Aerogarden Bounty Elite Vs. Amazon's Cheapest Comparable Knockoff

While we've had nothing but success with the Aerogarden Bounty Elite, its very pricey. We wanted a second one to experiment with some new types of plants but didn't want to drop almost 400$. So after hunting around on Amazon we found something comparable, slightly larger fir a fraction of the price. But how does it hold up. Lets find out.

The amount of nutes should be based on the water volume -- not the number of pods. All pods are consuming from the same dilution whether you have 1 pod or 15.

Yes for the first few feedings but the number of plants will affect how quickly the nutrients are used

Very nice comparison. We have a lot of Aerogardens but we luckily picked them up on clearance or steep discount otherwise we wouldn't have them. This looks like a great alternative if we have to buy more. I do think our space can't handle anymore right now, but it is good to know for future expansion of the indoor winter garden.

I have the same exact unit except it's called Diivoo. You loaded up a lot of pods in there that really should not be mixed together. Too many pods. I will definitely be looking for your update on this. Also, that price on the Bounty Elite is ridiculous and not normal. They go as low as $200 during the holidays. $259 is the more usual good sale price.

I have a ton of aerogardens, and a few off-brand units for testing. I admit that I never use those a b nutrients that come with them. They are confusing. I always stick to the AeroGarden nutrients.

I didnt bother becuase I knew we were only going to use the aerogarden supplies, and never use that stuff again once the supplies were exhausted
