    I just did a Toyota that someone did a brake job on.. The damn bolts were missing that hold the calipers on. The only thing holding the calipers on was the rim....And the rim had some big grooves in them...I think they forgot to tighten the bolts...

      @stever5887 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well...If you want the tool, you should be willing to look up a number to insure he brings the one you need. If he gets the wrong one, you may have to wait another week (or longer) for it. You can find it in the paper catalogue or look it up online; that will take all of five minutes. In other words, meet the guy halfway; he'll appreciate the effort and you'll get what you need.

    I can relate to some of what you were saying about the sockets missing in sets. I don`t know about you but I could never leave a socket out of a set I always had to fill it in . It didn`t matter if I never used it it had to be there. As for the nine mm I can`t remember ever using one, but I must have because I got one. That hydraulic flaring kit is great . I would sure like to get one of those carbide scrapers. Thanks for the video.

    That Matco hose removal and installer set Mr. Bill bought looks like there are striking caps on the end. Y'all must have a booger of a time removing them hoses on those "Large Cars". I bought the two-piece hose pick set from my local Snap-on Rep. a while back, now I see Cornwell has their own two-piece set. The Cornwell version are pert near a spittin' image of Snap-on's except for different style and colored handles.

  • @heavydsunlimitedservice5741
    @heavydsunlimitedservice5741 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The reason why snap on skips 16mil is because it's the same size as 5/8". And obviously 19mil is a 3/4". So yes, snap on wants you to buy the sae set aswell

    • @KoonTrucking
      @KoonTrucking  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I understand it’s the same size but if that’s the case they could leave out the 14mm and the 10mm and just use sae for those also ? It’s just annoying to have the plastic blow molded cases in your box and have to buy the 16mm separate and it has to ride on top between the 15mm and the 17mm looks kinda stupid if you ask me.

      🤷‍♂️ if your matco guy can’t then I’m betting he can’t. That’s one thing about Matco the case doesn’t have a warranty like snap on or blue point. With them when the case or latch breaks you can get a new one

    You better buy all the ball style extensions while you can before they all come with them junk hog rings that wear out after 2 uses
    Idk about that flash thing. Because are you paying for each car you gotta do? If so dealers charge 150hr so then you gotta charge more to make anything. And if you have a poor connection it will fail at programming. Cool idea but i would never buy something like that

      I flash them myself only issue is I have to have multiple laptops because different memory criteria required for programming and different java versions needed like BMW ista and istap require over a hundred gb of free space to run I use drew tech cardaq it's expandable as techs changes you can buy add-on unit to keep going rather than by a new pass through device for example new Chrysler products use a 3 Rd can line now

    Mention that for his toolbox giveaway should be a bill related entry. Like every $100, for example, you get an entry to win the box or cart, obviously less if it's a service cart but it's what my tool dealers do for their big things like that. Thanks for the video!

    • @KoonTrucking
      @KoonTrucking  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep just like 14 is 9/16 and several other metrics convert. Everyone wants to say “we’ll snap on does that so you can use the sae sets” well if that’s the case why put the 10, 13, 14, 16 or 19 in there ? They all interchange with sae ?
