I just bought a Rlaarlo AK 787. Just found out that it is a DumboRC X6PM radio setup. The car has lights and DumboRC has a receiver that has the led controls built in. My version of the car doesnt have controls for the turn signals and brakes. They stay on. With some re wiring i can get it to work now with the DumboRC receiver. Thanks for the binding video.

Hello, you explained the video well for a starter like myself. But I have a question, I bought this transmitter. But my car has an ESC/RECEIVER combo (HBX 16889). So I need to purchase a separate esc. But on the website it also says you need some kind of program card??? Do I still need that if I got this transmitter? Sorry for long question.
A programming card is something you can plug your ESC into to set up the settings. With a lot of ESCs, you can set up the settings without using one by listening to beeps and pressing buttons. Each ESC brand would have its own programming card you could purchase separately if needed. I think it might be a challenge fitting an ESC and the Dumbo X6FG receiver on a 1/16th scale car, but I would love to see it if you do make it work. Let me know!

I would suspect your car came with a brushed motor but you would have to check your manual. A quick search on amazon for "esc brushed 1/16" brings up some options. The program card would need to work with the esc you buy. So if you are going Aliexpress you never know what exactly you will get vs if you went with a name brand you know they would work together. Then again if you buy an esc that you can program without a card that is fine too. And you may not even need to program it at all if you just want the basic settings.

Bro. I been trying to figure out why nothing works. Once you said black wire in right. It worked. That was my first question since this is my first RC. We are not dumb dumbs. But orientation matters. The more spins forward or back that’s just swapping motor wires.
After 2 years or so my receiver wasn't responding, pressing the button reset the thing from Orange to Green Orange being gyro on green is off. But now the button doesn't even want to do any thing any thoughts or pointers? Everything was working great until, well that's just it nothing happened it was out of nowhere

If your transmitter light is blinking you could need to just replace the batteries. Try a fresh set of good-quality batteries and see if that resolves it.
A gyro receiver stops the RC car from spinning by making adjustments to its steering so it can move in the direction you want it to. The more throttle you give, the greater the disbalance between the front and rear of the car; the gyro receiver counter steers the RC car. The gyro receiver keeps the RC car’s tires aligned in the direction you choose; regardless of the track traction and external force, the gyro precisely maintains the direction you set the car to move in. Basically, if you are about to spin out from a sharp turn or gunning it in rough terrain the gyro adjusts the steering for you to keep you going straight. I personally turn it on and just the channel 6 knob to adjust its intensity. You can set it to 0% on the knob to disable it (practicing for a race maybe). Or set it higher if you are just having fun and want to gun it without worrying about it. Just a quick note if you set the gyro too high you might see odd behavior like twitching.

The strangest thing. The red version is no longer produced. The supplier told me that China made a new rule and red was no longer allowed (this was quite awhile ago at this point).
I would think that is very dependent on which car you are installing it into. Mine has a tube where it runs through. I think I would just run the wire how your original receiver had it.

Hi, I did a little searching around and I think you have to have a different receiver to use this radio with a nitro car. I found the DumboRC X6YCG receiver is advertised for Nitro but I am not 100% sure how it differs or how to wire that. Sorry I could not be of more help.
I just installed this system and the receiver binding button just fell right off. I simply tried pressing it in with some tweezers and it fell right off, barely any pressure. I could feel the button click right before it broke off, so the amount of pressure to simply press in the button, was enough to break the switch right off. Well, another ones on the way. At only $18, why not try again. Sure am hoping the next one isn't a total piece of garbage. Get what you pay for, I guess🤷🙄

You do not need to change the servo. You will just replace the receiver.

Which X6 transmitter is this? None of the Dumbo X6 I see around has this red painting

Green means that it is normal mode (non-gyro). Press the button 3 times to make it gyro mode.
