanks are not followed. The Tiger, Elephant tanks for example are in reality WAY fucking bigger than what the game makes it seem like.
being able to build bunkers is huge, not to mention the bunker can also heal and reinforce....the soviet is so hard to use, you have to go all the way back to base to heal, it doesn't make sense.
Miss the good old days when you could have 4elephants per player not this weird heavy tank cap stuff.... Gone are the days when you could have an average 3h 4v4 now its a very rare 1h game and average 20m to 30m.
I do not understand, normally on a 4v4 match you need at least one 105mm and a command panther for flares i say you win for the allies do not have artillery
So between jahtiger and elefant, which is more usefull ...... Jagtiger may not have the optics but can be used with fusiliers which is same thing and it can actually work as an arty and fire shot that is unblockable......to me it looks just plain better to use a jag, of course i could be wrong
@The Nuczako No they did not. The Kursk offensive was breaken off by the Germans. But Germans killed many times more Tanks and men than Soviets. 700- 1200 German tanks and assault guns lost vs 6000 Soviet tanks and assault guns lost.
@The Nuczako You are confusing the overall situation (Germany, a 60 mio. people country had to fight basically alone against the rest of the world with only a few, often weak allies) with one battle. Nobody in his right mind would call a loss of 6000 tanks vs 1000 a "victory", let alone 100.000 men dead, wounded, captured or missing on the German side vs. 800.000 dead, wounded, captured or missing on the Soviet side. If that is a "victory" for you, you should probably get your head checked

In that sense it can be seen as a not successful offensive, but I still wouldn't call it a victory for the Soviets considering the losses thy suffered. Oh, and it was Manstein who wanted to go on with the offensive, not Guderian.

And much more people of course. The offensive of Kursk mid 1943 was a last attempt to gain the initiative back. And it failed due to the circumstances already mentioned, plus other Soviet offensives going on at the same time on other fronts (some even claim that was the main reason for abandoning Citadell). But taken on its own I have my problems calling a battle where I lost 5x more in men and material a victory. I know of course, as said before, that the Soviets had no problem in losing so much men and material, when men and material are virtually available infinitely. Manstein on the other hand thought a success in breaking through the Soviet lines would have been possible if they pushed a little more. But even then it is highly questionable this would have changed any odds of the war as a whole. You can't fight three super powers, one of them (USA) the economic powerhouse No. 1, supporting one of your other main enemies (SU) with 100s of miliions of tons of material. And you have only Italy, Finland and Japane as your allies (Hungary, Romania too small to be counted). You may have the best army and war machines, but you won't last very long. Indeed holding out 6 years against basically the whole world (includes Canadians, Australians etc.) was a miracle almost.

Jaeger Armor seems to out-perform Fortified Armor a lot. Although commander PzIV is good, Panzer smoke is great, but the scope and dive bomb have much more impact to the game. (Halftrack AT mine and hulldown are just as trash as they are)
