@@lonestargrillz I will echo that sentiment. My pellet grill should be delivered within the month I suspect, been in fabrication for a few weeks. Chris, I have my eye on that charcoal grill you have and I wish there were more videos on that. You have a few but would love to see some more recent ones
I cooked a full breakfast to break my “Plancha” in. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. Delicious! The Plancha is a fantastic accessory to the pellet grill. Truly extends the range of the tool. Looking forward to seeing the charcoal attachment in action. Get ready to take my money again! Love the LSG stuff.
@@lonestargrillz Chris, be sure and speak to the temperatures you can achieve with the Charcoal attachment and any concerns on doing so. I did not purchase that because I was afraid of messing up the paint. Heard some of this, but probably user error
@@lonestargrillz Ohhh that's a tough one. Steaks and burgers are always good over direct heat. What about Fajitas. That way you show meat and vegetables?
I'm looking forward to the charcoal video as well. I have the accessory but have not used it yet. Been waiting on tips and recommendations. Maybe reverse sear some steaks so we can see low and slow but also some high heat? Thanks for the videos, love my LSG pellet grill!
Chris, do you like to have the deflector plate off or on? The website says either, through your experience which works better? Pros and cons? Thank you for any info
Feel like the griddle should have been hotter. And really crank down in those burgers 🍔 when you smash them. Also waiting on my 24 x 48...come on Chris!!
Yes, I was thinking the griddle should be a little hotter as well. I wonder how hot it can get and I wonder what the surface temperature of the left side can get to.
I would think scrape when hot with flat tool to get any crusty stuff off. Then wipe down. Then, lightly oil it again to protect the metal from rust and to build a coat on it like you do with cast iron. Man, I'd love to get one of these LSG pellets.
Those are some anemic smash burgers. You didn’t get a good seer on any of it. I need to watch more videos on how to do smash burgers. Google foods is an awesome version of smash burgers, and those are way too thick to really be smash burgers try not putting any olive oil on the pan before you put the burger on that’s why you use fatty your burgers. It’s got plenty of fat to lube itself up. It should kind of stick to the pan on your first press, and then you kind of scrape it off and get a good caramelization. Good crust that’s where the flavor comes from!
yeah, its just because it was too much meat. Have to use less than 1/4 pound each to really smash them thin. Im sure they are great but not sure about crispy but its still the best grill.
It’s really nice to see you demonstrating your products! Thanks for publishing these videos.
❤️🔥🥩
My pleasure 😊

@@davidcook7847 Are you referring to the Adjustable grill?
@@lonestargrillz yes.
@@davidcook7847 I will keep that in mind in the future.
Chris, next time try putting some parchment or waxed paper between burgers and press. No stick.
.. Was about to say same thing, small piece of parchment between burger and press
Thanks for the tip.
Yes. And you get a better sear because the burger stays put and you don't get pockets of steam between meat and flat top.
Awesome. LSG pellet Grills are absolutely the best.
Thanks

Charcoal grate and the grill grates is what I would like to see next. Trying to decide which one to get.

Is there a built in version of the pellet grill? I see it listed on the site but I can’t find a video or picture of it
The best way to do burgers by far! American burgers on an American grill! Nice!!
You got that right!
What a great idea.
Thank you! 😊
Going too try that I love my grill and want too say thanks again

I’m ready to upgrade from my POS pit boss.
Looks amazing.
It was!
Chris, why are they called smash burgers? Is it just because you flattened them when they were on the grill?
Correct
it’s lookin yummy
The onions are what makes this burger.
How do you setup the pellet feed in manual mode?
Scroll down to manual mode lonestargrillz.com/pages/pellet-smoker-instructions
You can do it inside the app on your phone. Touch where it says mode, then select manual, ten program the % feed you want. Great feature.
@@gavins3169 Thanks for the info! The Fireboard controller takes this pellet grill to a whole new level.

Fully agree!
those are hardly smashed lol

Thats right 1/4 pound will flatten thinner and yield crisper edges but wont stay as juicy as it does slightly thicker.
@@lonestargrillz Very good looking burgers however those are not smash burgers my brother.
Here in new Zealand 🇳🇿 we brown the inside of buns on the criddle
We do also sometimes, honestly I wanted to on these but I was running out of daylight to finish
