Your last statement is but partially right. You're most probably talking about Advait Vedanta when you say Brahman has five equal manifestations. But all other Vedanta systems, such as Vishishtadvaita, dvaitadvaita, bheda abheda, dvaita, etc are Vaishnavite systems and they don't agree that other 4 four forms are coequal to supreme Lord Vishnu/Krishna. They specifically teach that only Krishna is the supreme Brahman and others are just His manifestations and expansions, hence not equal to Him.

in ramcharitamanas, a version of ramayan from tulsi das, it is written that before performing marriage of Shiva and Parvati prayer for Shri Ganesh was performed. but Ganesh wasnt born yet. tulsi das explained- in leela Gods maybe born later but they are always present as Gods are free from birth and death.

We are a product of mother nature (Parvati) full of ego and individuality. We need the spear of consciousness to raze our ego /individuality (literally behead) and then our intelligence in the form of Ganesha is born when we realize we are the product of nature / prakriti (Parvati) and Shiva or Brahman or consciousness. All of these will only remain stories unless we understand the symbolism. For example, let us take the birth of Ganesha story. We are a product of mother nature (Parvati) full of ego and individuality. We need the spear of consciousness to raze our ego /individuality (literally behead) and then our intelligence in the form of Ganesha is born when we realize we are the product of nature / prakriti (Parvati) and Shiva or Brahman or consciousness.
Similarly, Ganesha's (intellect) vehicle is the mouse (mind). We must use the intellect to control our mind so we can reach the higher levels of consciousness.

I am a bengali too and i feel the same. Actually for all human beings in india, mother goddess/shakti is dear to us, because by birth our first refuge, our first saviour is no other than our mothers themselves. It is widely found in India where Devi festivals are actually held with much more prosperity than even major festivals like Ram Navami or Mahashivratri.
Actually the life can be described in these four stages by me which is true to all,
1. Shakta (birth - teenage)
Motherly Love, playfulness
2. Shaiv (teenage - work) / Guru Phase
Proper teachings, intense austerities and penance, meditation
3. Smarta (work - retirement) / The self Search Phase
Scrolling through various deities and their teachings, leelas and pastimes, bhakti engagement
4. Vaishnav ( retirement - death )
After our self search and confirmation from all resources all great sages and celestial beings have shown to settle for Sri Hari. As we say *Moronkale Harinam* , thus finally attaining the supreme divinity of Krishna and his nature and moksha.
There's no classification like the western hierarchy system in this, the hand of the body is as important as the head. So we are all by default Shaktas and lovers of our mothers, and yes she ofc is the supreme whom everyone attains.
