@@eunit08 yea, or they can make it so not all your Pikmin land directly on the enemy, if you have too many Pikmin some should scatter around the enemy and be vulnerable to immediate follow-up attacks, instead of needing to shake them off first.
@@DivineBanana they would have to rework the enemies. Cuz you can keep them locked currently. They shake off the pikmin, you toss enough before they attack and they go back to tossing them off. @@Balverine that's interesting. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and I'm happy I played through it... But it mostly just made me wanna go back to Pikmin 1 and 2 which I still think is a good feeling to have!
Pikmin 3 Bulbear is underrated with how threatening it is to not lose Pikmin to it, especially in challenges or side story where the only way to kill it effectively is the eye ball trick which is harder on them
Thankfully in story mode they only appear in one spot but said spot is the absolute worst place to find one A small space where there's very little escape options
No joke during a Playthrougth of mine in Pikmin 2 during the Bulbear encounter on Glutton’ Kitchen the Bulbear was able to climb up the mini house on one of the sublevels and almost eat all my Pikmin
On an ecological perspective it makes sense if its territorial range overlaps with the Red Bulborb, the Bulbear being diurnal and the Bulborb being nocturnal reduces competition with the two species over food and territory.
I agree these things are a menace i remember these things make me reset 71818191912 time, especially that one cave (in a pikmin mod) where there are a army of (adult) bulbears💀💀💀
I think of people finding the Wally wog for the first time in Pikmin 2 thing just spawns out of nowhere in the middle of a dungeon at least I think that's what its name was
Cathartic in 4. The fact of a charging companion and Rock and Purple pikmin squad😈😈. *GET UP AGAIN, POLKA DOT SWINE.* nothing that full force rocks to the skull can't fix.
Which is why i came up with the jumbo bulbear with bulblax health, the ability to eat your whole squad in 10 bites, comes back from the dead, and propagates 50 pikmin if you didn't ice them
While there is truth to this, this is also incorrect. Bulbears didn't just have more health. Bulborbs/Bulbears had 1 key difference in Pikmin 1 that made them as frustrating as they were. Invincibility frames. This didn't necessarily make them *hard* but your timing and precision mattered greatly, because if you were off on your timing to kill them, or didn't have enough Pikmin, you were almost guaranteed to lose part of your squad. Even large squads ran the risk of losing Pikmin. Sheargrubs/Shearwigs has this issue as well, and likewise had to have more precision to kill them before they could make their mark. Pikmin 2 *did* introduce them roaming around, which in turn required the player to have more keen map awareness, but with the introduction to spicy/bitter sprays and Purple Pikmin, most every enemy was a pushover as they could effectively be stun-locked, so long as you were prepared adequately.
As much as I fear Bulbears who are extremely scary and come back to life, I was kinda upset they didn't come back to life in 4, like ik it's being aimed at a younger audience now, but like dang...feel like they removed so much challenge due to that (it's a lot of other things too, not just the Bulbears obviously, plus Oatchi makes the game a lot easier if you use him well enough, but I digress)
Something I actually noticed is that the Pikmin 1 Bulbear is actually pretty big compared to 2 onward. Kinda makes sense cause imagine seeing a beast that huge just chase you
I’ll never forget my first visit to Glutton Kitchen only to have a Blubear spawn 2 feet from my base on sublevel 4 for that was the day my hatred for them began
Rip to all the pikmin you lost that day
Relatable that's true lost a quarter of my Pikmin.

That animation of the bulbear falling into the vat of monster energy is hilarious
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that spinning bulbear falling into the vat of endless monster, very nice animation
The bit where the bulbear fell into the pool is hilarious. Please keep doing things like this.
Dog i swear this is the most Trouble i have had with a enemy in pikmim
I feel like all enemies are less scary in Pikmin 4 because an oachi charge with all your Pikmin basically 1 shots everything lol
They should nerf the charge where you are less guaranteed a one shot if the monster is actively attacking you

The bulbears are now on my most hated pikmin enemies
Erm, It's right behind me, isn't it
Jeez i still have nightmares about bulbears there scarier than the water wraith imo.
Pikmin 2 bulbears are some of the only enemies that make me go "yep definitely time for a bitter spray"
the part with the Bulbear falling into the vat of monster energy got me🤣
My eyes literally widened and I got a shot of adrenaline when I saw the bulbear in the first frame.

SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK
as a cat who fell into a pool of monster energy, i havent slept for 2 years
Did the pikmin just celebrate when the bulbear came back to life?
Pikmin 3-4 Bulbear: ☺️
Pikmin 1-2 Bulbear: 💀
I still have trauma from bulbears from pikmin 2
I want to make a joke about Diddy but I don’t think it’ll get up
Bulbear couldn’t bear it
Someone needs to give the bulbears each a chapstick of their own
Glutton Kitchen bulbear was an actual menace. Many brave soldiers died that day.
I fear Bulbears. A lot of my pikmin die.
Shoutout to that one P2 challenge mode level where you’re in a room with *three of them at once*
Having a bad bulbear spawn in a random pikmin 2 lvl is the absolute worst.
I wish they kept where the Bulboub mechanic of it reviving it self. It would be scary but more of a challenge having to bring it back
i love your stupid lil goober characters.. they have my heart
I miss the intimidating red eyes they had
bulbears are among my most hated pikmin 2 enemies- and they just look dopey in 3 & 4
i love ur channel so much

Boy I remember when I first saw my first bulbear in pikmin 2 I screamed and left the perplexing pool and never went back
You have to like the touch of her middle saying am in danger as the bulbear goes to eat them
Pikmin 4 bulbears have no sense of object permanence. Just walk a couple feet away and they forget you're there
Ok but did you know that you can play Daisy in Super Daisy Sisters Wonder?
This Bulborb is gonna make exploring more harder
I can't tell you how un-BEAR-able they are.

Tip on how to easily defeat Bulbears in Pikmin 2: use bitter spray
"Come at you all over"
William Afton type vibes
i love that they doint sleep cause i like having something to be weary about in pikmin much lick suberged castl
i like feeling scared in these games
“Come At You All Over”

"Come AT you all over."

Bulbears actually do stay dead in Pikmin 3 and 4
It's a shame, I'd say being able to stop being dead made them way more fun in my opinion

one time in pikmin 2 i was away from base and lost 56 pikmin
It’s a pain even in the 3rd and 4th games…
The reason they don't because they have monster erengy drink as blood and thier organs coffee beans
my boi
You should make a video on all the dwarf bulborbs
But is daisy playable?
The can revive?!
Just use bitter spray. Only viable choice. Also since when do adult bulbear spawn in perplexing pool, I thought just dwarfs did
Cat Olmar :0
That is Satan that is not bulbear
Just got home from work and I can get it done and then I will see if it works out I will see you in the batmobile lost it done with you to do anything
Wait what do you mean by “act the same” do they regain their souls in 3 and 4
Do you have a guide anywhere for GameCube model swapping?
They don’t revive in pikmin 3/4
Is that pikmin 1 and 2 at 60 fps ??
You sound cute uwu
I have a question do they come back to life in Pikmin 2 or just Pikmin 1
Smash, next
the gag with the pool of monster energy and the 3d bulbear falling into it is what makes this for me
Something I actually noticed is that the Pikmin 1 Bulbear is actually pretty big compared to 2 onward.
