You said it doesn’t work in bread. I clearly watched you cut the bread with a wooden knife. That’s amazing. It’s not like your at a fancy restaurant. Your eating to enjoy the food and surroundings with you wonderfully made cutlery.
Felix carves a knife with a carved knife. Chuck Norris of Swiss Army Knife Projects 👍🏼 Bester Mann 💪🏼👍🏼🤙🏼 Horrido und ganz liebe Grüße an den Bodensee, Martin 🤠
Felix, thanks for posting this, I like your videos a lot, I've built a roll top breadbox, tv stand and bookcase in my woodshop class in high school 42 years ago, their lasting up to this day. Cheers, Chris
I hope the irony of using a metal knife to carve wooden one is not lost on you. Lol. Im not into wood carving or whittling, but youre absolutely the best instructor, Dr. SAK. Thanks for sharing.
Now I figured out why You put one video per week. It takes me that long to do the same thing You do on the video.. Another excellent tutorial on bushcraft. This moment I will go to find a good Haselnuss branch do try this out!! Thank you Felix!!
now THAT is the way to carve a knife, fork and spoon.. especially the spoon! The knife is brilliant! I was watching a live stream with WC knives and mentioned you in the chat and you got an awesome response.. the general consensus is that "Felix Is The Man" for all us whittlers you are an inspiratin! thanks man keep em coming! oh you do realize we are all going to get new Swiss army knives ...i think you single handedly raise the price of their stock J
Ace! Ace! Ace! 👍Just super great wood carving videos! With the Swiss army pen knife. Good sense of humour and a great laugh!! 😂 I will keep watching and put into practice myself wood carving! Cheers!🍻🍴🥄🥩🥓🍳🥯🧀🍞🥖
"Felixtag"!!
Very nice Felix. I especially like how you made the serration on the cutting edge of the knife. Cutting from both sides makes all the sense. Now I’m sure I will soon have a wooden knife to accompany my wooden spoon. Thank you.
Very creative Felix! No doubt you have mastered many skills that we admire! To accomplish it in a short video was amazing! I need to get your book ordered!
I'm going to be pruning some blackthorn this weekend, I'll keep some to give this project a try. Very dense wood, nice grain pattern, but can be hard work to carve. Might have to resharpen the huntsman a couple of times to get all three done. I like the trick of using the saw to space the serations on the blade.
Wow! What a nice way to eat. You know, Felix; I think you could probably build a small house just using a SAK. You are one very talented fellow. Thanks for the video.
Excellent Felix! The shape and method of carving those serrations and following the grain of the wood was very clever. I thought it would come put crooked but it looked great. I wonder if it would be beneficial to burn the wood with a lighter around the serrated area, it might make it a little more resistant.
What about giving them a quick "hardening burn?" Like how you would burn the end of a long stick you would use to skewer a hot link or a bratwurst before cooking it over a fire? We were always taught to do that with any stick we used for such a purpose... it burns off any impurities you wouldn’t want to consume.... This was sooo cool... I have a bunch of branches that are all piled up for the trash collector to come and take.... lot of ice damage to my oak trees in the back yard.... I think I’m going to go salvage some of those branches to make a couple sets of these! Then, I’m going to teach some of my kid's scout troop how to do this! It will be a fun project!
superb project - bravo Felix. I am really inspired - for most of my Swiss army knife's life (circa 35 years) it has done little more than cut some string and opened a wine bottle but thanks to you its full potential is being revealed. Thank you
Excellent work, Felix! You're a master craftsman. This looks easy to do from the screen of my computer but I know it's not that simple. It takes practice before one can carve a knife, spoon or a fork the way you do (and not take all day to do it). I love my Victorinox knives. Next time I'm outside I'll try to carve a knife like that.
Super Video.
Moin Felix! Okay, I need a cutlery set for 24 person for an upcoming family event. I should start immediately to get it done by December... 😬😉 LG Claus

If I were a recruiter at Victorinox, I would hire you , no doubts. Great Felix!
Thanks a lot Dominic for your feedback!
I’ve seen plenty of carving of spoons and forks, but never a knife. That was a great trick how you carved the serrations. Thanks for the video!
Thanks a lot for your nice feedback!
Me and my brothers really enjoy your videos we all have SAK and often use your techniques with them!! Thank you for the great video 👍🏻
Thanks a lot for visiting my channel!
Absolut authentischer Kanal.

I love it. you can make anything from nature.

Thanks a lot Jim!
Sometimes the hardest wood to carve can give the best results, items that are long-lasting because the wood they are made of is so hard.
Great Felix! First carve the cutlery yourself and then eat a delicious snack in the forest ... enjoy your meal! 🍴🥄🍞🍗👌
Yes, that's perfect!
Your projects never cease to amaze me. Thanks for this great video, Felix.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Echt cool.
Very skilled....it's a brilliant idea....thanks ! 👍

Thanks a lot Nicola!

Super Video.
