Thank you for this! I'm finishing up my student teaching semester right now and interviewing at a school next week. It's looking pretty likely I'll be taking over once they come back from Christmas break if I get this job, so seeing your videos (especially this one) have been a huge help!

Thanks for this video 💙 I love planners and handlettering as well 🥰 Your planners are nice 😀 My fav still remains the big happy planners "teacher edition" though. I make the big happy planners really thin by changing the discs (I use mini metal discs instead) and I only put the current month, the checklist part and some other pages to take notes 😉 I use one divider for each section (so 3 dividers). This way my big happy planner "teacher edition" is as thin as the JSTORY ones and the main advantage with the disc system is that you can add or remove pages 😁 If you have the Mambi 11 hole punch, you can buy (the price is really cheap) on Etsy website monthly and weekly undated pages (so you can print them each year. These are pdf files) made for big happy planners 😍

I'm glad you have a system that seems to be working for you! I'm curious on your thoughts on digital calendars. I'm not a teacher (currently considering career-changing into it, though!) and have religiously been using Google Calendar for my day-to-day life for a few years and love it just because it's so fast and moving/erasing isn't an issue compared to a physical one. Are there certain scenarios as a teacher where your physical calendar would be more helpful than digital, or is it just a matter of preference? Keep up the great content! :)

Hello! Yes I still use my Google Calendar on my phone, but I think I just prefer to use a physical calendar as well because I like to doodle and draw! I also know many teachers that use all digital and it works well! It is all just personal preference :)

Hey thank you for sharing this. I am interning and have watched several videos. Your 'how to' totally made sense. Can you explain how you use the note app to teach with? Are you just opening up the app in both places with them synched, so it is showing you writing in real time on the other computer? I would like to do something like this with my class, but don't have all the tech.

Yes! Basically, I log onto my Google Meet on my computer and on my iPad. I turn off the mic and camera on my iPad and just use it to share my screen!
