Em muitos contextos, os professores de inglês tem sido encarados historicamente como a “Cinderela” da profissão docente. Em alguns casos, eles foram obrigados a investir mais em suas suas qualificações, como resultado do fato de as autoridades educativas terem apelado para se “profissionalizar o setor”. Essa palestra irá explorar as causas de tais percepções, o que significa ser um professor profissional de Inglês, e a adequação da necessidade de qualificações de formação inicial internacional para a educação de professores profissionais.

In many contexts English Language Teachers have been perceived historically as the ‘Cinderella’ of the teaching profession. In some cases they have been required to ‘top up’ their qualifications, as a result of education authorities making calls to ‘professionalise the sector’. This talk will explore the causes of such perceptions, what it means to be a professional teacher of English, and the fitness of purpose of international initial training qualifications for educating professional practitioners.

Thank u silvana for yur professional talk about professional teaching.The problem is that u endowed the teacher wirh so many requirements until you missed the affective factors.learners have to feel in security under the shelter of the teacher.The other factor is consistency of the academic knowledge a teacher has ro deliver.whatever your professionalism but if yur learners have a negative attitude towards u .
