On the weekends we would go to old Forge but during the week we would ride locally at night. This video is bringing back memories. Grew up riding these trails with my dad
Great video! That is a 2007 Arctic cat f-1000. I had the same sled from 06 to 09. We are heading up to the ANF in PA. Friday and ride for a few days. We usually ride in Quebec for 12 days. I hope the borders are open next year.
Surprised I didn’t see you, unless I did on Sunday. My stuff is parked at Pine Point. We were on the lake Sunday with my buddies kid on a 120. I feel like I may have lined up with you a couple times. I have a 600sx cat snocross sled. Love that lake. Always so much bite and it’s smooth as glass always.
No Way. Sunday i was headed home early. Saturday im pretty sure i saw you! I was on the lake numerous times from 9am-4pm. Pretty sure i saw you later on like 3-4

Hi Jesse. Great videos! I can hear a rattle on your sled at idle. It's your plastic on your pull start handle that's vibrating. The fix for that is some black foam tape between the handle and the holder slot.. it worked for me. Rattles drive me crazy...lol
Hey Kent It is actually the vent right next ThT the handle. I have pushed the tabs tighter now twice but have to do It again. Some rattle at the handle but mine is the vent. Appreciate you following along!!
Can’t wait to get up there in February! This will be my dads last trip. He’s 65. So I purchased a few go pros and stuff to capture this trip. I haven’t been with him in over 10 years due to money. Luckily I started my own business this year and have had an amazing year so I’m going all out!
Hey Jesse that’s crazy we never ran into each other up there I been spending my summer on the same lake up there as a kids never rode snowmobiles up there tho. I stayed at kasterns the place right as you come on and off the lake. Is the stump still in the middle of lake? This is crazy
@@MichiganJohn so normally just 91 non ethanol from the pump but Polaris is having some fuel mode issues as some people know so we were adding some 100 octane Sunoco to see if It helps the cause which It does. The fuel Mode is changing because it’s sensing a low DET code so jumping fuel Modes and dumping fuel. Added some Sunoco and It happens but less frequently

Yes 260 GTX! you could probably cut it with the pump gas. Look up an octane chart and see what mixture you need. 93 seems to be the sweet spot! Hope that helps!
Never rode in Lake George, did you do any trail riding there or just the lake? Also I know the lake is massive and is bigger than what it looks like in this picture. I got both my Polaris sleds from Sportline Powersports in Queensbury which is right near Lake George. When I priced out a Polaris sled in 2017, they were the best price of 4 dealers. I would highly recommend Sportline and the owners father and son Glenn and Justin are huge snowmobile riders themselves and very knowledgeable and into the sport.
Yes did a bunch of trail riding. Very nice trail system. Little on the smaller side but well maintained and very technical system. This was not actual lake george. This is Lake Vanare which is a much smaller lake up rt 9.
Hey Jesse, Been talking to Johnny @ Caputos about the larger wheels and drivers, Clutching and flash all Velocity Performance. What do you think about the upgrade? Kinda wanted to keep the 129 length.... 20 XCR 850... Do’s and Dont’s? Is it worth it... are you blown away? THX
Hey Chris. Obviosuly staying 129 you wont be able to do any of the big wheel stuff. The conversion does not in any way affect the handling if that is what you are worried about. I am super happy with the entire combo and I do recommend It!
ive seen this comment a time or two on my videos. I believe you the skidoos are fast but again i am not a fan of what they have going on with the Gen 4. Had one and hated it
@@JESSEJAMES322 everyone has their opinion but I have the Gen 4 and absolutely loveeeee it! The R-Motion is the best riding suspension I have ever rode. My 850 eats bumps and you don’t even feel it and then when you crack the throttle that 850 E-Tec is an animal! Love the looks of the Polaris and have rode the newer ones but just can’t leave my Skidoo because the Skidoo rides so much better and the Skidoo power was no match... Not even close. Love the vids and stay safe on the trails
I have both, the doo wins up top but the Polaris handles and rides better and much easier. The Poo 850 is pretty damn equal, matter of hookup, gearing, clutching IMHO
@@nealcichanowicz5041 well to reply to your comment... I have rode the new Polaris sleds and my Skidoo handles and rides a hell of a lot better than the Polaris or as they say Pullass... My Skidoo 850 buries Polaris 850’s when I race them. No comparison. Polaris will keep up for a little bit at first but then the Skidoo blows it away. Skidoo also has the best system for storage accessories with the Linq system. Had a couple friends that blew up their Polaris sleds and one of them was a new 850. Also have seen many of their Razor products have problem after problem. Skidoo and Brp engineering is far ahead of the competition in snowmobiles, Atvs and Utvs, watercraft, Aviation, and many more. Rotax engines are built and engineered far ahead of the competition. Guarantee my Skidoo has better fuel mileage and oil burn consumption than the other brands. Buddies I ride with are filling up almost out of gas and I will still have half a tank left in my 850 E-Tec... #TeamSkidoo

Nope i swapped out the gray panels for black ones and painted the inside of the windshield!
I was up there Saturday and ran a blacked out vr1 with my black \grey vr1 on lake vanare not sure if it was you but I won lol

My 2010 xrs 800 out runs my buddies vr1 850 from the hit and we both have storm 150s
800's were great motors!
Then your buddy can’t tide there is a 18 hp difference between the sleds the new 850 may trim is a lot faster
