    I would probably modify this method a tad. I'd leave the bills money in the bank since everything is on auto pay and only take out the cash for variable expenses for shopping categories such as groceries.

      Remember, she said to wait on that binder until you have a months worth of bills saved, then switch all your bills to come out of bank account on the first of the month. Then you aren’t making a bunch of trips to the bank. Just to withdraw to get the cash, and then a trip to deposit the bills cash before the 1st

    You are the first Etsy Shop owner who is so transparent as to tell newbies the cheapest way to start may not be immediately buying from your shop😁😁. I also liked the way you explain the beginning of going cash budget is not as smooth as it looks if you only watch people who have been doing a cash budget for awhile. I'm still working on transitioning. My Kryptonite is grocery shopping and cooking for one vs Spending more on delivery for one freaking meal (and of course using my debit card). You provided the perfect solution - that money can go to sinking funds or challenges.

I only got my binders recently after budgeting for over a year! Great break down!

      @JordanBudgets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Z! I've never had an issue with it or worried much about it until recently. Now that I'm on TH-cam I'm a little more conscious about it. I do recommend everyone have a small safe tucked away where no one knows where it is. Or put it in a very large safe that cannot be moved or tampered with. Now that my bills are higher, I've stopped cash stuffing bills binders.. primarily to get that $2,000 out of the house. I do move that money to a separate account that I cannot easily access/spend. As for my sinking funds and savings challenges, I'm not someone who does large cash stuffings so overall I don't have THAT much money sitting around. As David said, it's a good idea to have placeholder money if you are cash stuffing large amounts. I'm not at that point in life, ahaha, but when I am, I would trade out real $100s for placeholder $100s. I hope this helps! ❤️❤️❤️

    Your video makes the most sense, of any; of this type; I've seen. When this type of budgeting first came to my attention, it didn't make sense to me. Then I began to think that money in the bank doesn't seem real; much like the available balance on a credit card. You don't see it, you don't touch it, you don't have to pull it out of your wallet, to spend it. Therefore, it doesn't exist in a real world way. I remember when people cashed their paycheck and drove around and paid their bills, and people weren't in debt like they are now.

    Thank you for being so informative. You are one of the TH-camrs that gave me the courage to start my own Cash Stuffing channel to document my cash stuffing journey. I am jealous of your Amazon though. Australian Amazon is so expensive. For example, for my first binder and envelopes cost me $30 and it took 2 weeks to arrive.I

    what about fake money. one problem i see is its a ton of cash to have laying around the house. i would promote keeping the money in your checking account and put fake cash in the sleeves.

    All this is very interesting I’m just wondering wouldn’t someone be scared having all their money in binders if they were to get robbed? I live by the 50/30/20 rule, it’s just easier for me to bulk things together rather then everything individual, but ultimately it’s the same concept. Either way this is very interesting and entertaining nice video 🙂

    I am very new at this and I learned a lot from your video thank you for that. My questions is I get paid twice a month, I am trying to figure out how to pay the bills that come out on my pay day and how to take money out of the bank to stuff money. We usually have enough money to get through the month but I want to be able to save money and at some point be a month ahead. What are your thoughts on that?

    Hello! I plan on starting this cash budgeting system and I'm very very very new to it 😅 I have a couple of questions I would like to ask 😄
    1. So in the first month we shouldn't save up for bills and variable expenses and should log our expenses for a whole month? I was kinda confused so I needed to make sure 😆 also, in the first month of the budgeting system, do you also suggest not starting our sinking fund and savings challenges?
    2. Is it really needed to take the money out of the bank or not put it in afterward? I was thinking that it's beneficial to put it in a savings account so that it'd grow. 😅
    I think those are the questions I currently have. I'll be back if I have more tho! 😁 I hope you see this 🤗

    Does anyone know if an app/digital version of cash stuffing exists? I feel like this saving concept would work out really well for me, but I'm nervous about keeping so much cash at home/in my bag and I live in an area where a few stores I frequent don't even accept cash anymore. My income also comes from a variety of online streams that would take extra time to consolidate in a bank. (My bank is also completely digital 🥲)

    Cash budget works as hell😂. I leave the money for all bills plus 100 pound extra in my account and take out the other cash. Mak3s budget and saves alot. It works as magic. I sometimes zip my wallet and return home. It is like my wallet tells me no way lady that u would want to spend me on some extra cloth and make up and drinks. Sometimes my husband even asks how do i save from grocery money which isnt again much and i tell him my wallet told me do not spend him on extra stuff😂😂. I paid my student loan which was 3000 pound and i also paid my 5 years water bill which was about due and paid 2230 and now 120 is left. All thanks to cash budget. Good luck ladies and gentlemen
