I would love to be able to attach a photo here of my baby green bell peppers & baby cucumbers(3" long) I have growing rt now in my Aero garden Bounty Elites! It makes me happy to see them! ❤❤😂❤❤ I kept count of how many lettuce leaves I initially harvested off my very 1st AG Bounty Elite(in fact all 4 are the Bounty Elite), and I harvested 535 lettuce leaves alone! That was from Sept.7, 2022, when i set it up until Dec. 18, 2022, when I finally decided I wanted to start something different. It was still slowly producing lettuce but I was anxious to try something new. Right now I have so much basil and a Celosia(flower) in one, 2 tomatoes& jalapeno pepper in another, lettuce, bell pepper, sage & a tomato plant(only abt 8" tall( in another... and in the 4th AG I use as a germination station to start new plants as seeds in the AG pods or small babies until they get established. I can keep the light the same height on them that way. It's important to keep the same height of plants together as they all can get light equally. I also use velcro strips from the fabric dept to keep some plants pulled to the side, attached to the trellis pole, just enough so they don't block light from other plants.
Amazon recently had the Farm 24XL for just $500. I kept "thinking about it" until it was too late. I now wish I had bought two. I've got two Bounty Basics, and two AeroGarden knockoffs, and will be adding more. I've also got an 8-bucket DWC system, and I'm sitting up more hydroponics systems. This stuff is addictive!! Thanks for the video. You're a pleasure to listen to.
Great video. I'm in NYC as well and i picked up a harvest last month. One of my basil plants is growing hard. I dont think its normal but Its very nice to watch it grow. I eventually want to get 2 XL farms and stack them
Basil is the reason I bought one. I didn’t get to grow any outside for the past 3 years. Usually I would chop it, mix with olive oil. Then spoon out tablespoons to freeze on a cookie sheet. When frozen, throw in a freezer container.
I was able to get a farm 12xl for $215.00 a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely love it. Sher, I had your video on play as I went along to setting it up so thank you
Julissacruz... Do you have a more recent update on the Farm unit, as I have 4 AG Bounty Elites and❤ them! Was wondering how the Farm Units rate over all ?
@@ivorykeys1566 I have 3 bounty and 1 farm 12xl… I love them allll. The farm is great for taller plants and the lights are pretty strong. I rate the farm a 9! You do need more fertilizer because it’s 2 gallons instead of the 1 gallon in the bounties. Hope this helps
Looks really nice there's an open box unit at my best buy for $290 im looking at it's the 12XL. These sensors look really really cool. I could make the reservoir bigger and make hydroponic mixes for all my plants with it. I already have a ton of plants this looks like itd be a really fun little expansion.
@@KishorTwist I’m embarrassed to say that I bought it all those months ago, and it is still sitting unopened on my dining room floor. I will open it eventually. My husband certainly asks me every week about it.
Just got a Farm and I'm enjoying the wealth of information on your channel. Question: do you use/recommend any supplements, substitutions and/or alternatives to the plant food provided by aerogarden? I've seen some people bring up issues with the plant food being too strong. Thank you
Hi love your vids. I think the screw holes are offset on purpose to add better support for the top. They should explain that in the manual. It's definitely a pain
Just got the farm 24XL for $325 on a whim the other day (Sure beats the original $1K+ price tag). They must be getting rid of this model and will be selling a new model soon. II have a small table top unit which I love but Unfortunately it has a small capacity. I saw multiple Facebook posts this past few days about this incredible sale and many folks were buying 3 and 4 of these at a time. I bought one because I wanted to ensure a harvest if my outdoor container garden is devoured by critters and insects. I have 6 cherry tomatoes and early girl and a Roma tomato plants. All are loaded with green tomatoes and flowers. I want to make sure I have enough to sun dry. Many other veggies in pots as well. I can’t wait to grow kale and spinach indoors now. I don’t have to wait and plant until fall to have them again. I have the plant anything kit I got off of Amazon for a very economical price. Already have a fair amount of seeds left from my current garden. I see planting in my near future😊
Nice! Hm im not sure about them retiring it because I got another when they had the huge sale too and it’s slightly newer than the one i got a couple months back. Maybe just more competition…
Thanks for all the info, do you happen to know if I can set up a farm model in a screened porch with no AC, I'm in florida or do they have to be indoors?
(A bit late I know, but I'm in FL too and I was looking into this a few months back) depends on what you're looking to plant. Florida is very hot and humid basically year round and some plants just will not do well in that kind of climate. Herbs and tomatoes I think can do okay as well as hot peppers, but lettuces will likely not turn out great. Research ideal temperature conditions for whatever you're looking to grow. Also bear in mind that even in a screened in patio, your plants will still be much more at risk of parasites and diseases than they would be inside
Super disappointed. Your peppers look very stereotypical of hydroponic peppers, skinny and tiny. I was hoping the height would help. I tried growing thai, jalapeno, and habanero and had very similar results to you. Can never get fat juicy peppers
I'd go back to that same dentist and demand they make those veneers A LOT smaller. Don't let dentists give you horse teeth when you fork out all that money for veneers! It's not even right!! It's cruel to do that to people. No one will tell you that but I will and that's exactly what they're saying behind your back. You don't want to be "that" girl walking around with horse teeth and no one tells u.

This video is so helpful. I’m going to be buying an Aerogarden and this definitely helped me to make that decision.
What's your follow-up?

I happy I got one now. Best Buy finally had a sale for the farm so I bought it to finance it.
I’m wondering if you factor in the electricity, cost of pods, cost of fertilizer, if it’s worth they money in the long run
just did a post on this! shershegrows.com/is-aerogarden-worth-it/#herbs-aerogarden-harvest-roi
How have the peppers turned out so far? What are you doing for self-pollination?
Good! Mhm just shaking them works well 👍🏻
Great review and overall description of the product. Hope to see more videos, they all turn out great.
Just ordered a 24xl Thursday for 325. Now it’s back over 750
Where did you find that deal?

Ah is that why? Still, they gotta find another way, its a PITA 😤
electricity bill? was it over 100 with this installment?
Have you ever grown Kohlrabi?
Sher, I just got my first farm the Farm 12xl how would you suggest planting it specifically the golden harvest cherry tomatoes Thanks
My supposed to be Golden Harvest Tomatoes were equally as red as my Red Cherry tomatoes...😂
I'm sure it was a mislabeling.
The machine is sweet but you are sweeter , nice video

Be sure to use a fan close by blowing on those plants to mimick the outdoor wind. Spinach loves cool weather!

If there’s an electric hookup on your porch should work just fine!

hi , i love your vlogs,
FYI as of 05/17/2023 all Aerogarden Farm units are on sale. There is CABIN20 code for $20 off the sale price. I had to pull the trigger on a Farm XL.
got another as well, crazy good deal 🥳
