Am I the only one who is loving the fact that Evan is making versus series movies now?
In a way yes and in a way no. It's definitely entertaining and a good watch but I worry if the videos are going to get longer and longer overtime and take up more time to get done. That said I'm at least glad Evans still doing vs videos.

1. Have you considered bringing more obscure characters into the versus series like Spy Master Tholme, Set Harth or some of Jerec’s Dark Jedi followers?
2. If you were to put yourself in the Star Wars universe as a Force adept, how would you conduct yourself in a versus match and which characters do you see yourself winning against?
3. Do you want to buy some Deathsticks?
After having read the Darth Bane trilogy, I think Set Harth would be an interesting character to use in a Star Wars Versus video.
Agreed, Tholme has been featured only once, by Jensaarai. I'd love to see more of him. Why not put him against either Luminara Unduli or Rahm Kota, also skilled strategists ?
I'd love to see Sariss being featured too. From what I gathered, her lightsaber skills are roughly similar to AoTC Anakin, including her choice of Shien, and her focus on Deadly Sights and Mind Shard above TK makes her twice more interesting.
Set Harth could be pitched against either Xanatos or Komari Vosa.
@@yrooxrksvi7142 Set Harth vs Xanatos sounds interesting, since they’re both formidable Dark Jedi (the difference is that one left the Jedi Order due to the death of a family member while the other left due to the lure of dark side artifacts). Also both Set and Xanatos were aggressive and capable swordsmen, with Set being a confirmed Form IV specialist while Xanatos’ style is heavily implied because of his tutelage under Qui-Gon Jinn

So Cade learned the 1 power that Anakin Skywalker lacked to quote unquote save Padme’s life
with such advanced medical technology plus Anakin and Padme' prestige, having extra help when birthing twin is not a fucking hard thing for Padme, even if surgery is forced. But Anakin's knowledge related to sex education seems...too limited. Even grooming is a big damn thing for a man. And in the emergency surgery, i think Anakin involuntarily used something and drain Padme of her life energy.

@brianjordan3841 yes. He literally does it in Issue 1 legacy. He got mad and did it because his father a d master were getting jumped by Krayt and his goons. Kraft mortally wound Cades master and Kol is killed on the planet. Cade gets pissed and goes on a death mission. Leaves the order

Luke 9/10. Krayt makes him work for it though.
Which Revan? This could either be a narrow victory for Dooku or a stomp for Revan.
If ROTS era Sidious, Krayt 5.5-6/10. ROTJ and Dark Empire Palpatine take a majority but it's still a challenge for him.
Corran 7-8/10. His expert level Tutaminis and Force illusions make this fight a nightmare for Starkiller.
Depends on the Revan.
Kun 7/10. Dooku's a tough opponent and can possibly take this in a straight duel but has no real answer to Sith sorcery or amulet blasts.
Kyp 6/10, but this one is real interesting. Mace is the (marginally) stronger duelist, but Kyp is a Force demigod almost on par with Luke and Caedus.
This one is a tough call for me, I'd favor Valkorian 6/10 unless the sabers come out, in which case this is Sidious' fight.
Another interesting fight. I'd favor ROTS Anakin 7/10 on the back of his physical feats, Form V expertise and Force magnitude but Arcann is no pushover.
Hmmm... assuming both at their primes, *probably* Jaden 6/10 but it's close.
Ben 8/10 against Padawan Kenobi, but 6/10 against Padawan Anakin.

@@alsimmonshellspawn6021 Dooku is comparable as a swordsman though and his Force abilities aren't that far below Kun's. It's more that Kun's specific Force edges are extremely hax instead of having a massive power differential between the two.

1. What made you shift your opinions on Caedus’ “cheaters win” over Mara?
2. If Mara had shown force stun against a trained force user would that have changed the outcome in any way?
3. In the future, what opponents would you put both Mara Jade and Cade Skywalker up against respectively in the future?
4. I don’t think it’s fair to extrapolate feats from a duel with a force ghost. For example how do you know Luke put any actual effort when he was basically a force God in that battle? How can you substantiate the idea that Cade’s dream feats are at all relevant to his real life feats?
This is actually the second time Evan featured Mara. Last time was half a decade ago though.

Probably not, as technology doesn’t tend to evolve that fast within Star Wars.
Don't be too sure, a lot of tech has gotten quite stagnant over the years in star wars. Sometimes more impressive/ advanced technology is seen farther back in the timeline than forward even
Really worth the wait, easily the best video of this season. Glad to see both of this characters in the VS Series since there are very few videos depicting both Jedi and hope to see more of both on futures video

Sorry I’m so late with my review, there were unexpected delays to my viewing experience. But man was this worth the wait, the video covered both characters practically completely and held both in an unbiased regard while easily explaining why one character would have the edge in certain areas. Brilliantly done good sir. As for my question I would ask how would you tier rank the NJO and Legacy Jedi as a whole in terms of power?
Masterful video, i now feel like i have a more developed view on the two chacrters' capabilities, especially Cade, the dynamic between the two fighters was engaging and the ending for the matchup was awesome!

Thank you so much for the content you produce. With all the lackluster projects Disney has been producing, you and the rest of the council’s content have kept the love of the old EU alive and it’s because of it that I was able to get into the far more interesting and engaging Legends continuity.

One of (in my opinion) underrated pieces of Legends continuity was Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron. While by no means perfect and definitely one of the more “interesting” stories in Legends, but I really appreciate what it was able to do story wise (particularly the DS version). My question is what are your thoughts on the characters X1 and X2 and is there enough information to do a “How Powerful Was” episode on them? (I know I already asked this question in one of your community posts, but I’m just really curious to hear your thoughts on the characters due to their ties with the NJO, assuming you’ve played it of course).

When you talked briefly about the origin of humans in Star Wars and how it was a mystery, it reminded me of my favorite theory on the very subject. That being that the celestials long ago used their incredible power to go to our galaxy, went to ancient Earth and took some ancient human ancestors and placed them on worlds in the Star Wars galaxy, thus leading to a humanity existing in the Star Wars galaxy and our galaxy, but their common origin lost to time and no contact made between them due to the great distances between the two galaxies. It goes along with the idea that Star Wars is mean't to exist in our own universe, but "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away".

1) Since you've been featuring Skywalkers prominently in recent videos, have you ever considered doing a video ranking each force sensitive Skywalker in Legends (essentially anyone directly related to Luke or Leia) by power, similar to your rankings of Jedi Battlemasters and Grandmasters a few years ago?
2) Do you think Kerra Holt from the Knight Errant series has enough sources to be used in a Versus Video and if so, who are some of the characters that could be considered for her to be pitted against?
3) Has it ever been mentioned where Mara Jade was during the events of Dark Empire?

3) Mara was dealing with Imperial forces on her own and she went to Dromund Kaas to rescue Kyle Katarn, who had fallen to the Dark Side. Just look up Jedi Knight : Mysteries of the Sith.
4) Disney happened. Antoine and Matt (GreyJedi91) lost their passion and are doing their own things these days, dunno about Reti, though.
I second number one, that would be really interesting, obviously GM Luke would be at the top but Jacen, Jaina and Cade, as well as Leia and Ben would make an interesting tier debate.

Ferus Olin vs Jaden Korr
Ferus preferably at the end of the Last of the Jedi series or Rebel Force. I’ve never seen him used in a Verus match, and I think he would be really fun to explore. He was stated to be the padawan with the second most potential behind Anakin, held his own and was arguably winning for a time against Vader, and Sidious contemplated replacing Vader with Ferus at one time.
Jaden was also stated to be one of the most promising students of his generation at Luke’s academy and overall would be a good match I feel.
I just really really want to see Ferus in a verus video, there are tons of good opponents for him
(a few other ideas being Bultar Swan, Jerec, or Adi-Gallia)
Revan is a very popular character. Maybe bring him in again? Maybe compare him to another jedi who has fallen to the dark side and later redeemed - Vader.

For a potential future matchup, how about Jaden Korr vs Lord Vindican? I feel like Jaden would win but Vindican can definitely put up enough of a fight to keep up due to how well balanced and consistent they both are. Would be a better matchup than Savage vs Jaden imo.

Evan, great video, very well researched and thought out. Excellent presentation. I must agree any combat that lasted more than the briefest of minutes would end up with Cade slaying Mara Jade. However, I believe if they both "got to the fight at the same time" so to speak, Mara Jade would kill Cade before he knew what kind of fight he was in. My opinion only, loved the video, thank-you.

Addressing your third question, my 3 weapons aside from a lightsaber would be a Beskad, a cortosis-weave vibroblade and a standard blaster pistol. In this way, I could be an effective close and long-ranged combatant
Been waiting for this match, and the intro already rocked my kicks off. Both Mara and Cade were long due for a new appearance. Makes me think how Mara would fare against Galen Marek.

Yet another great video! It’s amazing to see how far you’ve come in your skills since your early days! I only remembered it was a 2.5hr video when you finished the video.
I question I have though is do you consider Dark Transfer to be the most broken ability in the Star Wars setting? It seems massively overpowered and I’ve never read the legacy comics so I only know about it based in what I’ve heard from you. It just seems to make Cade and Krayt fights lopsided in their favour to an extent unless they come across someone substantially more powerful than them (which makes using Krayt after his resurrection seem pointless as there are probably 5 people who could even dream of overpowering him)

Shado Vao is probably a Tier 3, a high tier Knight and a Niman specialist.

A question for your next Q&A video:
Could Nomi Sunrider defeat Darth Sion? Yes, I'm fully aware that any good lightsaber blows Sunrider could inflict would not matter to Sion, because he has taken COUNTLESS truly mortal blows over his career. But, I'm not talking a conventional type of fight, lightsaber, or Force-Involvement. I'm wondering if Nomi Sunrider could use a specific ability that could defeat Sion, without having to convince him to simply die on his own accord, that ability being: Wall of Light/Sever Force? Think it through, Sion could survive frankly any battle he is put in, simply because nothing could truly kill him, unless he chose to die. Even the sheer power of Darth Nilius himself could not kill him. But, that was only because of his strong connection to The Dark Side of The Force keeping him barely alive through all that fighting. If Nomi (Or, any Jedi who could single-handedly cut someone off from the force permanently, like Nomi did) could take his connection to The Force away, similar to how she did it to Ulic-Qel Droma, could that finally kill Sion, no matter how hard he focuses on his anger, and pain to keep going at that point?
Can’t wait till we’re 50 and movies with these characters come out!
Small Q&A Question:
Technically, this is unrelated to the match itself, but are you going to do a review of the Kenobi series? I'm sure you have a lot to say about his portrayal as a broken man, along with the fights involved. Yes, I know Jensaarai did one recently, but the series was incomplete at the time and I would love to hear what you thought of the final duel.

Well, thought I'd prop up a possible match up, whether it be for this or another season, but do you think that Darth Talon vs Darth Maul would be worth exploring?
Whether it be his TPM or TCW incarnation, I still think the two have a very similar martial arts background (backing a single style on martial arts training and Niman) and I think that Talon's Force variety would be relatively matched by Maul's partial physical superiority.

As much as I like SW Theory, I don't think Evan is going to do a collaboration with him. It's that SW theory and other youtubers have no experience whatsoever in the Versus community. TH-camrs like SethTheProgrammer and Death Battle do shoddy versus matchups without ever explaining one's ability and how they would handle the other combatant in a fight simply by saying one would win over the other. Unfortunately, Evan and the others in the versus community are in the minority, who put their passion into these matchups and isn't as recognized as Seth, who half ass his videos and creates terrible versus matchups.

Bravo good sir as always u do not disappoint a bit lengthy like about 2 hours but 2 hours worth listening to I’m a little curious though since the New Jedi Order (NJO) came after Sidious’s demise I wonder how well Luke’s fellow Jedi (Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, Kyp Durron, Corran Horn, Jadon Korr, Jaina Solo Fell, Jacen Solo (pre Caedus of course) n anybody else u can think of would fare against the emperor himself could they do as well against him or would they just b prolonging the inevitable also I have to get this off my chest y did she have to die she was such a great character 😭
What I'm about to say is propably going to be controversial, but bear with me.
At the end of Dark Empire, Luke defeated Sidious. While there's some contention about whether Luke has been amped by Leia or not, it doesn't really matter. A year later, Luke himself has stated to be more powerful than *ever* before, which would logically include his allegedly amped DE incarnation:

And we know that Luke's growth didn't stopped there. Some more quotes:

Anyone who can even remotely challenge Grand Master Luke Skywalker should be able to beat Sidious with not much difficulty. Which would certainly include the likes of Jade, Katarn, and Durron. It's honestly insane how much Sidious, far all his hype, is buried under scalling.
