Louie, I am a 4th generation truck owner/operator plus as a hobby I custom build trucks in all scales have been for over 50 years now and I gotta tell you you did an outstanding job building the former Italeri Ford. These kits are alot of fun and lots of aftermarket goodies for these. Absolutely beautiful paint job.
Thank you!! That means a lot. When I was a kid, 19, I drove an International Loadstar 1700 Box truck. From St. Louis to Indianapolis and back for several years. Extremely slow and noisy. The stupid things we do as kids. 😆
I have to truly admit Louie I love how you took your time and was very meticulous to details on every section of this build you my brother are truly 100% one of very few builders left in this world
Wow!! That’s an excellent comment. I do truly appreciate it. I enjoy what I do. I don’t think I’m the best. There are so really talented people on TH-cam. My good friend over at Chucks hobby spot is an amazing builder. Check out his channel too. He lives not far from me. Happy Modeling
@TheAutisticModeler I so will check him out but you are one of the best and when we are all gone so much will go with all of us the new generations don't know what it's like to use our minds to create a work of art from a vision or thought
All I can say is , Louie when it comes to building model kits, you can walk the walk and talk the talk. That build was amazing. The video was not to long. I enjoyed it immensely. Keep up the good work, which I know you will. Thanks and see you in the next one.😅😊👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I have built this kit almost a year ago now;I bought it using a $100 HobbyTown USA gift card that I had gotten as a Christmas gift;and the total price was $99.96.I went all-out with my build by super detailing my kit using some EverGreen styrene rod for all of the brass hose fittings;and the aluminum injector fuel lines on the engine, scratch built a Cobra CB radio, scratch built a pair of CB radio antennas, scratch built the fuel pump & the aluminum fuel lines which is missing on the engine, and scratch built the dip stick;as the detail on the engine is sparse,so a little bit of scratch building like what I did on my kit, goes a long way. I also used some black 1mm/.039 in. diameter Stretch Magic vinyl bead & jewelry cord to simulate all of the plumbing on the truck;fuel lines, oil lines, air lines, and the pig tails. I did the same level of super detailing with AMT's 1/25 scale Chevy Bison kit,AMT's Mack Cruiseliner cabover,AMT's GMC Astro 95 cabover,Revell U.S.A's 1/25 scale Historical Series Kenworth W900A Aeeodyne, and Moebius Models 1/25 scale Great Dane smoothside 53' Dry van/Reefer Trailer kit to pair up with each of the aformentioned big rig kits for photos.
Wow!! Super detailing!! Once in a while I go all out on a kit. But I enjoy just building a clean kit from the box. Thank you for sharing. Happy Modeling
This went together well, and may give me the incentive I need to resume work on a Revell Kenworth Aerodyne that I've had on hold for a while now. My first experience with heavy duty truck kits was an Italeri model and I must say it was less complicated than the AMT trucks, and I also liked that it was a more modern subject. Would like to see Italeri or another manufacturer rerelease the later Ford Aeromax tractor that I think replaced this.
Absolutely incredible job Louie! I built several Italeri US truck kits back when I was in high school 22 years ago, this Ford LTL 9000 being no exception. Mine was the original 90’s kit and what I did is kit bashed it with an Italeri Ford Aeromax 120 using it’s sleeper and made my LTL 9000 an aerodynamic sleeper version! In addition to the US truck kits, I also built several of the European truck model kits and I still have several in my stash as we speak! These Italeri kits are awesome to build! Very detailed!
Well I watched it all Louie, she looks grand pal, that engine was rather complicated to put together as was the cab/sleeping parts......Turned out beautiful.
I really like your videos and love your enthusiasm. I built this truck a little while back and the cab was a nightmare mainly because I wanted the roof to be removable. Was worth it in the end but I wouldn't do it again! Keep the videos coming 👍
Very nice build Louie, For the cab and sleeper i use small pieces of maskingtape on the outside to line up everything without glue. Then when everything is straight in go in with the glue on the inside. And that engine looks awesome real. You can go all-in detailing that engine. Happy Holidays for You and your family from Spain.. A nice looking Refridgerated trailer behind is would make it realy awesome and complete.
I enjoyed the build as I'm thinking of getting this kit. The only thing that's stopping me from subscribing and watching more of your content is adverts every 8 minutes.
Another fine build Louie. It looks like it could be a little tricky keeping some of the parts aligned/squared -up, so that everything would come together, like the hood, sleeper and cab. Your skill in building these kits, amaze me. The decals did seem to want apply very easily. I'm surprise that none of them tore during application. Great job.
Ford built probably some of the best looking big rigs of all time. This model and the CL 9000 cabover. They also had the WT9000 which was used as the Blue Mule, not the best looking but an iconic truck. Then came the Aeromax era.
Awesome job. Love the color & shine. I think the kit chrome would've looked just fine on the grill & bumper, but that's just me, l still like it. Makes me want to build another big rig & trailer. Thanks for the video buddy 😊
One thing with the Italeri US truck kits a few also issued by both Revell Germany and AMT is that except for the Peterbilt's and Volvo VN they all share the main part of the chassis and drive train wich really is a Freightliner FLC chassis with the Cummins NTC and Fuller trans. So they have a Freightliner FAS Airliner suspension originally made by Stabilaire wich Peterbilt used back in the 60's and this type of suspension is in the AMT 359 California Hauler and 352 Pacemaker kits and it was what Peterbilt used before they did their own Air Leaf suspension in the 70's. The Italeri Freightliner FLD kit has the newer FAS II Airliner suspension otherwise it's the same as the others.
Good afternoon my friend, thst wasvan absolutely outstanding build, congratulations on the great work, do you ever use an airbrush? Best best regards from Australia, Les
Thank you my friend!! I have tried an airbrush, I make too much of a mess with it. I seemed to waste more paint. But that’s been many years ago. I appreciate your support!!
The Ford LTL 9000 will definitely remind me of the old-timer M.A.S.K. Rhino vehicle. Even though it's not a car transportation truck like the way the Transformers Autobot city commander: Ultra Magnus is. Ultra Magnus was definitely supposed to come into the form of the Ford LTL 9000.
Unfortunately, I do not build for others. The shipping and damage are too much to risk. I do appreciate you offering me the opportunity. Happy Modeling

Great looking truck Louie! Always liked this Ford body style. Fantastic build. That paint looks really good. Love your results. Thanks for the review.

Right on!! Those sound really cool!! I appreciate your support. Happy modeling
@@truckerray7533They sure are expensive!
I love your enthusiasm and attention to detail. Makes me want to finish all my old kits just sitting around.

Good job on the Ford truck, chrome is realistic looking with the floor polish.

Well I watched it all Louie, she looks grand pal, that engine was rather complicated to put together as was the cab/sleeping parts......Turned out beautiful.
Thank you!! You and Margaret have great holiday!!
@@TheAutisticModeler Same to you Louie 🎅 Our local model shop has the same kit in stock, it's £120 UK pounds, such crazy high prices in the UK 👎
My wife snagged this one from Amazon on sale. Normally $95.00 got it for $42
@@IanLancI don’t know why but for some reason these Italeri/AMT repackages were very expensive. You can actually pick up the Italeri kits for cheaper.
I'll be watching this later on our TV, better to watch than on my laptop.
Amazing looking Semi !!!! 🙂👍
What an awesome build that looks very very good I like that trick with the Chrome I am going to try that if I may
Thank you!! I’m glad I was able to show you a tip. I appreciate you watching. Happy modeling

Unfortunately I don’t have a way to control that. I do apologize. Be sure to check out other videos. I do appreciate your feedback.
Looks fantastic! I'll be buying mine soon.

Wow what an awesome job! One of these days ill get backninto my model hobby! I havecalot of trucks to build, Thanks for sharing! 😃👍🏻
I never knew that this was a Italeri kit. I built an Italeri Scania kit years ago and it went together very nice.
Sweet build Louie! I've heard big rigs are difficult, so yours turn out great! Nice job 😎👍
This is one of your BEST BUILDS!! Love this one, you knocked it out of the park Louie!!
Thank you!!!

That’s my oldest boy, DJ. He’s a great builder. Just started out on his channel. Thank you for checking him out. Happy Modeling!!
We also need a ROTS Ayla securra and bly and the 327 star corps and we also need some space marines with an at ot
I do not understand anything you friend.
Cool 😊
What I know is that this is the forgotten 18-wheeler/big rig. 😔 😕 😢 😞 😐 😳 😔
If you have the bill Elliot coolers nascar trailer. This is the correct truck
HEY YO, U THOUGHT IT WAZ JEST A SNAP TOGETHER BUILD‼️. 👀💪🏾. 🏁 SUPER 🪽. JET WING‼️. 💥👑😎💯
The Italeri box image had chrome covers over the front wheel hubs. Those small discs were not in the AMT kit?
The artwork did show that, but they are not in that version either. Thank you for watching
Do you take on projects? I have a model that I’d love for you to do!
Unfortunately, I do not build for others. The shipping and damage are too much to risk. I do appreciate you offering me the opportunity. Happy Modeling
ITALERI SOURCED
Yes you’re correct. I mentioned that in my video.
