Thanks for the vids and hard work producing them….I own a lot of Tops blades, love the consistent quality. Your videos keep improving, appreciate it! I’ve found I don’t tune in to others videos if they use words like “ultimate” and “tactical” in their channel names or in subject headlines….Keep up the great work!

Thanks...so many great TOPS models...I tend to like the smoother handles rather than the heavy tread patterns...this one really caught my attention...glad I checked it out. I'm at around 830 videos published at this point...it's been a ton of work but having a blast the whole way. Thanks for watching!

I like it, but it would definitely be better if it had a 90-degree portion on it for ferro rod, a Worksharp grinder can fix that as well as the corner of the heel of the blade.
And if the butt were wider (perhaps 1/2 inch) it would be more useful for actual hammering.

I’d love to see this in a 5160 or 52100.
Or a stainless version would be a great addition to my camping jon boat.

Got this one almost 2 years ago. Wanted a hatchet for my get-home bag. I didn't want one with a wooden handle, that can break at the worst time possible. Also wanting something with a longer cutting edge than most traditional hatchets. Which should be more suitable to be used as weapon, if necessary.

It's a great axe. Have you used yours much? I gotta get mine out soon...maybe this weekend!

@outerlimitless Sorry about the belated reply, but here it goes. Mine now has a deer hunting story attached to it. I went hunting up in Michigan with two of my younger cousins. One of them shot, but unfortunately, did not cleanly kill the deer. It was down but not dead. Insert the youngest of my two cousins. Armed with my Ucon Hawk, he had his brother(the other cousin) distract the deer while he crept up and cleaved the deer in the back of the neck. With hardly no effort, it sunk the head of the hatchet in three quarters of the way, thus severing spine and lights out. It was quite entertaining to see their reaction to how sharp this thing is, as I keep it stropped razor sharp with leather. The only regret I have now, I didn't think to go back into the woods with them and video this escapade.
*the deer had gone onto private land, where we then got permission to go retrieve the deer. This was the reason we opted for finishing off the deer with the hatchet instead of discharging a rifle out of respect for the landowner.
The best $256.75 I've ever spent with BladeHQ
Also, here a few weeks ago I took advantage of a sale on Discount Cutlery. I bought the newer and larger Tops High Impact axe. This I bought to keep in my pickup truck.
Speaking of dogs. While re-watching this I had to shush my sisters dog twice. Outside yapping at my brother's dog for attention.😂🐶

I wish they would make it from 3/4 inch thick stock. Even 1/2 inch.

3/4 would be crazy thick!! I can only imaging how heavy that would be!

Very cool big fan of tomahawks small light sharp choppy I’d love to get a good look at the mountain man S7 steel headed tomahawk. There are only 2 short poorly made videos on them just seems like a great deal $150 for a head made of S7 steel with a hickory handle from a company that makes ridiculously priced high grade kitchen blades. Big fan of the slip on head over hickory handles very sexy. Not as tough as a full steel tomahawk but lighter and at least for me has an old school look I love.
