- In this video, things are a bit different. We begin with the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X, landing gracefully at Morro da Urca Helipad. With the famous Christ The Redeemer in the background. Then, we go onboard a small flight to our familiar helipad at Lagoa.
This light helicopter, powered by a Safran Arrius 2R engine, demonstrates its agility and precision. With a top speed of 125 knots (232 km/h) and a range of 306 nautical miles (567 km), it’s perfect for scenic and efficient flights.
Next, the Airbus H125 showcases its high-performance capabilities. This single-engine helicopter, powered by a Safran Arriel 2D, lands smoothly, demonstrating its ability to operate in diverse conditions. Known for its high-altitude performance, it reaches 155 knots (287 km/h) with a range of 340 nautical miles (630 km).
Following the H125, the Bell 206 Jet Ranger lands, it has a reputation as a versatile and reliable helicopter. Powered by an Allison 250-C20J engine, it achieves a top speed of 120 knots (222 km/h) and offers a range of 374 nautical miles (693 km), making it ideal for light transport and aerial tours.
The Bell 429 comes next, landing with precision and showcasing its advanced capabilities. With twin Pratt & Whitney PW207D1 engines, it supports a max takeoff weight of 3,402 kg (7,500 lbs), achieves 155 knots (287 km/h), and offers a range of 412 nautical miles (763 km). Its spacious cabin and retractable wheeled landing gear make it a standout choice for VIP transport and medical missions.
Then, the Bell 407. This versatile helicopter, powered by a Rolls-Royce 250-C47B engine, delivers smooth performance with a top speed of 133 knots (246 km/h) and a range of 337 nautical miles (625 km). Its reliability and adaptability make it a favorite for various missions.
The Robinson R44 Raven II lands next, with its lightweight design and cost-effectiveness. Powered by a Lycoming IO-540 engine, it reaches a top speed of 130 knots (240 km/h) and has a range of 300 nautical miles (560 km), making it ideal for flight training and aerial photography.
As the sun sets, the elegant Agusta A109 lands, casting a striking silhouette in the dusk. This twin-engine helicopter, powered by Pratt & Whitney PW207C engines, achieves a top speed of 156 knots (290 km/h) with a range of 432 nautical miles (800 km). Its sleek design and luxurious cabin make it a preferred choice for VIP and executive transport.
Under the cover of night, the advanced Airbus H160 makes its approach. With two Safran Arrano engines, it has a max takeoff weight of 6,050 kg (13,338 lbs), reaches a top speed of 161 knots (298 km/h), and offers a range of 475 nautical miles (880 km). Its futuristic design and quiet performance set it apart for offshore and corporate missions.
Finally, the Airbus H130 completes the sequence, landing gracefully in the dark. Powered by a Turbomeca Arriel 2D engine, this helicopter achieves a top speed of 134 knots (248 km/h) and a range of 347 nautical miles (643 km). Its spacious cabin and low noise levels make it perfect for tourism and executive transport, ensuring comfort even during night operations.

Wow!! One of your best video ! Can we have more mountain helipad videos in the future with blue skies and no cloud coverage !?! Am I wrong or the quality of the mountain pad video is not as great as what we are used to ? Weather ( haze ) or different camera ? Love those little pauses in the video with the dog, the cat,the bird and the helicopters close-ups...Very,very nice !! Thank you again.
