For those that came in 5, 4, 3, and 2.....your journey isn't over. Keep in mind there are numerous record labels warching.
They know way before the final who the winner is. Plus 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th- & sometimes 6th already have record & tour deals way before the finals.

The only other coach to have both the winner and runner-up was Blake, who accomplished that _three times_ -- in seasons three, eighteen, and twenty-two. Reba's the second coach to accomplish this, but the first female coach to do so.

Nathan performances from the blind until finale never disappoints!
Nathan should have been the runner up. Looking at all the performances combined, the others couldn’t surpass him. He is an all around amazing performer. His voice is phenomenal.
he was easily the runner up, and the only one of the other 4 close to asher. fact is the next 3 best singers america somehow sent home the elimination prior to this one.

Season 20 Cam Anthony (Team Blake) did not win because of Blake. He has been a phenomenal singer since he was on Showtime at the Apollo in 2018.
@@willicepollard18 congrats but I don’t think he should of won. Great voice but there were others just as good. This season was clear from day one he was absolutely amazing not having to over sing just be his authentic self. I didn’t feel the same for cam.

Bryan already performed professionally with a well known band. He really didn’t need the show or the win. Nathan did and if anything should have been 2nd runner up. Love old soul music but it isn’t contemporary for today’s audience. It was cool how Nathan jumped up and was glad just to be a finalist.

In as much as I liked Niall, Kelly and Blake, I think it’s more practical that they have other coaches cause I believe the fans were voting based on which coach they love. It’s not biased now, I think.

Agreed! Nathan was John's best and only shot at winning and should have been top 3. Asher, Nathan, and Karen were my top 3 favorites of the night in the finale. I felt like I was underwhelmed by Bryan's live performances while Nathan hasn't been underwhelming at all. He was clearly John's favorite and TCO. He gave Bryan bad song choices in the lives while giving Nathan excellent song choices.
I can't believe Nathan was fourth...I mean I've never seen one comment saying Josh should be winner or even on anybody's radar, so that sort of stuns me. Nathan is an amazing entertainer and should go straight to Vegas. Bryan has an awesome voice, but has had some issues with live performances. Karen has a wonderful voice even though I'm not much into country, but she definitely can sing. Congrats to Asher, I'm happy he won! I wish them all success with their future endeavors!🕊💐🕊💐
@@cherylalt101 Agreed! Bryan does have an amazing voice and I think his duet was his best live performances but his solo ones have disappointed me. I loved his duet. Nina Simone has been one of the best vocalists ever. I've noticed that Asher and Nathan always had the most views and likes every week on TH-cam throughout while Bryan had mixed comments about his song choices and his live performances while Nathan was more well received.
I screamed!!! I cried!!! It’s about time that the true “Voice” won!!! This is one of the only times that I’ve been able to watch the show until the end. In the finale, when they showed clips of past seasons with previous coaches and they showed JHud throwing her shoes at some of the performances, I thought, "man, I know if Jennifer was on this season, she'd be throwing EVERYONE'S shoes for Asher's performances, especially Unbreak My Heart." I was ready to throw my shoes for him.😂

I follow the voice on TH-cam, and the only artist I wanted to watch was this guy. Impactful, magnificent, always a pleasure to watch the performances... more than deserving, one of the best winners of this program for sure!

Nathan was a very good all around performer, but his voice was not better nor equal to Asher’s. The show is called “The Voice”!!! However, he did deserve 2nd or 3rd place.

I just watched the blind audition. Chance turned first and immediately. He really wanted Asher on his team and said he thought he’d win it all.

Asher being the winner is definitely one of the most deserved victories. Vocally, he is in a league of his own. I can't imagine how good he would be if he had kept up with singing the 2 years prior to auditioning for the Voice.

Why does it have to be about color? Sometimes the best singer wins, other times they don't. Color shouldn't factor one iota into that.
Besides, it isn't like this show has had a bunch of major successes.
The only winner that has is Cassadee Pope, and then you have Morgan Wallen who was eliminated before getting to the live shows.
The rest get to maybe perform in 1k-3k seat venues and tour all the time to make ends meet.

But consistently, when it comes to voting, best singers have always gone home, suspiciously favoring a certain genre, coach even when we have best singers in the show. But as you said, winning the voice has little to do with future success. All contestants have a chance to better their talents. But then voting is flawed.
I'm in Colombia, and when I saw Asher's blind audition I knew he had something special, that he had to win, and he did. Congratulations, blessings and many successes in this new stage of your life. Good for you Reba!

I believe part of the reason Nathan placed only fourth with his prodigious talent is that the vote for R&B/soul was split between Nathan and Asher. I'm so glad they *both* made it to the finals, and one of them took the title home. FINALLY!
I grew up in Michigan on the music coming out of Motown, and it's in my blood. It has been painful to see R&B artists consistently passed over in favor of country artists. This feels like redemption, and it feels good.
Nathan has been my favorite since Gene went home, because he's as attached to the music I grew up with as I am. He exudes confidence in his abilities and choices, and I have no doubt he will find the perfect place in the industry to have a happy and successful career. Those with eyes to see saw a beautiful transformation in Asher this season. I believe there are no accidents, and I believe Asher needed that win the most. He's going to create something new with his God-given gift. I can't wait to see it. And I'm glad it likely won't be at the cost of seeing Nathan perform on a good-sized stage, too.
