When they finally fold the cards and bring the original Star Wars Expended Universe back, I like to see Mara Jade again as she is everything that Ray is not, such as being interesting and more fun than her and also giving Luke Skywalker a wife and a son to have and be completely different from Obi Wan Kenobi as it shows the Jedi embracing the positive emotions and still keeping the negative emotions out as it shows the New Jedi Order learning most of the mistakes made by their predecessor. I actually like Mara Jade so much more which is why I will never understand why they didn’t use her instead of creating Ray as it would have made things better in the long run of things.
Mara Jade was a great non-canon character. I think it's such a shame Disney made her "non-canon", and she is hated by Star Wars creator George Lucas. I would love to see Mara Jade get canonized again with Karen Gillan in the role.

So, in summation, you have no problem that a teenager is an experienced warrior and killer with routine experience of leading men in battle but you have a problem with somebody sleeping with her. I'll never understand the selective morality of people like you
