Josh I got to tell ya, I just watched you and Dan’s podcast as I’m tying in a nose button and it’s got to be the best podcast I’ve listened to. Not too much into podcast but you guys had me not only hooked but in tears about your dad and your life growing up to where you are today. Just so you know I’m in Grayling Mi and you guys have changed my archery life big time!!! You’ve thought me how to work on my own bow and become a better archer. I’ve been bow hunting since the 70s and use to have to drive 60 miles round trip just to get my peep twisted. Now I have my own equipment to confidently work on my own bow. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Great info on all the videos you post. Just a little info on the TAC shoot for the truck, 111 yards, must be inside out on the center 12 ring, and you will be shooting at the caribou.
love the content and thanks for the time you put into helping people out. How about doing a best bang for your buck video on arrow/bradhead setup for the poor average guy? Seems like there has to be some quality setups that will ethically do the job up to 60 yards yards or so and is affordable.
Video idea: molding a grip to correct torque. I tried every grip adjustments I found on here and I was still torquing to the left. Finally found a tradition guy put molding on the grip with alert to right angle facing the archer holding the bow. Finally corrected my torque. Your spin on it would be great. I haven’t totally finished so I can still make changes
Video idea: Take apart your Scott sigma and figure out a way to make it quieter. See if you can Josh Jones something to make it quieter. I bought one (honestly, because you said you shoot it and I usually just go with what you suggest 👍.) but I don't like how loud it is. Awesome release. Don't regret the purchase. Just would like it quieter for hunting if possible. And ld probably like someone with the experience and resources to do it first, rather than take mine apart and wreck it.

I have been trying to paper tune my bow all day trying to set it up for hunting’s I have the Mathews v3x with Mathews ultra rest and have the rest so far right I’m going to run out of adjustment with my sight. I started with a right tear and it’s only got to a little better
I have one and thought at the time that it was expensive!😂 I’m an arrow building geek and between firenock’s ASD and the RAM spine tool I don’t see a need for this crazy expensive tool.

I shoot a 29 inch arrow at 75 pounds so it's almost impossible for me to build an arrow that's 15 perfect FOC that's under 500 grains. Do you have any suggestions to get my arrow weight down without sacrificing FOC?
500 grains is fine! I was messing around with my 30 inch arrow and was at 609 grains. Lightest setup I got with the best FOC is X-Impact 545 grains 19% FOC. That’s with a lighted nock. 250 spine 9.5 gpi and the 300 is 8.1. Pretty sure X-impact is the lightest micro gpi arrow.

our local archery club had one of these back in the 1980's, used it to straighten aluminum arrows then.

Lighten up the REAR of the ARROW as MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

The Victory rip tko 250 spine at 9 gpi will get you there, just play with your insert/collar and broadhead weight
The rip xv at 8 gpi could get you around 450gr while being at 15% foc but would lose shaft durability over the rip tko
