Not sure why so much hate on the hybrid. I’ve had a 2014 hybrid Camry and it’s taken me to school every single day and I’m still using it to this day for my final year of college. Fantastic mileage even 10 years later and never had any issues besides the basic maintenance. Exact same as a gas car, pumps gas at the gas station just like any other, hybrid and electric probably are just scary words for people who are stuck in the past

I don't think there's much dispute about performance and reliability of Toyota hybrids. I owned a 21 Venza hybrid for three years. I traded it in for a non-hybrid 24 Camry. And even though I traded out of a hybrid, I would still recommend it to others. Having said that, the problem with Toyota's all-in for hybrids is that hybrids aren't the right vehicle for everyone, including myself. If you're a low mileage driver, if you live in a cold climate, and if you live in a state that adds a hybrid surcharge to the vehicle registration, you won't get any benefit from owning a hybrid. Low mileage on a hybrid causes the battery to deplete at a quicker rate, cold weather doubles your fuel consumption, and Wisonsin's $75 yearly hybrid tax cuts into your fuel savings. And yet, Toyota decided that anyone who buys a Camry must have a hybrid. Then do the math. If you take a car that's built to last 25 years with a battery made to last 15 years, how much of your fuel savings will be applied to the extra expense of the added $2000 for the car plus another $5000 to replace the battery?

There is nothing great about Tesla vehicles. Mediocre quality and worse reliability is what I hear most, with a whole host of problems coming down the road as they age. The first 5 year depreciation is astronomical according to Kelly blue book and NADA. A neighbor recently had a flat on his Tesla Y. Toyota has an unbelievably great warranty on all their main lithium vehicle batteries regardless of model of 10 years or 150,000 miles. And that is a FACT!!
@@swllz I had an Avalon for 20 years. Driving back forth to LA often . Never let me down. Filled gas, check oil regularly giving it the 91 grade gasoline always. It's strong as a wild horse. Died on it's 20th BD due to a major crash caused by a neglected driver. It was almost 300k miles in service.
The new Camry just looks like a Prius with an extra chromosome. For a company that prefers to never take giant leaps they really dropped the ball on this one. The front grille looks like the crown but made worse, the outgoing model looks infinitely more aggressive and better overall. Mechanical/analog dials and switches are just better, and for a brand like Toyota that taught its reliability, anything electric is a downgrade to that reliability. Anything CVT is an absolute deathnell for a car, see how well Nissan’s CVT transmissions have been holding up. A hybrid power train tells me that it will be expensive to maintain beyond 150,000 miles, even if it is a Toyota. With the total elimination of the V6 Tacoma something like this really should have been pretty obvious but Honda/Acura is dominating the market in the US over Toyota. Make a GR camry that’s just better or can compete with the Type R. The Integra Type S is a US exclusive, what’s stopping Toyota from doing the same with a GR Camry? Between this and the interior of the Lexus, which looks like it hasn’t changed since 2010, this is a weak offering.
Toyota has been making hybrids since 2001. That is almost 25 years. Toyota generally gets things right and when they don't move quickly to correct any defects. This hybrid is rock solid. By the way the factory warranty on the lithium battery is 10 years or 50,000 miles. That say volumes about their faith in their drivetrains. You certainly won't get that on any gasoline vehicle. I'm nearly 78 and have my first Toyota hybrid. At 34 mpg I am kicking myself for not getting one years ago. Just sign me never to old to learn.

Thank goodness. Toyota is no fool. They are number one in the world for very good reason. They make quality vehicles at reasonable prices with low maintenance costs over time. And they continue to do that year after year. They don't always have the latest whiz bang bling gadgets either. EV sales have dropped in the US to practically zero because people now see them for what they are. And that is NOT good for sales. Just check out the depreciation rates on all EV's. A great way to lose your money really fast.
Hybrid = costly battery replacement in the future. CVT = transmission fluid change every 30,000 miles, and the transmission belt can snap into pieces, and leave you stranded. Bye bye, Toyota. Hello, Mazda 3 sedan.
IV seen toyota hybrids with E-CVT’s still working from 12-20 years old. It’s good quality top on hybrids and E-cvt. Not a normal cvt . Yes you have the battery replacement, but you don’t have a battery, starter, alt, etc, the brakes last way longer and you save ALOT on gas. So it’s 1 for 1. And you should be changing your transmission oil atleast every 50k miles anyways if you plan to keep it forever.
It has been known that Toyota Camry Hybrid models only make up 16 percent of all Toyota Camry sales. Having sold annually between 200,000 to 300,000 Camry's of all powertrains and trims it can be said the average is estimated that 48,000 Camry Hybrids were sold each year for the last 8 years. With Toyota going all in on Hybrid for its 9th Generation 2025 Camry models that will and should result in much less sales figures that could result to 80,000 Camry Hybrids being sold compared to the typical average of 250,000 total of all Camrys. Toyota has self destruct! Reason as most people bought non-hybrids rather than hybrids. I firmly believe this is the end of the Camry. Just remember that the Corolla is pathetic and the Toyota Crown is a Clown.
Yeah I have the 2020 Toyota Camry xse , silver with black roof and red seats and I love my car I didn’t care for the hybrid at all . Maybe because I’m not educated enough with the whole hybrid and electric cars but I just liked the gas one and I felt like if something goes wrong with that hybrid I can only imagine prices to fix the car and probably only certain mechanics are experienced with it , making it harder to find someone to work on it ,but again I don’t know much when it comes to the hybrid cars.

New style looks ugly. Why get rid of gasoline engine? I got Camry over Prius because I did not want hybrid.
Yup ruined it
The front end of this car looks a lot like a Prius terrible design and hybrid and ecstatic. They have ruined the Camry, might as well discontinue it
Just a Camry to me
The car needs mid 6 sec 0-60 power of around 260 hp. 203 and the new models 232 hp just dont do it.
Bye bye CAMRY 😢/
I’ll keep my 2010 SE for ever 🙏
My 2010 Camry has 220k miles. If you do just basic maintenance, it will last.
You still have a shot at the 2024 before it's style is gone forever, replaced by something I sure don't want.
@@swllz
I had an Avalon for 20 years. Driving back forth to LA often . Never let me down. Filled gas, check oil regularly giving it the 91 grade gasoline always. It's strong as a wild horse. Died on it's 20th BD due to a major crash caused by a neglected driver. It was almost 300k miles in service.
You can just buy 2018 it’s cheap and looks bad ass
@@Hippy2021never needed to replace anything besides the basic battery and brakes oil filter?
No V6 so I stick with 2024 and feel the sound and engine than one lousy electric moto sh*t
No. The accord is more classic. They made the Camry worse. Inside and out.
In your opinion. I believe it is better looking except for the nose. Toyota is infected with ugly front ends.
Whichever one isnt made out of a tin can. Already know the 23’ 24’ is cheap.
Booo….
Bring back that Camry TRD
2024 and update to 2025 too it's can be electric breaks all wheel not anymore oil use in breaks system do this changing make Toyota any model up to 2024 only use oil in Engine & Transmission that's it me be in differential if use all wheel drive system please please take My suggestion shut be very good ideally road safety wise Thanks Baba,
Toyota corolla design 😂
*Size of the car*:
The size of Toyota Camry must be changed to bigger size like Toyota Crown or Toyota Avalon
Toyota Camry is the best and most expensive saloon/sedan Toyota has and it suppose to have the best of everything in sedan both interior and exterior
*Boot*:
The boot looks like that of station wagon
Is it wagon or sedan?
Please, let us know
*Headlight and rear light*:
I love the headlights and rear rear lights
*Tyre and Wheel*:
The size of the tyre *235/40/19R* is not that okay for me due to the condition of our roads
I would like to reduce the wheel to *18 inches* and increases the tyre to *235/60/18R* which is not compatible for 2025 Toyota Camry
Toyota should increase the space of *wing/fender* for more bigger tyre
*Door handle*:
The door handle has to be changed to something model
*Side Mirror*:
There are new models of side mirror which Toyota Camry does not have
Toyota should replace its side mirror to the best electronic mirror
*Dashboard*:
I love the design of *2023 dashboard* than this 2025 Toyota Camry
2023 Toyota Camry has the best dashboard
I would like to buy 2025 Toyota Camry only if Toyota can change its dashboard to 2023 dashboard
*Glove compartment*:
You did not show us inside the glove compartment to see the space
*Speedometer*:
What of the speedometer?
You did not show us the speedometer
*Steering wheel*:
I love the steering wheel
*Gear lever*:
How many gear does 2025 Toyota Camry has?
*Handbrake*:
You did not show us the handbrake
Needs a bench front seat for more space and better knee room.
New model 2025 and yet no plug in hybrid.
Hello, Mazda 3 sedan.
my 21 camry hybrid se has over 250k trouble free miles on it. So you don't know anything about these cars. Go buy a Mazda
No to the CVT for me
Absolutely. Hot trash.
New one looks like a Prius with an ugly front grill
The front of the 2024 Camry is just ugly and weirdly shaped. The 2025 is way better and cleaner.
Get your eyes checked 😂😂
Is the assumption that Camry will be hybrids only for every market?
Absolutely 👍
Yeah I have the 2020 Toyota Camry xse , silver with black roof and red seats and I love my car I didn’t care for the hybrid at all . Maybe because I’m not educated enough with the whole hybrid and electric cars but I just liked the gas one and I felt like if something goes wrong with that hybrid I can only imagine prices to fix the car and probably only certain mechanics are experienced with it , making it harder to find someone to work on it ,but again I don’t know much when it comes to the hybrid cars.
With a hybrid you will be stuck bring it to the dealer and being ripped off. @@boobierubi8567
Kia will jump ahead of toyota nobody want ev toyota will lose lots of money
Ecvt= trash ! and hybrid? No thank you
I love Toyotas I've had two of them best cars I've ever had. As far as the new one looks too much like a fake Lexus. With that ugly Lexus front. If I won a Lexus I'll go buy one not an imitation. ❗👍
toyota is always trying to win the ugly contest. I cannot figure that one out.
Extremely ugly in and out 2023 camry especially the nonsense Y shape design dashboard....viewing angles are terrible due to low roof height and sloping front and rear winfshield...rear windshield glass too tiny as well....center console awkward to open due to weird lid design....2025 looks 25 % better but the nicer 8 speed auto transmission is now replaced with terrible ECVT no driving pleasure....the exterior of 2025 camry still has the ugliness designs and curves from 2023 - 25 camry the rear sides still look almost same.....the window trim still looks exact same goes straight and then curves up towards both ends....Ugly and big cars Camry
