The universe is a mystery that has always puzzled Mankind. How was it created and who is responsible For Creation? In Hinduism, there are many theories about how the universe was created in the earliest days. Let’s explore some of them. In Hinduism, the universe is not one single entity. There are an infinite number of universes that are constantly being created and destroyed. In other words, we live in a universe that belongs to a multiverse. Our universe will ultimately die, but the multiverse lives on. Lord Vishnu is a personification of this multiverse.

Tulsidas who wrote the chalisa passed away in 1623. :)
Given tulsidas wasn't an astronomer or mathematician the distance must have been calculated by others even earlier.

2. VEDAS SAY SUN MOVES AROUND THE EARTH ON A GOLDEN CHARIOT WITH HIS 7 HORSES
As the Vedas Claim that the earth is static and so they tried to prove that the sun moves around the earth. The following statement from the rig Ved tries to clarify it:
1. "Sun is full of light and knows all the human beings, so his (horses) take him to sky to look at the world" [Rig Ved Book 1 Hymn 50 Mantra 1]
2. "O, Bright sun, a chariot named harit with seven horses takes you to sky"
[Rig Ved Book 1 Hymn 50 Mantra 8]
3. "O, man, the sun who is most attractive, takes round of the earth, on his golden chariot through the sky and removes the darkness of the earth"
[Yajur Ved Ch 33 Verse 43]
There are many unscientific things or potion in the Vedas and Baghwath Geeta. One scientific error is enough to prove it’s not the books of God neither completely guidance to whole mankind.

One should read the translations of nasadiya sukta and hiranya garbha sukta from rigveda to understand the first ideas of rishis regarding the origin of universe. 1.) There are no "many theories" but, only one, as per vedas.
2.) This is knowledge from Vedas and not from Hinduism. Vedas has nothing to do with Hinduism. There was "Sanatan Dharm" and that may not be associated with collective knwoledge of Vedas.
So Vedas has nothing to do with hinduism although they have similar basis and principles

This is an incomplete version. Who created Vishnu ? Creation started with disturbance in energy composition as per desire of Supreme which is considered as Maha Thathwa from which Athma Thatwa or principle got established which subsequent lt resulted in formation of Vishnu Brahma Shiva thrimurthi. The initial principles of energy explosion it's cause frm Supreme are important to understand the scientific reason stated in Vedas. This part was missed out here.
