No it wasn't, Spencer was in denial and as any addict would thought it wasn't a big deal, and you can see how the drugs were messing with her head, she wasn't going to get help, and who better to try to talk to her then the people she trusts and are concerned for her. They even acknowledged in the scene over and over again how they understand she feels cornered but were assuring her they were only doing it for her well being and they were concerned. What were they supposed to do? Nothing so she can continue ruining herself? Like I said before she didn't think it was a problem, the girl was not going to get help herself, times like this you needs friends like this who push you to see how you're really not ok so you don't do further damage. She was mad at the moment, no doubt though later on she thanked them for preventing her from going in a deeper path of darkness she was already heading towards. I would do this for my friend, sorry not sorry.

Everyone stating that the girls took the wrong direction of helping Spencer and while it's true you forget that they're teenagers and they don't know better of how to handle such situations. No one in our 16-eens would know better.
The whole “they don’t know any better” is quite annoying when this isn’t young children lol. They have been friends for a very long time and have been getting traumatized together for a long time . They should know the difference of cornering someone and trying to help someone with their issues and making sure they’re ok without looking at them crazy.
