Coco is just 19 so last couple of year's since she turned pro it was like being an apprentice. It was important and a great move employing a new coach and somebody that is not family. Appointing the experienced Brad Gilbert was paramount to escalating her to the next level. It worked quickly as she's won a few tournaments this year including the us open.
As they say clearly Brad Gilbert is the consultant, the job was done by Pere Riba and Jarmere the sparring with small details from Brad.Coco had forehand issues that were worked accordingly from the team.
I wouldn’t say it was unthinkable for anyone that’s been paying attention since BG came onboard. Coco’s looked like an entirely different player while utilizing the tools she already has. Just needed a coach that could get her to breakthrough
Nothing happened before the right time by the grace of God leaning to his will,knowledge and wisdom placing the right people in place to help guide her along the journey paid off with many more blessings to come

She only won her US Open matches because the crowd made it so for each round. Sabalenka would have won, was on her way to winning before the crowd stepped in. Sabalenka has been good in many long rallies and this match lasted well over 2 hours . Sabalenka cant last many of those so yah i was predicting gauff to win this one. Sabalenka has alot of power, gauff has power but has all speed is what won her the match. Gauff still has alot to improve on so if she can win this and still has not reach her full potential yet well look out coco will take over

Sabalenka, who is world #1, is a much stronger, well-rounded player than Coco, as is Laura Siegemund, Karolína Muchová and Jelena Ostapenko, who all also suffered from crowd abuse. She is a manufactured champion, and everyone knows it, including her!

if u think about it, in prior years even with that terrible forehand, on big tournaments she was stopped mostly by Swiatek and doped Halep.
