Just came across your video. Enjoyable to see those half sovereigns. I like to handle coins as well. I love the history associated with the dates and monarchs. Nice collection.
Beautiful coins top video. iv just started dont now anything about sovereigns but trying to learn few week back I picked up my first coin up at my coin shop Edward V 1915 s half sovereign didn't notice the little s above the date just looking at your video has help me solve the letter on the coin could be collectable thanks .
Very interesting video buddy. I liked your show and tell of the coins and the interesting factoid that the coin is still worth half a weeks wages. I'm probably going to pick one up tomorrow, just to add to the stack. I'm subbing you on both my channels. I've got a gold channel myself but it's been "dormant" for six months while I worked on other things. But I'm still buying gold tho. I've got some videos lined up aswell so looking forward to getting stuck into that. Good video mate, all the best.
Sir,nice video. I have 1893 half sovereign. My dada gave me this about 35/40 years back. Please tell me what is the numismatic value of the coin. Thanks
Nice looking at your halfsovereigns. A private solder in the trenches earned a shilling a day. So they got seven shillings a week. With overtime in the trenches they would get about ten shillings, a half sovereign.
Stacker 2020 I love that they were real money, people had these in their pockets back then when you worked for a week you got paid something that was of Intrinsic worth.
They are a good place to start as they have more province than other fractional gold coins. If you can pick up older historic for bullion you can't go wrong and they look nicer then the new sovereigns as they have no silver in the alloy making them look a brown/red colour.

Nice coins, as a bloody German, I am now also into Sovereigns. Just bought the 2020 double and a random as a start.
Good place to start mate!
I just got my first quarter sovereign and I was shocked how small it was 😮 my next big is a half I think. I mainly stack silver

Hi, I have a half sov, it's a 1911 and there is a S over the first 9 in the date, is it anything special, I have been looking with no luck for info
10 half sovs is awesome. I have some full sovs but no halves yet. I will follow in your footsteps
As of today i have a couple half sovereigns to show soon. I have now followed in your footsteps
i like half sovs too they are just about in my price range and have small premiums here
hi Dave, will you ever do a stack reveal..... another great video btw
Thanks for watching, I do these just for a bit of fun.
I have one of them Sydney coin in the year of 1906. Do you buy?
Very nice indeed. Gold is going mental at the moment my investments are doing very well!
Coin Collector those krugerrand will do very nice!
@@golddiggerdave Indeed!!
where did you buy these mate
Got these years back .
My first gold was 5g goldbar second was 1/10 gold eagle type 1 and then half soverign 1911 and now i just stack soveriegns
Those coins are really made with gold? Nowadays what was the cost to each coin.
Please let me know
Couldn't agree more about the older gold, it just seems to have a lustre too, modern bullion is just too shiny and doesn't seem to hold as much detail
AG Smith totally agree, the detail on modern bullion is way off.
hi mate would you recommend half sovs for a first time young buyer of bullion? maybe to just get a foot in the door for collecting? Cheers

Dont ask Thanks I’ve just had it graded at PCGS and I’ve had a stunning result, the video of that will be up in the next few days.
Why do modern bullion coins have that rose/brown colour?
They have more copper, they don't look very nice compared to the older sovereigns which have more silver.
I do have this coin, would you like to buy it?
Yeah gold is mad...but will it continue to rise to £2500 or will it collapse to £500 ...no idea, but it is exciting...lol
Great coins btw...👍
Always good to see you, It's crazy times I'm half wishing if it does go south I'd just buy a truck load more.

I have gold Georges v 1919 Anybody interested to buy
Awful video quality to start with,, however i did recognise that little plastic bag with the purple logo.
Soveregns gold coins are fake gold, try weighing the coin to know, look at the tail of the coin to know the gold is fake.
