Ive noticed in my games even when your fire is blocked like that squads still get suppressed so I don't think it makes a difference?

can someone explain to me how skippy managed to get both the kt and st tiger? when i play, and i call in 1, the other gets lock and i get 'limited to 1 heavy tank on the battlefield' pls advice thanksss
Recent patch made this possible, they changed it for this commander specifically.
im surprised the other teams didn't instantly rage quite when you rolled up with not only a KING TIGER but a STURMTIGER! I think skippy summarised my reaction best 13:50

This might have been a different game had that one guy not rage quit around 20 mins in.
Great game. Lots of things that could have been done differently, but when you're in the heat of battle, I think it's fine to make some mistakes here and there. Props to the enemy team tho who remained, chill heads helped their decision making.
I think your teammates threw hard. Feeding exp with weak tanks, teal player didn't know how use tanks.. kept facing their bums to the enemy.
That was pretty frustrating to watch

Your teammate (Yellow)....He's good at nothing but is good at helping opponent taking down his panther.He needs to be replaced

Hi! I was the yellow teammate! I'm still learning but I'm normally not this bad (trust me, on the Osttruppen video I lost up to 400 guys!) Thank you for the criticism though, I'm trying to get better at axis! I mainly play allies!
I can make a sherman in 10 minutes without any commanders and ally suppory 😂 But this one is awesome tiger in 11 minutes
Just a bit of constructive criticism (obv. I'm not under pressure): you were building volksgrenadiers at 3k manpower. Either obersoldaten or sturmpio spam would probably have been better.
Or any sort of AT. By that point his only AT was the KT and a shreck he'd picked up!
You should really use that Spearhead ability on the KT- it gives a substantial buff to the turret traverse and view range and as long as you don't let anyone behind the tank it'll work wonders in a slugfest like that! Plus it's a great tool to get vision for a Sturmtiger or Panther. Great game to watch though lol, stressful as hell
imagine the opponents' despair to see a KT that early.
why did you stuka bomb bottom though. There was a pile of infantry going there on the mini map.
I requested the top multiple times. For some reason a teammate thought bottom was the choice, it wasn’t. 😭

I think finjakke is talking about 12:00~18:00 because at that time there is no barrier to stop KT forward to ally's base
True, I could’ve been more aggressive then, but didn’t want to get cocky. Only takes a couple AT hits and a snare for things to go south quickly. Didn’t have much infantry support then.
Besides, I love that it turned into that slugfest anyway. I’m not concerned with winning ASAP. If it’s a tournament or something, different story.
Anyway I am still Excited to your other matches

I’d much rather have a Brumbar over a Sturm tiger, too expensive, pretty micro intensive, and sluggish
The only redeemable feature of a Sturm is it's shock effect on vehicles which might save your tanks or anyone around a hit

and didnt use the HEAT shell that much that make KT killing medium in 2 shots
with elite armor KT is a beast to beckon with..
Can you tell me, why you can call in a ST and a KT at the same time? I cant do this cause it says that there can be only one super heavy tank in field

Around forty minutes, I was wondering why the two (or was it three?) players that could decap with stuka bombs weren't mercilessly dropping those. I thought that's what yellow was going to do when he said "trust me"; helluva game to watch though - it's not every round that gets down to less than five on both sides!

I was playing a 1v1 with my friend, got a KT at around 15 min mark, simply build no vehicle and try to stop my friends soviet infantry blob. After the KT rolled out, it was steam rolling. High resources is great.
Interesting to see, very fast time with the Tiger II. Perhaps shifting OKW player 2 to Ostheer so he could get an Elefant and complement the Tiger II?

That loss could not be more deserved, you played waywaywaywayway to careful and defensive. You had the lager mobile force but yet you were more put than the enemy with a large part of stationary weapons. I the end it would have been very helpful if you just resent new Volksgrenadiere and let the oder ones die. Since you had 2k manpower and in that way you will have full squads on the Front faster.

Was really good game but i am agrree with those comments. I thought the same about agrression. BUT during the game, sometimes it hard to see those details, too much adrenaline etc. While we watch, we are able to see. Cmon....
There are no perfect game and i am sure after this game skippy will remember how this tactic didnt work out :)
But one smoke barrage would be great while you had cap to cover and protect the middle.

No heavy artillery from both teams was kind of surprising. Especially on this map it can win the game.

i would say skippy if you are sweating and on the edge of your seat, it would be a win whether you win or lose in the end you still end up coming on top.
that was hands down the most hard battle i've ever seen in a game. you got very very close, ebst game ever. This shows how hard it is when both teams know how to move their tanks. Hard core match

I struggle getting medium tanks in under 15 minutes. You get a superheavy in almost 10 minutes.
I went from shocked seeing a KT at 11min to shocked seeing Skippy losing the game in the end...
Im new to OKW, any idea why, after building all four HQ's and selecting a doctrine, I never see the option to call in a King Tiger? I cant work out what Im doing wrong! :(
Did you sub tech the 3rd truck? You have to tech it after it sets up.

Okw needs to have deployed all 3 bases and upgraded battlegruppe and schwerer hq, after that you are able to call in the kt

Questionable decision, thought I could catch another thing off guard after killing IS-2.
In my opinion wasted potential on King tiger. King Tiger +HEAT ammo ability+tank commander upgrade(not machine gun)+Veteran 3 ability "Spike" active+repair ability instead of withdrawing to base and those churchils, su-76, and Jackson are done. (You would basicly get Elephant but tougher and able to wreck infantry).
I used heat shells often. The thing had 84 kills. Don’t think it was wasted potential. Could’ve been riskier, but higher chance of losing.
Only takes 1 T-34 Ram for it to all be over.

I still don't get it, why is he able to request a Königstiger? Clearly the tree doesn't provide it from default, the icon just pops out @9:43 in the skilltree bar
It's basically just a special perk that OKW has in any skill tree
Once you build all three tech buildings it unlocks for all okw commanders
