can you make a video about explaining the ecu/electronics part. All the e46 functions will be fully functional? like all the cluster data, ac, and so on?
BMW's literally start leaking oil at birth :) That nervous feeling mixed with excitement is 2nd to none. Had that when I rebuild my S62. Great video! congrats!
Hey Yevs, I just randomly stumbled across this video and wanted to say congratulations!!! It's been 5 months since you posted this video - have you driven it on the road yet? I have an S85 E46 M3 in the UK and honestly, it's one of the best driving experiences money can buy, shy of a GT3. I love that you have a standalone and kinda wish mine did. Mine is running on the stock M5 ecu and somehow the car has been wired up to think that it's an M5 with a manual transmission. The fuel pump is a fixed 6bar set up, unlike the stock set up where it has it's own little module that controls fuel pressure etc. Anyway, I just wanted to show some love and say congratulations. I'm looking forward to seeing you post a video of when you drive it in anger etc :)
Haha appreciate you a ton! No it's not on the road yet. To be honest, ever since we fired it up for the first time, I forgot about the car because I started focusing on finishing up my M5 touring project. After thats done, I'm diving head first back into the V10 M3 project.
@@YEVSBUILDS What a guy - I used to be like you a little while back. I'm too old now. I used to have an E60 M5 touring that was manual-swapped and eventually imported to Australia....I wonder if you've seen it around or heard of it. Keep up the great work man. There are not many true OGs left in the car game.
i didnt fin any information about my question, maybe you can ! Is it possible to do that on a 330 facelift or completley not ? because i see nobody doing that on something else than an M3 e46 !
Oh boy, too much bro. It's a financial money pit but it'll all be worth it. I bought a clean title M3 that was parted out before I got my hands on pretty much the shell (not eve a rolling shell). Check out my instagram @yevsbuilds and you'll see the photos of the car when I got it. All I'll tell you is that I'm well over 40k into this build so far...
Make sure to like / share / subscribe! You know the drill🤘🏻🤘🏻

Yeah possibly! I'm not repairing the oil leaks and what have ya, and diagnosing the throttle pedal issue. Good idea actually.

is this possible with a non m chasis (04 325ci), seriously considering the swap this is the only question holding me back
Sound like money, until five years 😂
With how much money was dumped into the engine, I expect it to last much longer than that hahaha
How much did this project cost you so far? did u buy a total m3 or just an e46 and modded it?
