Max is an incredible actor. I started watching parenthood to keep my girlfriend happy and ended up being one of my favorites. His ability to stay true to character reminds me of dicaprio.

Kind of like Leonardo DiCaprio in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." He played a character who was mentally retarded and it was the first movie I ever saw Leonardo DiCaprio in and I really thought that was him in real life. These actors truly have a gift learning about certain conditions and being that character with the condition. I wish more films or series had actors playing these kinds of roles. It really helps people understand. Living with high functioning Autism in a neurotypical world is tough.
