Chevrolet aftermarket makers make valve cover bolt washers (?) with the long wings that press down on the valve covers over a wide area. If those would fit on the AC valve cover it might cause the failure that happen to the gasket at the bolts. Those old hoses that need replacing regardless of the ease of getting to them later, will always when they fail, make the owner say "Why did Ross not replace that hose when he replaced the others?" BTW, always clean the windows when you work on the tractor because it will give the owner a new outlook on his tractor. Just like painting the grill on the cast Olivers. It makes the whole tractor look more like it was when it was new. Armorall the hoods is also a quick make it look better. That AC looks much better after you pressure washed it.

Those types of cleaning on the head is always a little time consuming work, but well worth the effort to get the valve cover gasket to seal, good job on both surfaces. Merry Christmas Ross, thanks for all the videos!🙏

Ross they have a kit they call a spring kit you have to drill the valve cover. It wont leak again. I have done 4 and still good

😊😊 HI ROSS that AC tractor 🚜 😊 starts better than most on a cold day 4 not having no glow plugs or no block heaters either and not using no starting fluid either the diesel engines didn't have glow plugs until later on / most are hateful and don't like the cold weather at all 😮😮 OMG 12 25 2O24
