Oh my...so lovely! Thank you for this beautiful share. I've been down after having knee surgery followed by a mini stroke, so your videos have truly helped to lift my mood as well as inspired me to use this "down" time constructively. Thank you again! This project is absolutely gorgeous ! xx
LIN Mims Do your best to keep your crafty ideas happening after your stroke. I had a stroke about a year and a half ago and the doctor told me that a lot of my "amazing" recovery was due to the fact that I didn't really slow down my crafting (spinning, knitting, weaving, felt appliqué, and painting). One of the first things I did when I got home from the hospital was to sit down at my spinning wheel and spin some wool. A few days later I found the craft of felt appliqué which helped me to rehab my stitching skills. It was not easy, but was well worth every minute of time spent as most people whom I have just met or have not seen in a while are surprised that I have had the stroke. I am still recovering and consider it a journey rather than a destination. I will be thinking about you and sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

I have watched this many times. It is a good starter piece for my first time piece in my art journal. I started it yeasterday and added a background to one page and will add the same background to the next page as soon as the first page dries and then I will add some cheese cloth or something then add some color and then my flowers and birds or something. I will post what I have been up to to your cafe page. You are VERY encouraging to me!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I love how the rise looked even more 3d when you added the white dots to it and putting the white in the middle of the flowers really brought the whole piece together for me

I bought so many items to begin my mixed media art adventures over the past few months - from gesso, modeling paste, stickers, stencils, etc. I *finally* started my first collage-based project last night after watching the other video you posted with the pretty face. I am still working on the piece, but got stuck on what else I should add to it, then saw this video pop up in my feed. Now I know what other types of elements I can incorporate, so thank you!
