    Jamie felt hurt that his daughter would not forgive him, but Jamie loved her even though he only met her after 20 years.

    Poor Jamie,the only mistake in that scene was the disinformation by keeping a secret,he's a very good father indeed!!

      Yeah but he said bad things to Brianna and acted in a really rude way with Roger, even if he wasn’t Stephen Bonnet, the person who must’ve kill his rapist had to be Brianna, not his father.
      I only enjoy he understand his mistakes and try to fix the things with the letter and Claire is a lovely mother before to be a devoted wife

    2:40 the way his eyes watered, is not like he was forcing to cry, but trying to hold the tears. Sam is such a great actor, and Cat follows, cause she's fenomenal too

    Breaks my heart when Brianna send his father to hell but I know that she loves Jamie so much! But Jamie loves Bree so much and the only thing that he did was protecting his daughter, Claire Saw that Jamie has hurt and comes to next to him, yes Claire should told Jamie Steven Bonnet was the attacker but don't forget that Brianna asked her mom to keep a secret! Great performance as always by Caitriona and Sam ❤️❤️❤️

      Claire was selfish in keeping this information. Too afraid of betraying the trust of her daughter. Always making the wrong decisions. In this case, she should have told him..always thinking she knows best....some things never change..

      @@irisgomez5089 I don't think that it's true! She was not perfect, Brianna asked her not to tell her father that was bonnet! It's not fare people blame Claire! Blame Bonnet he was the one that raped Bri and robbed Claire and Jamie! Claire apologize to him

    What about Lizzy?? She was the one who sent Jamie after Roger.. no one points to her

    Poor Jaime never catches a break. His values of honour and protecting his daughters virtue are antiquated for an adult Brianna who came back in time from the 1960s.

      Exacto, todos a veces olvidan que Jamie es un hombre del siglo XVIII, y que se esfuerza siempre por entenderlos a todos, pero no siempre es bien retribuido. 😔

    In this scene Jamie would have felt reached, having been told previously to go to hell by Brianna for beating Roger, Jamie doe’s have a fiery temper, but he was unaware of the circumstances that lead to that terrible mistaken identity, and he was kept in the dark by Claire albeit for the right reasons! Lizzie was inadvertently to blame for assuming Roger was the attacker, Jamie only did what any father would do! the Fatal mistake was misinformation! So yes, Jamie would think he was a bad father, but nothing could be farther from the truth because he Adored Brianna long before he ever met her! I must add, Phenomenal Acting by Jamie/Sam and all concerned with that episode! thank you 🙏 for sharing 👌

    That scene really irritates me. Claire, after keeping a big secret that was the cause of Roger being sold to the Mohawk, tells Jamie she might keep secrets from him
    again if their daughter wants that. It’s like Claire did not learn a thing from what happened to Roger, and Claire is not a stupid woman. Book Claire was certainly wiser than tv Claire, here.

      I think when it comes to sexual assault, it's no one else's place to reveal their secret. It betrays the victim's trust, even when it is family.

    • @muddywitch9016
      @muddywitch9016 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@4321Silence Well, look how well that turned out? Instead of Roger and Brianna having the opportunity to go back to the 20th century while she was still in the early stages of pregnancy, instead Brianna was stuck the 18th century. Without her mother, (and doctor,) and in the company of strangers with inferior medical care for her pregnancy and delivery. That could have put both the lives of mother and baby at risk. Claire should have found a way to be the bridge to bring father and daughter together, instead she decided to act as her daughters friend before being her mother.

    I can say with ease Jamie is a good father. I know from experience as I wish my idiot of a so called dad was like him. Jamie has values and loves and cares deeply for those around him. But dose not take to those that hurt him or his loved ones. All things my so called dad lacks. But thankfully the other men in my life have.
