This line has a special place in my heart because they were the first line and first drum corps I ever saw in person at Drums Across the desert! I wanna be a blue knight someday.
this writing reminds me a lot of when i first got into battery writing and thought that drum corps music was really only characterized by being hard and complicated

I was a Blue Knight in the late 70s. I was 21 when I joined so I wasn't one for very long. And I was nowhere near as good as these drummers.
Such a dense book, must have been challenging to clean but fun to play
Loving this bass line 💪
