Go to 6:15 of the video. The lyrics he is singing is "हो रहा था हो गया है हल्का सा खुमार" but while lip-syncing, instead of 'हल्का' Arijit sang "थोड़ा सा खुमार"।
This is just one small example and there are many other ways to know that this was not a live performance especially if you look at the breathing pattern and as I said earlier only a singer who has performed on stage can tell the difference.
I hate to do this but you have forced my hands. Now I am done with this conversation.
This man Arijit Singh can do a 2 hour concert where he is singing continuously and maybe a few other singers will jump in. The live concert is an experience. Immersive and completely enchanting.

He came to my college in a fest and a lot of people started crying we love him so much mainly people who are into music. He gonna be legend. We have seen a lot of great singers in our country who can change or flip tones and notes arijit is one of them. I wish him, he live long more then any of us

He sung multiple songs with seamless transition as if it’s just one song. When you think that he just took the voice to a half note, he does it so delicately and comes down immediately, so listeners won’t even know. It’s more difficult than singing a full note. He sings from throat, nose, mind and lungs. Normally other singers are heavy on one of these but he balances music perfectly, so it’s like a pearl garland of different colors. It comes through his practice and composure.

Fun fact: The last song he sang (Tum Hi Ho) is from an Indian movie that's a remake of the English movie, 'A Star Is Born' called 'Aashiqui 2'. The movie has around 5-6 songs and every one of them is absolutely beautiful.

Arijit Singh was one of the contestants in a show called "Fame Gurukul" and did not even finish top 3 despite everyone loving his voice and all the improvements he made to his singing since beginning of the show. But turned out to be one of the best singers. He is talented and fluid with his singing. Got soothing voice for sure. Audience you see here has a lot of singers/music directors /music producers and some actors (the pretty ones of course) who themselves sing time to time. You might also see some of them appear on Coke studio India.

Mr Arijit Singh is singing non stop, mixing his several different filmy song's short version one by one. At the end he again comes to the first song. The remarkable thing is that he is experimenting it live by singing those song's original version with a bit different notes now keeping original lyrics. Its very tough what he is doing. It requires Indian classical training for long time
