Yes, it will appear as Group Server in main manu. But first, you & your friends must at the same network connection (Mobile hotspot or LAN). And if it not appear, you should check your Left 4 Dead 2 Version, by opening console, and type "version". Make sure it's same as your friends. Hi, sorry for my late response, alright if you want to play add ons campaign LAN, you have to find it's campaign name or it's chapter like this, example sv_lan..... allow_lob........ .... map addon_campaign_chapter01 soon as you type the addons campaign name/ chapter it will shows up. Hi sorry for my late response, You can play, but you need a cracked server or tunneling, like VPN/peer to peer, if you want your friends to join. but I wouldn't recommend it, the performance is pretty bad.

On my friend computer i had to use the 'connect my_computer_ip' command. The 'my_computer_ip' being the host's computer Local IP address.

This is not a 24/7 server, it's just a temporary LAN server, when you close the game, it will shut down the server.

You can play multiplayer from Steam, and if your l4d2 is NoSteam, you can use left 4 dead 2 cracked servers.
