    Great video. Just got it last week & wasn't sure how to clean as it's my first firearm. This video is all I needed

      is this your first firearm?! man FANTASTIC CHOICE but also i feel for your gun, is gonna get beaten up af... mine was a colt 1911 and let me tell you i have beaten the $"·$% outta it just because the fact what was my first gun... your choice was excellent because these are pretty roughed and hardened weapons (reason why i chose the 1911 there is no way you can break one of those) i recently purchased the beretta as my 9mm option, i chose it for the size as i have really big hands, also it is my understanding that those are pretty precise shots! so have fun and congrats! use it responsibly

    I'm buying one in about 6 months. I cannot wait, so I keep checking out videos about it, and yours is one that I will definitely watch again when I have it! I just watched through the entire thing and loved your explanations, opinions and experiences. Keep it up!

    I just bought one 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It's definitely a gunfighting gun. It shoots so smoothly and it is accurate. To mount a red dot sight on it, you have to buy an additional mounting bracket. It's well worth the money I paid for it.

      I love that! Being able to add a red dot to such a great pistol is an amazing bonus!!

    Well done video and I agree that this is a very well made pistol that is fun to shoot and can be just as serious as is required. I have had mine for six months or so but have not been able to shoot much, to much stuff going on. Glad I found your channel, enjoy the Beretta.

    I’ve become a big fan of using grease in lieu of oil on most firearm components, especially with the slide rides on or in the frame. You definitely want to consider grease and not oil if you shoot suppressed. You get a lot less backsplash.

    pushing the button and rotating the arm down (to release the slide) on mine is extremely hard. I have to use a dowel or something to push the arm down. not real sure what's causing the binding. bout to head to my gun smith to figure it out.
    $100 later mine is fixed. Gunsmith said the slide release pin and the part it fits into wasn't built correctly. Had to round off the pin and remove some material from the body. Works better, but still nothing like the release you demonstrate at the 3minute mark of the video.
    Anyone else have this on a new weapon ???

    • @jeffofalltrades8489
      @jeffofalltrades8489  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, one of two things. It's a great gun! If you have the money, I'd get this over the 92FS. If you want to save a bit of money, the 92fs will give you everything you want, with exception of the accessory mount and red dot ready. Besides that, it's the same gun as the 92fs. Like with all guns, it's personal preference! Hope that helps

    Thanks. In what instances would you use grease and not oil?

    • @jeffofalltrades8489
      @jeffofalltrades8489  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Grease is only used in older weapons, such as M1 Garand. True grease is WAY too much of an application for a handgun or even a modern rifle
