How did you know you wanted to teach math? I’m currently a senior in high school and I know I want to teach high school but I am unsure what I want to teach.
I honestly just kinda picked it because I was good at it and it made sense to me. I also knew that they always are short on math and science teachers so I thought it would be the best way to get a job!
I do- I am only 22 and the Bay Area is wayyyy too expensive to move out right now! Don't want to be paying $2000+ for rent on a one bedroom-haha! And I HOPE!! That is the goal!

I'm so glad I found your channel. I will be starting my journey to become teacher in August. I was getting nervous because there is so many negative youtube videos of teaching that encourage to quit teaching or to not pursue a teaching career but you do the opposite. Your videos are so positive and it helps with people that are starting their teaching career. I also love how organized you are.
I very rarely subscribe to new people, but I subscribed before I even finished this video. You are so chill and funny. I am a Kindergarten teacher so HS is a whole different world to me. lol. Very interesting though.
