I don't know if it was intentional on the track designer's part, but that part with the water is *brilliant*. It cools down the car, letting the ones with damaged radiators hang in there longer and die in more spectacular fashions.

doesn't help high clearance vehicles like the Roamer though, especially since it runs pretty hot

@@JustAnotherRandomPersonOnline yeah that tiny sip they can get is awesome and the big guys may not get it but i think that balances out the fact that the cars lose there radiator faster then off roaders so it gives more more equal opportunity as long as there not like forced induction its an overall buff to the lower end base cars and some mid end cars
20 minutes long? This episode's going to have some fragile cars.

temp gauge goes to zero when you drive thru water
The W-series took a pretty good clonk on the big jump, and when it bananana'd, the driveshaft split.
The little French machine got frightened by that last jump and forgot that "tuck and roll" is for humans, not hatchbacks. A fittingly French finish.
As for the bouncy, bouncy Roamer, how could you tell the steering was off? The front wheels spent most of time in the air, tripoding!
Then, it decided to make that a feature, rather than a bug, and, well... I'm surprised it channelled its inner Reliant so well, actually.

That AWD Roamer was absolutely spectacular. I love this series.
If anyone ever asks what Failrace is about just show them a video of a little Citroen skidding across the finish line.. on its roof.

I love seeing the off-roaders, I’d recommend the LKS prerunner and the hopper crawler in the future.
some of the lks variants are near indestructable tho

Another great one. One question though, what happened to the "Gone in 60 minutes" video for this month. Two videos each month I look forward to, Survive the Hunt and Gone in 60 Minutes.
I think he missed some videos on TH-cam for a little while, I think he tweeted the reason why on the day of the missed videos
Gone in 48 Minutes is something planned by the community, and we've been waiting for Alex to get back into a more stable filming schedule than what has happened the part few weeks
And there is never a guaranteed Gone in 48 Minutes each month.

I’d love to see some automation vehicles, driven till destruction. I think you did something similar before with automation vehicles around a track but not intentionally driven until destruction
The damage on automation vehicles is unspectacular, to say the least :|
EvilMcSheep the damage doesn’t need to be spectacular, as long as vehicles can still be destroyed by the track.
I was just thinking some community involvement, and people could try and tailor their vehicles to survive longer with a broken radiator, better suspension etc, or be ridiculous and set a blazing, quarter of a lap, before it gets stacked into a tree and catches fire
@@Dust76tr I agree that there's space for very creative designs, but for actually using these vehicles, I don't see much fun in the destruction of what are effectively upscaled foil-coated plasticine toys.

The citroen c2’s are really fun to drive irl, they even have some oversteer
I give that second car a D on longevity, but an easy A for that finish.

u should do a driven till destruction at night time so like u don't know where ur going unless the head lights are still working but u don't have to count it it can just be a mini game I guess

Past the line in true failrace fashion
You really need to watch when you go for a jump make sure your not steering. If you hit the ground with the wheels turned it is far more likely to screw up front axles, collapse a suspension, and collapse wheels.
The temperature gauge shows a blip when the coolant temperature passes 50 Celsius; a fuzzier indicator is the "cold" exhaust smoke on some cars, which disappears when oil or coolant hit 65C.
the offroad independent suspension on the d-series , h-series and roamer is actually weaker than the stock independent suspension
Is there any way to mod in a Toyota Hilux for this? An 'Indestructible Hilux' run could be interesting.
There is a "Hilux" mod, but it's just a D-Series with different parts.

I will say that as soon as you said raised suspension and chunky wheels, I fully expected said wheels to go flying at some point - and they did.

The Bitron's fuel tank used to be really weak, I figured it would burst into flames like it did in the Endurodrome.
The right front axle on the roamer broke because it landed on the front right side
Old mercs have a reputation for being quite solid so the W series surprised me. I would like to suggest an episode of Miramar Vs caldera at some point just as a clash of the destruction circuit legends.

ZebraShark 173 uhhh that is definitely wrong. plenty of cars have rear mounted radiators. They’re rarer. but there are still a good few
Would it be possible for you to run a “custom” roamer, one that is similar to my land cruiser, essentially just the roamer but less power and solid front axle
Hey, the mercedes isnt a w series. It's an E class but the pre facelift versions didnt use the E branding. The w124 is just the model code. The model you used isnt that accurate but it doesnt really matter.

Probably indefinitely, barring high (sun) gravity and "warps" from a high place to the ground, that thing is nigh on unkillable (I also think it doesn't run out of fuel, I could be wrong.)
I miss the Endurodrome. It felt more like an actual circuit, Proving Grounds is trying too hard, I think. Especially the spinny things.
FR it would be awesome if you brought back survive the hunt in FH4.
Or maybe you could bring back the random challenges you uses to do like car bowling on the lake in winter or bulldog.

The way the off-road trucks are setup it puts a lot of force on the model where the wheels attach and I don't think Beam NG Drive has any form of strength upgrades you can add there like you could IRL.

You should try putting various versions of a car to see what happens. Like the rally sunburst, and a speed one, and a standard one kinda deal

I love this series and this track but i truly hate the spinners because then the chance of driver error and the car can be destroyed because bad luck or something

For the first car the temperature was high but the water cooled it down
