Man you Australian folk sure know how to set up a rig! Absolutely awesome! Would love to see some of these parts available in the states
trays and canopies from MITs are available in the states
Straya
Hey thanks for the compliment Sir, but you good Americans have the better trucks, Ram, Ford, Chev heavy duty trucks, cheers from Australia🇺🇸🇭🇲🤝
Looks awesome! How close to GVM is this setup?
Very
Amazing build guys! Love the updates, just making the EVO2 even better! After living our of ours for the last 8 months we can confirm there's no better way to tour! May have to take advantage of some of the updated options for our set up 🤙
Looks mint, great work Mits team!
This beast looks great.
Mega build and looks great 🤩🧡
Great setup and very inspiring! Just wish mits would change their tail lights. Also curious why you didn’t take advantage of the wider track width to build a wider tray?
They probably need to get rid of old stock that was designed for toyota
As a manufacturer, producing different product lines adds complexity when considering production efficiency, and this size sits nicely with the vehicle profile width wise. Most feedback we have recieved has been positive for the way it sits closer to the vehicles outline. As for tail lights, watch this space!
@@mitsalloy look forward to see the new tail lights
@@mitsalloy nothing wrong with the old lights, i’d much rather them
Hope the v6 model will be available here in the 🇵🇭, very envious
So no GVM upgrade? what did the weight come back at as pictured in this video? curious as going to set mine up
What’s the kerb weight and GVM?
Price as it sits ?
Looks great, how much does the canopy weigh, not including the rtt and awning
Looks fantastic, do you keep the Blind spot monitoring feature ? and do you have central locking for the canopy and tool boxes ?
Watch around 3.50
Looks great. Are they able to be built any lower on the chassis . THe floor is very high if using as a work set up
The height is set to maintain appropriate clearances for vehicle articulation and roof profile
@@mitsalloy Is it possible to build a canopy without the tray as it seems to lift the floor of the canopy about 6 inches. edit; chassis mount.
how much on that set up?
how much for that complete canopy build minis the solar and the tent?
Absolutely perfect. Awesome rig. How much for the turn key package? 130k?
I think about 150-160k as is, rear end would be worth 60k easy
@@1989cranston Maybe ask the manufacturer the price instead of what someone "thinks"
Pimped out
How does she drive with the BP51’s and 600kg leaves?
How do you keep within axle limits with this
I'd say the most important question is:
Does the new Ranger fit 35s?
With a grinder, anything will!
Looked at one at the Maitland Caravan Show just lately and asked if they were working on a easer way to remove the spare tyre as it's mounted pretty high on the tray especially for us older fellas , as the weight is pretty heavy
Do you have a rear winch?
Providing you aren't going to a tyre size that doesn't fit underneath the tray, you can retain the under slung spare as our trays don't interfere with anything below the chassis line.
@@mitsalloy YEAH Right. Old mate who can't lift the spare is going to crawl under the car and lift the tyre cuntward. My rear winch idea is better. Hook it up and raise and lower the spare, you may as well run him over.
How much is this set up
How did you manage your adaptive cruise control sensor in front?
Hi Alex, thanks for your comment. Please give us a call to discuss in more detail
Is it true with prolonged exposure to water crossings and corrugations the electric steering rack fails and a new genuine ford ranger electronic steering rack costs 8 to 10 grand if you can find one ?
Most likely true, but the auto will have shat itself long before then
@@jowly1462 I live up the Cape and the tow trucks always seam to have rangers on the beds. Not sure if it's because they are the most popular sold vehicles or that they are only really designed for the bitumen.
Parts & installation more expensive than a ranger I guess?
What would yoi pay for something like this
Hi Kai, please fill out our online quote form for accurate pricing
$160k haha wow
npot a bad way to spend $120k
I will give you $120,000 for that today . in cash .
Anychance you good measure the height from ground level to top of canopy at the rear please
Let me check it. Thanks
Luv it, but not sure about ,fresh water a few inches under diesel filler
I noticed that, not a fan either.
An upright fridge is "upright" in name only, because
everything in it will end up NOT "upright."
With some clever packing, you can prevent most things from falling over. With that said, we have seen and heard some horror stories!
As an owner of a tray and canopy by another very well known manufacturer, there's no doubt that MITS are pulling out in front in terms of the form and functionality of their canopies.
Thanks for the positive feedback, we appreciate it!

This build is epic 🤘🤘🤘🤘
My Oh My Oh My!!!!!!!!!!
Is this for sale yet?
Looks good. How much GVM is left to fill with gear, food, water etc?
25kg
What about the sensors that are built in the OEM tail lights?
These are the ones we have relocated as mentioned in the video
@@mitsalloy Looks like to get damage in that location?
SIck 🤟🤟
Is having 6 lights on the roof legal? I thought you can only have 4 front facing lights
$190,000 later...
Supply high clearance ?
The quality looks awesome 👏
Looks awesome.
Three questions:
1 - how much does it weigh?
2 - total cost to build ? and
3 - is a long range fuel tank installed?
Please give us a call to discuss in more detail or email info@mitsalloy.com.au
PURE FROTH
You better bring this to the next eps of 4wd 24/7! Head to head with their own dmax 💪🏻
Keep an eye out in the new year!
Incredible!
