Hello and Welcome!👋 I'm the Autistic Modeler,
I've been building Model Cars since I was a child. I didn't get my Autism diagnosis, until I was 39. I have always been into Cars. I worked with Cars, selling Parts for over 25 years. Now I am working with Diesel Generators selling Parts.
I'm in a local Model Car Club, with fellow TH-cam Modelers, The Luka Cee Channel, BG's Model Workshop, Chucks Hobby Spot and Scale Model Experiment. I am also friends with, Mark Batson Hobbydude 007, and a few others who have their own TH-cam Channel as well.
Several people said I should start my own channel, so here I am. I want to share my talent with you and raise Autism Awareness & Acceptance. If you enjoy my videos, please 👆 LIKE, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE 🔔 Thank you!

Cool kit. I like the old kits. To bad the hood is damaged.,I'm sure you can fix it though. Thanks for sharing David
great job on the the bonnet whould have like ta see that play in slow moe🤣😎😋
pss love the color would look killer w/yellow clear over or leave it jus the same🤣😂
I got the Pro Shop 72 Chevelle everything comes separate in bags basically any novice could build and pretty much the same kit jus cheaper although you got a bb and I got the 350😁🤩scooter d 😎ps great vid dou thx😂😋😛
I grew up in the '80s, so I love a Fox body Mustang. I saw Chris on HPIGuys Workshop do this as a beater a couple of years ago, and I have also done the Revell LX notchback as a beater, but my aim is to do another Fox body that's either factory fresh or well restored like this one. Would you recommend this over the Revell kit if you've done any of the Revell models? In terms of the interior accessories, the Fox body did begin life in the CB era and by the time it was dropped cell phones were becoming a thing, so it's interesting the kit contains both.
The revell kit is far superior than this one. I highly recommend the revell. I built the police version a few years ago. Thank you for watching
Another great build. You just keep pulling out from times gone by. If I hadn't been a Ford guy, this definitely would have been a choice I would have made,
Killer job on the 72 chevelle bud ❤
Thank you!!
Very well done Louie. Them old kits are fun to build. I'm in the middle of a Oldsmobile 442. My kit was made in the mid 80's. I picked it up a antique store in Dyersville Iowa. The former home of ERTL model company.
Very cool!!
Looks great Louie! Nice color choices.😎
That is one beautiful gold Chevelle Louie! Outstanding work!
Thank you!! Happy Modeling
Nice job Louie! Nice stance for sure.
Thank you 😊
Like the music
Another nice looking build. Thanks!
if i may ask where to get the blue and black stand for working on the chassic stand form
It’s a computer board holder. I got it from Amazon. Thank you for watching. I appreciate your support!!
Awesome build. I'd like to know what glue you are using?
I use several different types. I mainly use Tamiya ultra thin quick set. Thanks for watching
Very nice build Louie Thank you for sharing
Awesome
Hi Louie, now who was a silly person for spilling his paint? I think there is no modeller thst has not spilled either paint or glue, now your buold turned out a absolute stunner, with the colour and those stripes it was Perfect, best regards from Australia, Les
Thank you!!! 😊 I appreciate your support!!
Nice Chevelle! Did you clear the body? Also what black marker was used for front grill?
Yes I cleared it. You must of missed that part I showed. I used 1K Clear. Doesn’t hurt the decals. The paint marker is made by AK #RCM033. Thanks for watching
Another nice build, enjoyed watching the kit come together. What is the name of the games workshop paint that you used? I’ve seen you it on other builds. How many models replaced that model from your stack? Thank for sharing see you in the next video.😊😊
The paint I used is called Typhus corrosion by Citadel. I haven’t bought any to replace it YET. 😉
Great video. I think it's so cool how you build these vintage kits
Thank you!! I really enjoy the old stuff. I buy to build, not for a museum. I appreciate you watching!! Happy Modeling.
Great to see you do the older kits. My problem is I like to pull mine out.... look at them and put it back on the shelf.
Very good.
Nice job awesome Have a good day have fun be safe
Holy that gold colour is awesome, had many a gold car failures in the past.
I always love it when you pull something vintage out of your stash and BUILD it. Whoever molded this had every intention of someone building it. I bet they did not think it would be 50 years later. Great build as always Louie.
I've recently built an ancient Airfix kit......1956 Vickers Wellington, proper old but enjoyable build.
Cool kit, looks like the old Red Alert kit I had when I was a kid. Love your color and wheel choices. Looks awesome 😎
It is the Red Alert kit minus the decals. I built it back in the 70's as a kid, had the same moon rims with sink marks in a couple just like Louie's kit. I still have mine even today, it's tough old kit. I really like the version you built Louie! That gold and tan color combo really works! Who doesn't like the old Rally wheels.
Hot water will fix that huh.i never knew that.how you go about that.
Turn on your hot tap, soak the car body in it. And work the body back into shape. Then hit it with cold water. Thanks for watching!!
@TheAutisticModeler thx never knew that in all these years.
Great build enjoyed your show ❤
Great awesome job Love the color u picked
That looks PERFECT!! Nice job Louie.
Thanks bud!!
Beautiful model. I had a 71 Monte Carlo optioned with the 454, 4 speed and dual exhaust. It started as an SS model. It got horrible gas milage for a kid in college so I traded it off for a 289 Falcon. It was an unsold 68 model with 12 miles on the clock. Both would be worth a bunch now. Heck, just about any car we had back then.......
Nice Job thanks for sharing
Alsome job well done
Louie, in the spirit of educating people on auto parts pronunciation, the word is VAY lans ...... not va LANCE ; (with emphasis on the first syllable not the second). I hope AMT re-releases the '72 Chevelle kit soon. The '70 model year Chevelle SS is my favorite 1:1 car of all time, and I'd like to have a '72 kit sitting beside the '70 AMT kit I already have, waiting to be built.
I appreciate the correction. I have a slight southern accent being from Missouri. I called it that for over 30 years in the automotive parts industry. Pretty much not going to be a change now at almost 50 years old. I thank you for watching.
@@TheAutisticModeler lol, 30 years here working in a Big 3 company engineering; StL Assembly Plant was one of the factories I was responsible for tracking all body parts.
I grew up in St Louis. Worked at all the VW dealers there at one point or another. Heegeman VW in Kirkwood on Manchester Road was my first Vw dealer. It’s now Dean Team VW.
@@TheAutisticModeler When I was younger, I drove a semi. Spent many nights in parking lots around Anheiser-Busch brewery in StL, waiting to get a beer load.
Great job buddy
interesting seeing how all these years the only thing that’s really changed with the molds is the bumpers and slight parts of the body, while the chassis and interior have stayed the same for decades
.99 cents? Bargain! The current release of this kit retails for over $60,00 here in Australia. Great job Louie, looks awesome.
$50 in Canada
@oldmodeler7747 Too much for a 50 year old kit.
Whats the model number i lost my instructions in a hurricane
Thank you for Watching. The kit number is 14552. I hope you and your family are doing well after the hurricane. Prayers my friend.
That's simply awesome Louie 😳 really like the way it looks now that it's ready and you did a fantastic job building it. Well done 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you!!
Thanks for posting this. Went to my grandparents house to help em clean out the place, found this old kit of my dads. He gave it to me to work on, directions were so worn and oil stained you just can’t read it no more. This helped a lot.
Glad I could help!! Happy Modeling
Great build, Louie! I’ve got the Hostess version of this kit, I hope mine comes out as good as yours. That cab came out excellent! Thanks for taking us along for this build.
I appreciate you watching. Happy Modeling!!
Love how this turned out. I've built the flatbed version a few years ago and didn't have any issues either.
Awesome build!
Great job mate👍
I attended trucking school many years ago. The school had an early 70s C600 tractor with an automatic transmission which they used in the yard for practicing with a trailer. Come to find out, it was a former Coca-Cola delivery truck! Fun truck to drive and I utterly fell in love with those old C-Series trucks as a result. There’s a C600 box truck in a storage yard near me. Sure wish I hade a place to put it…
My father’s factory he worked at when I was a kid had these for delivery trucks. They were really old ones too. Duel headlights on them. 58-60 models. I loved seeing them too. So cool
Well done on your Ford C600 Coke truck Louie! It was definitely a joy to watch you build this workhorse! I built the Pepsi version that you have sitting behind you on your shelf. Unfortunately, my decals were bad and they cracked when applying them on the side of the box!
Very cool. My decals on the Pepsi truck were very brittle too. Brand new out of the box. Thank you for watching
Another great build,Louie. I was thinking about buying this kit to turn the box into a stage for live music at outdoor events. But,when I saw the door on the passenger side. I'll have to keep looking.
This build turned out awesome great job.Cheers
Looks good! I worked at a place in high school during the late 90s and they got deliveries from a truck just like that . Next vintage kit you do can you do the AMT ford ranger splash? I have a couple myself id love to see how u do it up.
I think I have a Ranger splash in my vault!! I most definitely will put it in the que!! Thank you for watching
