I just connected this receiver and the reverse throttle seems to be way more powerful than the forward throttle? Is the receiver/transmitter the problem, or is is the esc/motor, or do you think reverse throttle is always stronger?
Reverse the Throttle switch and recheck! If that doesn’t work then reverse two of three wires connections from ESC to the motor. Forward should have more punch and top speed than reverse.
What should the light do on the top of the transmitter? Shout it stay constant? Mine keeps switching blue/light blue. Doesn't always stay fixed dark blue.

It came out in 2017 and apparently some genius thought it was a good idea to put out an RC that is controlled only by a specific app. That app is no longer available. I’ve been doing some research on it because I thought about purchasing one second hand. But I’ve discovered that you need to have the app to use it. Probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Just wondered if it could be converted to a traditional RC.

This particular RC shares a WiFi connection with the tablet app. So I don’t know if that’s a whole other thing or just a different type of connection. Thanks again.
Yes that’s right. A receiver is binded with a transmitter just like anyother RC, difference here is that the receiver takes in the input from both ESC and servo (steering) which is then controlled through Transmitter.
My receiver does not want to connect. I don't know why, but it keeps blinking red. I'm trying to press the bind button but nothing happens. I am using an Amewi 2.6 ghz 4ch transmitter and a 6ch FM from TW. I'm glad if you could help!
If it’s blinking red that might be a sign of receiver having some internal issue! It will not pair like that. I’d suggest trying another receiver (with same frequency) that matches with transmitter!
I have a problem with my rc car. I bought a replacement for my HPI E10's transmitter. The old one having a problem. When I bought a new Dumborc X6F like yours, after 1 and a half years of use. Why this transmitter stops working? It Binds perfectly but, my car does not move or steer. This problem is becoming consistent. I know how to bind the transmitter but, after a year or 2 they just don't work anymore. Is this a common Transmitter failure? Or, the transmitter only lasted for 2 years as it designed? Is your controller lasted longer than mine? What is wrong with my E10 HPI? My car have no corrosion, no damages, nothing visible damage at all. Even the chassis in prestine condition. I used to play a lot with my rc e10 about 3 hours a day. But I never driven it too fast or crash it. Is it normal to replace the RC transmitter and receiver ONCE a year? I'm not wasting 30 dollars every 2 years... especially with this reason again, It just have consistent SAME problem AURGHHH!
Mine’s working perfectly but the one I use the most is X6FG. So far I had no issues with it so may be u can try a gyro one and set it to minimum if you don’t use it! Or else, go for Spektrum radio as it might cost you for once but they are known for good relaibility!

Doesn’t matter which one you go for. As far it goes for the motor, the three wires are interchangable as long as it’s sensor less motor! For sensored you can’t do that. However, on the receiver side one pin is always extra since all you need is +-!! If it’s not working on one combination then just move the pins from 1-2 to 2-3. If you still find it hard to understand you can let me know.

Hey, just bonded the receiver , the steering worked but as soon as I try throttle it reverses at full speed? Had this issue before and couldn’t solve it. Any idea on how to fix this problem?
@@thatrcguy26 thanks dude! Didn’t actually do this but I was fiddling around with the binding and it eventually worked I zeroed everything out on the transmitter (th and st trim) and It worked. I’ll realign the steering trim from there

So If I have one transmitter set up with lets say 3 cars, do I need to do this process every time I want to use a car or does it auto connect when I turn on the car?? (I'm not planning to use all 3 at the same time btw.)
Depends on the transmitter binding capacity. Most of the transmitters can take more than one receivers and once they are binded you don’t have to repeat the process again.

This means your transmitter batteries are getting weak and should be replaced soon otherwise the light remain constant.

It’s not a gyro issue as I’m using another one without G and it’s working fine. It might be your servo.

Usually Toy Rc’s doesn’t come with ESC or BLX motor so the connectors might be different! If the connectors are same you can give it a try.

Without a receiver you won’t be abel to run the esc and motor! Buy any suitable one and pair the TX and RX together.

Check your transmitter. There will be an option for throttle switch reverse! Flip it.

Dumbo Transmitter takes upto six receiver at a time. If X6DCG is similar to X6FG receiver then it should bind up without any issue.

The transmitter can take multiple receiver at the same time. No need to unbind, put the new receiver in pair it to the same transmitter again.

Switch the connections on your receiver. Channel 1 for Servo and Channel 2 for ESC and then try again.
