- www.vladtv.com - Many people have saw early photos of Dr. Dre rocking a shiny suit during his World Class Wreckin' Cru days, and founder Alonzo "Lonzo" Williams spoke exclusively to VladTV about the story behind the eye catching outfit.
The pioneer DJ explained that all of the members of the group picked out their own outfits, including Dre, who chose a shiny red suit that glimmered in the light. Williams told VladTV that they went down to Melrose to pick out the clothes, and he adds that he "didn't put a gun to [Dre's] head" when it came to the bold ensemble.

I think the main point about Dre & the shiny suit thing is the fact that Dre seems like he wants people to forget about that part of his music history. Eazy-E’s diss tracks brought that up, and how Dre switched from shiny suites to wearing locs, khakis, & other hard core gangster gear afterwards
