I think there are two mistakes: - for "Conqueror of Ulduar", you don't have to kill all bosses in one go. If you kill a boss with no raidmember dying, that boss is "done", even if you wipe later in that raid. So you can split the achievement over as many runs as you want, and have as many wipes/deaths in between. You just had to kill each boss individually without anyone dying at some point. - for "Grand Crusader", you just had to complete the raid with 50 attempts left, so you couldn't wipe, but you were allowed to die. There is another FoS, "A Tribute to Immortality", where no raidmember was allowed to die, but that gave you the mount and not a title.

There’s one more title that should have probably been included. “Mistwalker” it can only be obtained if you Held one of the fastest times in panadaria challenge modes. For example, if you got the fastest time in one of the scarlet monastery dungeons you got the temporary title of “Scarlet Commander” and at the end of MOP that title turned into “mistwalker” through a feat of strength.
I did the current quest line for the warlock back in mop, that shit was incredibly hard at the time if you were slightly undergeared. Fun as hell though
@@sylermran I think I spent more time at that repair anvil just rethinking and rewatching other players beat it and starting all over again hoping this would be the attempt.
Wow. Great video! I have 'The Undying' title on my main. Those Nax raids were a lot of fun back in the day with the old guild. Spare Heals or Tank armor. Good times.
Conqueror of Ulduar is a title that my guild tried to get for months and we didnt make it. Either someone disconnected or someone died against Yogg or Mimiron. :D
So I got of the black harvest on my warlock in 2015, after years and years of ticketing for it. I did the quest about a week or two into 5.2, and quit playing MoP before they made the title a thing. Didn’t come back until the tail end of WoD, which was when my tickets actually got through. I sent them old screenshots of my UI’s, but what pushed it over the edge was actually footage of my CM runs from MoP where I had green fire active. After I sent them a ticket with a link to that video, they finally claimed to have “found the data for the achievement in their files”, but I’m convinced the video is what did it.
Getting that on my warlock is still one of my most favourite moments for all of wow. Took me like 20 attempts over 2 days but when I got it I was so happy
Yep it’s one of my favorite things as well I’ve ever done in wow. Classic has been fun but that title is something I really do enjoy having on my warlock. Took me several days of trying that fight up top too. Lol
I agree, the quest was epic. I rock the Black Harvest title on my Warlock all the time. All my other characters I change their titles around from time to time, but my Warlock always uses Of the Black Harvest. My heart was racing so much during that fight, and probably even more so when I beat it. But it was so worth it.
I've got Grand Crusader, The Celestial Defender, Death's Demise, Conqueror of Ulduar, and The Immortal. One I really wish I got? "The Magic Seeker". Sounds so amazing, especially for a mage character. lol
The TOGC realm first title was not an Immortal like title. You just couldn’t have a raid wipe for it. If everyone died besides 1 person and they finished the boss, you could still get the title, so long as you were the first raid on your server to clear the instance on heroic with no wipes. If you did TOGC 25man Immortality run, you would be rewarded with a mount. Also, Vanquisher title and CM titles were extremely rare, same with Rank 1 Gladiator titles.
Playing since the title was added I think I’ve only seen 5-6 other people that have it, it’s definitely up there. I see many of the ones listed here frequently. There are a few exceptions like grand crusader which I think I’ve only seen a few times over the years.
It’s quite common. I don’t wear it because I have Famed Slayer of the Harbinger though. Was one of a couple retribution paladins in the US to get that title. Probably the same for others.
@@michaelbeleut6480 The percentages he uses in the video for the amount of players that have earned the title are from wowhead. They have Azeroth's Champion less than 1% of the player base.
@@dwayneclarke1045 I know, he probably didn’t list it because everyone that managed to get the title probably still wears it. I see it over 30 times a day if I login.
Ah, that awesome feeling when you find out you have a “no longer obtainable” thing in wow, coz’ you didn’t know it was removed from the game. Now besides some mounts, toys and pets, the “of the black harvest” green fire warlock quest title suddenly sounds way cooler than before.
I had both Warlord of Draenor and Of the Black Harvest titles, and let me tell you, that Green Fire... it was the moment where I think I've felt the most proud about myself in my entire life, after a week of trying, and massive amounts of tears, pulled hairs, and possibly Blood... I got it when ToT was still current, though, mostly on PvP Gear + Raid Finder Trinkets, I remmeber I was even watching a guide (for like the 100th time) WHILE doing it.
Correction on the scarab lord mount. it was NOT the "only legendary mount that could be obtained ever" as the phoenix from Tempest Keep used to be legendary too during both BC and Wotlk, not sure if it was in Cata or later that its rarity got changed for some reason (likely because they reused it for the dark phoenix & later pandaren phoenixes). (although that title is a bit of a sore spot/annoyance in that so many changed to new servers and got the title and mount until it was changed during/after wotlk, as many knows). Suppose the closest thing they've done to the big server-crashing 10h event, was the WoD launch where they forced the entire server into the same spot on the map to watch a cutscene and step through the dark portal. That really crippled everything, had a friend on lower populated realms that said it was mostly fine a day or two after, but i played on a high pop server and WoD was completely unplayable at launch... at least i wasn't one of those people that got stuck in the Garrison the whole time.
I remember getting the undying title back in the day. We 8 manned the 10man naxx because we had a disc priest healer who said he could do it without help. And sure as hell he did. Even was able to keep a hunter alive who disconnected during the sapphiron fight and got stuck in a blizzard. Crazy times. My favorite title for sure.
I often wish there were ways to still obtain some of these. Obviously the Undying would be crazy to just hand out now that I can one shot everything inside Naxx, but maybe they could enable it during timewalking? Make it hard. That way the old people's work wouldn't be undermined but there would still be a way. The other one I really miss is the Field Medic title.
@@StaffordMagnus I wouldn't want them to just add them back for free. The Field Medic title for example would still be a long and tedious process to get and not many people would bother to get it just because they're available.
@@tomeekun I don't know what that title is, I quit towards the end of Cata, that said, my general rule of thumb for Blizz would be, titles or achievements that would be made easier by doing it at a higher level than it was originally intended for should be removed upon launc of the next Expac (and level cap increase). Having people being able to obtain rare titles at a higher level simply cheapens it for those who were dedicated or skilled enough to get it _at level._ Obviously this does not apply to all achievement titles, as an example, 'Insane in the Membrane' is made marginally easier by being a higher level, but it's still an enormous grind.
Realm first titles were really easy to get in cataclysm if your server had not yet a realm first done when it launched. Had a guildie who got Grand Crusader that way and wasn't even aware it hadn't already been done.
Rofl dang, those must've have been some new servers or low population. Even on our low/medium population server of Demon Soul they got Grand Crusader back when the patch launched.
I loved the long quest chains they used to have... do they still have them in the game ? (I quit half way during Cataclysm, came back briefly at the end of Panda then quit again at the start of WoD) ....
Man I remember when Ulduar and ToC came out. I had just got my undying title and that content completely wrecked everyone. Crazy to see even now how lawless and hard it was made stands the test of wow history haha
So I am one of the 7% who got Champion of the Naaru. Sweet. I still remember it, we killed Gruul one day before the patch hit that made getting the titles impossible. Sadly I couldn't get Hand of A'dal, didn't even try with the time I had left.
I remember doing that warlock green fire quest back then, the last fight was insanely hard and took me a week of attempts to finally beat it. Also it turns your mount green as a cool side note :)
Erm... just a comment. Not a snowballs chance in Hades that Celesial Def was ahead of Death's Demise. Guilds got CD and then half a year later they would get DD. And Algalon is a joke w/ Bear tanks. Everything else? Got disenchanted. There was that.... sub X gear score number killing Algalon. But I understand why that is probably now a lot higher then what it was during Ulduar. People kept farming it w/ updated talents and what not a couple of xpacs after. But during Ulduar? It was stupid rare. I also have almost all these titles on my retail mail (Outside of Scarab Lord) and I could be wrong, but I dont remember Grand Crusader taking a perfect run. Just the first Guild to kill Anub. The no one dying thing was for the Horse from my memory.
The Hand of A'dal was also achievable after 3.0.2 if you still had the Vials of Eternity quest in your quest log from before the patch. That was how I got the title as I had not completed it previously. While the quest is still in the game, the quest ID was changed after WotLK came out so that if you picked it up after 3.0.2 it would not lead to receiving the title.
Getting Death's Demise back in the day was the most fun I've ever had playing this game... sadly my guild imploded in the next expac, and most of us went our separate ways after that...so I stopped playing the game pretty soon after :(
Having that title in perpetuity is a pretty awesome thing though. I have titles 10, 9, and 8, and newbies would occasionally ask about them, so I can only imagine the attention you would receive for a title _that_ rare!
I am proud of the titles from this list that I have. Death's Demise is the only title I use on my main though, but my alts will wear some of the others😊
dang Death's demise was one I always wanted. Yogg 0 Keepers was always one of the challenges I never got to do while Wrath was current. I am hoping when Wrath comes out to find a good guild for it and go back.
Ahh the Black harvest title. I remember doing the quest and beating Kanrethad as I wasn't maining a Lock at the time but my friends and brother who did play Locks were always speaking of it in Guild Chat so i leveled my Lock and after watching a few vids from Aecthal modified his strat and beat the challenge. Eventually Blizz changed the mechanics of the fight tomake it "more doable" which I thought was silly but I didn't care. Was pretty neat and I got so many offers by other players to play their account to get them the green fire but I declined. Before the end of MoP I quit wow and came back in the middle of BFA. After 3 weeks of playing a guild mate stated I should have the title so I checked and I did not. So I sent in a ticket and the GM gave me the run around saying I had played the toon for 3 weeks so they didn't know if I had just got the green fire etc. After showing that I never set foot onthe isle since returning the higher ups (ticket was escalated up) the final answer was " We jsut don't feel right giving away such a prestigious title." Which was the exact words messaged to me by the GM. My response was "It's not a prestigious title" the GM replied " What do you mean?" and I answered "If the 7th player on my server doesn't have title it can't be very prestigious now can it?" He literally stated "ouch!" To be honest that was almost as gratifying as when I beat the challenge. Gosh I remember every detail of the fight and the very small things many guides didn't explain to people that i figured out on my own. Bitter sweet.
Hiru, I got a question for you! I hope you see it. I wanted to ask you how you track/find certain % statistics? I am trying to find how many people have earned achievement. Its PoA (kyrian) purple mog achieve. If you the means, could you please tell me? Thaaanks!
The Chosen title from Legion that required you to defeat all 3 bosses on mythic without dying is also pretty rare. The difference with this achievement is that it was all about you, if someone else in the grp died it didnt messed up the achievement. Also, along with the FoS achievement you also get the mythic version of the Chosen armor set. Tbh it was hard because doing it without a guild was almost guarantee failure because you needed random ppl in your grp to be doing their jobs during mechanics on Mythic ... yeah thats funny
Getting ''of the Black Harvest'' cost me over 20k gold in repairs back then, as I was fighting the boss in full arena gear. Compared to that, Lord of War was a piece of cake to get.
The 9th of December in 2009. We were a group consisting of 10 roleplayers and on that evening we got the 10-Man Version of the Grand Crusade. The Argent Defender.
There was a giltch with WoD and the gladiator's thing that if you faction changed with the quest you'd be able to permanently get two at a time. My DK has abandoned and retaken quests for ever and still has two at a time because it glitched when I switched from Horde to Ally.
One of my greatest regrets - not giving AF about titles at the time - I had the Hand of A'dal complete to the stage where i had to go talk to the npc in SSC, but after almost 1 year break, coming back in wotlk I had my quest log full from the new zones and cba to find a couple of players to do SSC and abandoned it. At least got my CotN .
Herald of the Titan and Scarab Lord were the two titles I've wanted the most. Unfortunately couldn't get. Also notably the Shattered Sun. I remember I had to pay 1k gold for it after getting exalted but I was grinding for epic mount and it's the title I see literally no one with. I wish I bought it looking back now. Also lost out on the immortal title on Kel at the last minute. Never attempted it again
Surprised the black harvest had such a low completion :o If memory serves right it was pretty difficult during ToT, but in SoO with the insane trinkets and gear upgrades.. Felt like you could murder him before his fight really started, with only a few ability loops. Memory may be a bit off... As it's a bit ago.
I have two of those, Black Harvest and Lady of War. Pretty much the only ones you can do solo, because I never was in a raid group who was good enough to do it AND cared about achievements.
I played a lot of Halo 3 during BC so I never got those. I did get Undying, Lady of War which I believe is still obtainable, of the black harvest was the most fun of these and pretty hard during 5.2 but it go so easy afterwards. I got it on both of my locks and a couple dozen players who may have paid me some gold do get it for them,
Great vid! I probably wouldve replaced the garrison titles with the challenge mode titles for getting a realm first gold or something cuz those titles are really really cool like "shado pan defender" "dockmaster" "siegebreaker" etc etc
I got Champion of Uldiar pugging it over a few months. Oddly I was closer to Conqueror for a long time, I ended up just missing out on it because of Thorim of all bosses..even after getting the Mimron kill in hard mode.

the "Warlods of dreanor" title was so hard to get, that back in WOD i ran Ashran 11 hours a day everyday for about 6 months to get it and iwas on a "full" population server
You missed the most impressive of them all which was granted with the achievement Hot hot hot streak which was win 10 matches in a row above 2k rating. Also not sure if there is another video with impressive pvp titles?
Hey Hiru, do u ever wonder if the characters from the wow novels ever are in game? I think I seen a few but maybe I m wrong, ever made a list of that by any chance?
Ha, didn't realize some of the titles I have were completed by such a small percentage of the player base. That said, I preferred and used "Knight-Captain" on my Rogue all the time. :)
I technically got Hand of A'dal twice - due to getting it on 2 characters as I rerolled Paladin at the start of TBC, got the quest done (mostly) then rerolled back to my OG character a Shaman and completed it. I then rerolled again at the end of TBC and finished it, though I may have got it done earlier as we did alt raids and BT was considered easy at that point. Didnt know it was that rare though oO

number 10 spot was 7% of the player base but mistwalker has 9% of the player base so it would have made the list if it was rarer.
Ahh ok, that’s good to know. Guess it’s not as rare as I thought >< lol

I did the current quest line for the warlock back in mop, that shit was incredibly hard at the time if you were slightly undergeared. Fun as hell though
blizz even knew it was hard cause they put a repair anvil at the last boss XD
@@sylermran I think I spent more time at that repair anvil just rethinking and rewatching other players beat it and starting all over again hoping this would be the attempt.
I haven't played wow in years but I still absolutely love your vids!
Wow. Great video! I have 'The Undying' title on my main. Those Nax raids were a lot of fun back in the day with the old guild. Spare Heals or Tank armor. Good times.
I’m proud of my Grand Crusader title. Everyone always took a second look at my character.
At least I got the black harvest title, but the green fire quest itself was great enough a reward.
Lol
@@bakerfx4968 same ill never forget that moment, i remember i also spend ALL my gold on repairs .. it took me +150 tries
Sounds so amazing, especially for a mage character. lol
The green fire quest when it was current is still the most fun and challenging thing I have ever done in wow to this day !
Champion of the Naaru is funny to me just because it's current content in classic right now and probably the most common title in classic right now
The TOGC realm first title was not an Immortal like title. Also, Vanquisher title and CM titles were extremely rare, same with Rank 1 Gladiator titles.
really enjoy these unobtainable videos
azeroth's champion would have to be up there.
I have done the Grand Crusader, but on a 10 man , achievement name "A tribute to Mad Skill",pre nerf 25 man must have been a nightmare.
Oh, the Green Fire quest. Was a lot of fun. Pretty challenging. Was glad I got to do it!
Oooooo I have champion of the Nauru and hand of adal. And undying. Didn't know those were rare. Cool!
Bliz is just incapable of balancing properly to make it the same difficulty as it was.
either that or they could add extra limits to the achievement in regards to player level and gear worn, like Herald of the Titans.
Nar, OG titles are a small reward for having played the game for so long. Titles, legendaries, etc aren't special if everyone has them.
Having people being able to obtain rare titles at a higher level simply cheapens it for those who were dedicated or skilled enough to get it _at level._
Obviously this does not apply to all achievement titles, as an example, 'Insane in the Membrane' is made marginally easier by being a higher level, but it's still an enormous grind.
I got the Scourge of the Kaldorei title in BFA for... reasons :3
Troll player ?
probably some moon guard reference
@@Roshea pretty sure it's a burning of Teldrassil moment
Realm first titles were really easy to get in cataclysm if your server had not yet a realm first done when it launched. Had a guildie who got Grand Crusader that way and wasn't even aware it hadn't already been done.
Rofl dang, those must've have been some new servers or low population. Even on our low/medium population server of Demon Soul they got Grand Crusader back when the patch launched.
Nice to see lots of the titles I have on this list :)
Keep up the good work m8 love your vids ;)
Got the Grand Crusader back in the day, rocking it on my pally as it fits him perfectly :)
I loved the long quest chains they used to have... do they still have them in the game ? (I quit half way during Cataclysm, came back briefly at the end of Panda then quit again at the start of WoD) ....
Warlord of Draenor is probably my proudest title, although I did it when it was current content so “easier” than it is now.
Thanks for the vid. I've always been curious what other rare/unobtainable titles there are since seeing Hand of A'dal
I wonder how many people have Azeroth's Champion. You needed to play multiple types of content at very high level in order to get it
I remember doing that warlock green fire quest back then, the last fight was insanely hard and took me a week of attempts to finally beat it. Also it turns your mount green as a cool side note :)
I got the Black Harvest achievement. One of the coolest wow event i've ever done. Spent so much time figuring out how to beat it.
Erm... just a comment.
Hey, here's an idea for a video:
Top 10 non CD healing abilities of all times. There's a lot from where you can choose!
What about The Undaunted or The Proven Defender/Damage Dealer/Healer Endless Wave 30?
After showing that I never set foot onthe isle since returning the higher ups (ticket was escalated up) the final answer was " We jsut don't feel right giving away such a prestigious title."
Which was the exact words messaged to me by the GM. My response was "It's not a prestigious title" the GM replied " What do you mean?" and I answered "If the 7th player on my server doesn't have title it can't be very prestigious now can it?" He literally stated "ouch!"
To be honest that was almost as gratifying as when I beat the challenge.
Thaaanks!
I'm surprised you didn't include the titles obtained from the Challenge Modes in MoP like Flame-weaver, Mogu Slayer etc.
thought the same. also arena master and rank1 titles not on the list. like wtf?
Your biggest fan here! I'm so glad you didn't give up on wow!
just came by to say I love this channel even tho I stopped playing wow a year ago.
What about all the Elite PvP Titles like Wrathful Gladiator etc?
It's not too big a deal, but cool if you do have it
Got Champion of the Naaru and Hand of A'dal on KT pre-nerf.. those were good times
oh so thats why my dad never stops talking about his locks title, nice video!
I really miss the villains corner videos and videos like that. Would you ever consider bringing back that series?
Managed to get *Of the Black Harvest* back in the day. Had an idea for a top 10 video, most interesting or most useful archeology items.
Isn't there the Mad lad title or something like that in WOTLK where you got to farm ravenholdt, shen'dralar and all that ?
Surprised the black harvest had such a low completion :o If memory serves right it was pretty difficult during ToT, but in SoO with the insane trinkets and gear upgrades.. Felt like you could murder him before his fight really started, with only a few ability loops. Memory may be a bit off... As it's a bit ago.
Yay. Hand of A'Dal was one I was able to get :D
And Black Harvest.
I have two of those, Black Harvest and Lady of War. Pretty much the only ones you can do solo, because I never was in a raid group who was good enough to do it AND cared about achievements.
Unless i have Gladiator, i’m always rocking the Arena Master. Sometimes Hand of A’dal
No one cares nor can they confirm. You sure do sound cool though 😎
I was so inspired by your videos
hirumaredx that I made one of my own!
Also there was the " Conquerror of Naxxramas" looking very pretty cool and proud to wield that, also looking to get atleast that one in WotLK classic.
I had three of these. Hand of A’dal, of the black harvest and Grand Crusader. Realm of Terokkar Horde since 2007. For the Horde !!
Surprised Famed Slayer of the Harbinger wasn’t listed here. Was one guild of the 40ish alliance guilds worldwide that got that. It’s crazy.
Thanks for doing this!
I earned (vanilla) Grand Marshal and Grand Crusader during WotLK. I haven’t met anyone else with the same two titles, but I know you’re out there.
What’s the name of the addon for the quest test box he is using?
Farming the Gladiator garrion titles was a wild ride, especially trying to kill 500 pandaren.
I'm one of these players with the Undying title; Heigen, Thaddius and Kel'Thuzad for sure were the biggest problems.
I got Champion of Uldiar pugging it over a few months.
Oddly I was closer to Conqueror for a long time, I ended up just missing out on it because of Thorim of all bosses..even after getting the Mimron kill in hard mode.
The feeling when you were a Wrath pumper and have 50% the titles listed in this video
Stop and think: youre really looking for affirmation from strangers claiming something that can't be confirmed bur you're hooing people believe so you sound... "cool"?
Neckbeard narcissism 😂

on Baelgun, I have 3 of these titles from Wrath, and if it wasn’t for work would of had deaths demise. Guild imploded in Cata but man do I miss being in a top guild. Sucks getting old.
the "Warlods of dreanor" title was so hard to get, that back in WOD i ran Ashran 11 hours a day everyday for about 6 months to get it and iwas on a "full" population server
It is explained in this video!
Hey kiru, Just Out of curiosity: which Country are you from and how old are you?
Nice vid, Always enjoy your stuff :)
