Chris isn't lucky, he's worked hard. Amy worked hard too. That's what Tammy hasn't done and doesn't understand. This is something you can't expect everyone else to do for you. Until she faces and accepts that she will never even start this journey.

Nope. It shows how dysfunctional she is and what an enabler she is. And no way I'm hell would I sit there and let anyone speak to me like that. Especially someone who can't take care of themselves and relies on me for everything. I would say goodbye and so long. Call me when you are a decent person. I also would have knocked her over on her back and left her there a long time ago.
I do believe they love Tammy BUT it does just seem like they take the easy way out of every situation with her. The easy way of dealing with Tammy is just giving in to her. Tough love is hard even though it’s better.
When a loved one is an addict, yes, you have to believe that..because try as you might, sometimes it doesn't change anything. The burden is watching your loved one slowly die!

I think the same way no doubt. Unfortunately, Tammy has been on life support& has been in a coma, TWICE. While that would normally be rock bottom (truly scared)for anyone, apparently, that wasn't enough for Tammy. It infuriates me because I've been in their shoes and I had my own scare,my rock bottom 22 years ago. I was 18 and terrified that I would have a heart attack, so I had a gastric bypass in 2001. I know why Tammy isn't doing anything, she's scared of the pain. It is extremely painful to get up, go&do anything important even if there's a wheelchair or walker involved. I don't feel sorry for Tammy, NOT ONE BIT, but I understand the situation. If she doesn't stop behaving like a toddler&push through the pain, she'll be dead. She's basically committing suicide slowly🥺
Addiction is real. The addiction is stronger than her will, but please don’t insinuate that Tammy doesn’t want to lose weight, of course she does. It’s a sad situation. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. This is an old episode. Tammy is actually back in a residential rehab. She has a tracheotomy to help her breathe and is trying to do what the doctors say.

I’ve seen people who been addicted to their own things & thought the impossible wasn’t gonna happen, happen. Tammy wants to lose weight yeah but she don’t want to put in the work. She uses everything as an excuse! “I couldn’t do my diet because my boyfriend & I broke up .. & he harassed me” . She even told her own doctor that her life is NOT her priority & she didn’t even bother to open the book or anything to help her get started. You can see Amy being pregnant & keeping her weight balanced while taking care of her 645 pound sister when it’s not her job. She knows things are hard & she’s stressing out with her baby because of Tammy being the top issue on not wanting to lose weight. Amy had her wake up call & realized she wanted a family so she lost the weight & made it happen. & now she’s trying even more to keep losing weight & make goals happen no matter how depressed she is
Amy is the definition of an angel. She’s trying and Tammy just doesn’t care enough. Amy deserves the world, she just seems to be so caring and she knows she can’t do anything to help Tammy which sucks.
Good for Tammy..I'm so tired of people judging and dogging her . If you haven't been there you can't understand how hard it is. Try changing your diet even if you're 200lbs and see how hard it is. Do ppl realize how many ppl that's 200lbs have high blood pressure and diabetes and heart disease.. ALL from what they've been eating and putting in the bodies . I know personally. I worked at a school where there's 15yr old kids literally 150 lbs with diabetes and high blood pressure. So it's not always overweight people who are eating dangerous.
Tammy has lost a 120lbs . Idk when this episode came out but tammy recently has lost weight. Do ppl realize these episodes have been taped a month or so earlier maybe even 2 months.

Exactly. I have a sister like that (not huge but attitude wise) and I don't be around her. I tell her hey and ask how she's doing but thats it. I don't hold conversation with her because I'm not allowing her to drain me emotionally. I love her but I'm choosing my peace. Some people see it as being cold and selfish. I see it as self care. 😊

@@I.am.Mrs.Mathers exactly. It baffles me when people say oh thats your sister (or any family member). Yall need to make up. I have tried 100s of times over the years to "make up". She always goes back to being that way. I try to explain stress is a killer. I am an empath and very sensitive. I don't like being around negative energy. I often told my mother that my siblings and my dad would unalive her because of the stress she would put up with from them. She died last year. She got sick and deteriorated really quickly. I blame the stress. And no it wasn't covid. She had 3 different cancers. And I fault them partially for it. I fault her mainly for thinking she had to put up with it because it was her kids and husband. People think I'm stuck up because I like being by myself. But its really that I like my peace and people tend to disturb it. Sorry that turned into a longer rant than I anticipated lol.

Before her luggage is even unpacked, she was on the phone ordering the first 4 cheeseburger meals to be delivered. All while Amy and Michael are bringing in her luggage and unpacking her stuff/rearranging her living room and bedroom areas. Since she’s bed bound now, Tammy ordered Michael to move her TV into her bedroom cause she can’t get to the living room anymore. When the ambulance came to get her for her breathing/carbon dioxide poisoning issues, EMS almost couldn’t get her through the door cause she ballooned so big. It took 22 FIREFIGHTERS to get her out, they even had to grease the front door to slide her out. Amy also said she and Michael have to take turns bathing her with a bucket and sponge now on top of all the catheter and diaper changing. Amy also said she is committed to rehab this time and can’t leave early because her patient file has Tammy listed as a clear and present danger to herself (Bakers Act). Amy said Tammy screams at the staff to bring her junk food but they refuse, thankfully.
Tammy doesn’t even understand how insane it is to gain weight that fast… and she barks at anyone who tried to tell her the truth. Watching her blame Amy immediately every time is so painful. Honestly, what would help her most is being cut off from her family, being forced to figure it out alone.
I don't think it's regular weight anymore. For such rapid substantial gains, I think it's fluid accumulation -- possible sign of heart failure starting. I also can't imagine how much waste her bowels are holding on to (but that's nothing new). I just... This has to be early death starting, with vital organs failing to properly function anymore.
yeah… i panicked when i lost five pounds (currently 91 lbs when i should be around 125… that’s an over thirty pound difference) unfortunately i keep losing weight due to stress and minimal access to food during school. And i know that it’s my fault and if i chose not to take all of these classes i wouldn’t be so stressed, but it’s a risk i am going to take. tammy is so gd lazy and privelaged. being overweight is a privelage- it means you have enough food to have excess weight. people die of starvation, and tammy over here weighs about six of them. and then she calls the hard workers lucky.

I did the calculation last time I saw this clip and she has to be eating over 10k calories a day for this to happen. I hope she's over eating because like someone else said, it could possibly be the beginning of heart failure and that's going to greatly hinder her likelihood of weight loss surgery.
My dad is a bad alcoholic and his addiction is similar to Tammy's food addiction. It took me a long time to figure out that you can't force them to stop. Tammy has to want to get better and she's not there yet. As much as her family wants to, they can't force her to change, Tammy has to do that herself.
I can’t express how much I would genuinely LOVE to see Amy continue her weight loss journey and just completely turn her life around for herself and her baby and be the the best, active momma out there. chase that success!!

I feel the family should begin distancing themselves from Tammy right now. Physically and emotionally. She’s not only too abusive and toxic to be around now but they love her so much that when she dies, it’s going to devastate them. And she WILL die in the next 5 years. That is a confirmation at this rate she’s going. It’s best for them to just lose the bond now.
I can agree but you must understand that when tammy dies (which WILL HAPPEN SOON due to her obesity) there is a lot of guilt that will surround it. Even if it was tammys choice to not eat better and exercise/lose the weight. its very very hard. The family members are emotionally kidnapped at this point. They'd rather do their best even though she'll die than to distance themselves and her dying (due to her own choices). the latter will just cause a lot of emotional problems. I've seen this happen sadly with drug addicts that were beyond help. the feeling of guilt of someone dying is def there if you decide to distance yourself. even if your choice didnt change much.
I feel the whole family is already doing EXACTLY that. Amy is focusing on her emidiet family, Chris is doing the same, the rest of the family isn't sticking around to take Tammys attitude either. Staying morbidly obese and dependent is how Tammy kept people around, trying to push down her issues with food. She is terribly afraid but to stuborn to open up on her issues and fears. She is in a clinic right now I believe, so will see if she maybe finally gets her ducks in a row.
Wish I could say that distancing yourself emotionally from addicts you love makes it less painful when they die, but it doesn’t. 😔 It still hurts just as bad and you imagine what it would be like if they did turn their lives around and change. But then again towards the end it’s like they’ve died while they’re still alive. Unfortunately the pain of addiction can linger long after someone’s death.

I hate to hear Amy faulting herself because of Tammy's addiction. She has to get it in her head and heart that this is not a death sentence unless..... You can hear Amy’s voice when she says "I don’t wanna bury my sister… but it might come down to that." Amy deeply cares about her sister but with her 6 month pregnancy she wonders if she’ll have any more time to help her sister because of how long it’s been. Tammy is choosing the wrong path so it’s good Amy is realizing that she needs to loose the weight even if leaving her sister has to be left behind. Love to Amy 💙
I just wish Tammy’s family knew that there’s nothing more they could do. They fear she won’t feel supported but they’ve supported her more than most people would have. They’re an amazing family, I hope I’m lucky enough that my siblings care for me like they do for Tammy someday, but it isn’t their job and Tammy needs to learn that SHE has to lose the weight, not anyone else. When asked what she needs to be successful, all she could come up with is what her sister needs to do for her. That’s just ridiculous. She definitely needs to be in an assisted living because she clearly cannot make decisions on how to care for herself properly.

I started out watching this giggling.. I'll be honest, Amy is a inspiration. She's a Great Mum to Her Child & Sister.. I HATE seeing Tammy moan and whine about sitting eating and demanding that others do EVERYTHING for Her!.
The sad thing is that this video is over a year old. Baby Gage is 11 months or more, and Amy is pregnant again. Her and Michael have moved, Chris has had his surgery, and they're all moving on with their lives but Tammy is stuck. She's still making bad choices, and her family, despite wanting to help her, need to give up. Loving an addict is hard. Being an addict is hard. I feel for all of them in this situation, but Tammy has proven time and time again that she isn't going to change. Eventually, they're gonna need to throw in the towel.

I can’t imagine the pain of seeing a loved one do this to themselves and having tried everything to help them. At the same time they need to realize she’s her own person and can’t continue to help when she won’t help herself.
Amy is so sweet. It's so sad she actually has to consider that she may have to burry her sister one day if she doesn't change. Tammy needs to act her age and change her ways so she can live and long and healthy life with the rest of her siblings and to watch her nephew grow up. I wish them both the best.
I've been overweight all of my 20's and most of my 30's. At 37 I started really implementing changes. Small changes. Very gradual. Over a 5 year period; I'm 42 right now, I went from 250 to 170. I know Its hard. I KNOW! Tammy NEEDS mental health counseling, and to fix what's inside before she can even make a successful attempt to fix what is outside.

Before my grandpa died, he was in a similar situation as Tammy's: morbidly obese, toxic toward his family, disregarded his health, ate whatever he wanted. Even my mom described it as him "eating himself to death." Unless something changes now, Tammy's going to end up the same way.

@@YourGraceMyLady It’s similar to how people drown their sorrows in alcohol. They eat to cope with unpleasant feelings, and it feels so good that they crave it more and more while their bodies get bigger and sicker. My grandpa got his toes amputated from Type 2 Diabetes before he died.
Amy looks amazing . Even with a second baby on the way she still looks amazing and happy and has moving alot. She isn't gaining weight all that much but she is doing amazing

And has posted to her Instagram and other social media that she hasn't gained it lost weight and is able to keep her weight at a certain number but I believe Amy plans on losing more weight after baby number 2 is here. :)

It’s time for these siblings to realize their own peace is more important than continuing to allow Tammie’s abuse. They made the effort for their own bodies and health . Tammy only makes excuses and then is horribly mean to everyone trying to help her . They cannot help someone who doesn’t want to be helped though. I feel like if no one helped her she would HAVE to get up and walk. SHE WOULD HAVE to go buy her own food. Would she lose weight ? Probably not but she would be forced to be more independent atleast.
She doesn’t like the meal delivery service, and she doesn’t like the electric wheel chair. What she likes is literally burderning her family with her weight? Tammy come on, it’s getting ridiculous- everyone is worried but no body can help if she doesn’t wanna put in the work.

Tammy is 34 years old, no one is responsible for her. She's been getting a lot more help than she deserves, and if she can't do it with all the help she's already getting, she'll never do it. As an adult you're supposed to help yourself or seek help, but Tammy ain't doing either, instead she pushes everyone that's helping her away. Like why be so rude about everything? Those Shirts Amy and Michael had were a bit cheesy, but can't you be happy for them just once? I think jealousy is a big problem, she hates that everyone is doing better than her
Amy is sooo kind hearted and f---king hilarious! My sister's hurt me so badly that I divorced them ( they don't even catch on 😳) and cut off all contact with them. Anyhow I'd love to have Amy for a sister or Tammy or Misty. It's about the way they love each other don't act better than and their ride or die commitment to their siblings that gets me. They really stick together and that I admire. Also can't neglect to mention Chris. What an incredible kind funny loving brother. Somehow this broken family is absolutely not broken about loving each other .💜
I literally started to cry a little bit at 8:40 because I couldn’t just imagine having to bury my sibling because they’re overeating themself to death while I was trying to take care of them so much that that won’t happen… I’m praying for Tammy
Looking back on this now after Chris has had weight loss surgery you can really see how far he came. He put in the effort, did what he was supposed to do, and lost the weight. He never lost motivation and he wasn’t just “lucky.” He put it so much effort to get to where he is, it’s not luck
Tammy loves the attention , and I don't think that she will change. The fact that Amy is still trying to help her just shows what a good person she is.
My grandmother was like this and she refused to lose weight and died because of it. I hope she gets it together before it's too late. Very sad situation.

I read that she is officially a "ward of the state" and has been placed in a long term facility i.e. nursing home. There is no need for her being in a assisted living facility because there you have to "assist" in your care.... She is slowly killing her self, now she has a tracheotomy because she has to learn how to breathe through that to help her lungs....its just a matter of time before she dies from her own doing, just pray she doesn't experience a different kind of suffering where its a long suffering.
@@karinhenry1451 as a CNA whose worked at an assisted and hospice facility, youre so right. Tammy is NOT in a position for assisted living. She's not independent enough at ALL. I can see her in a hospice situation, though. Turned and changed every 4 hours, like someone who is brain dead. She wouldn't even be able to go from bed to wheelchair, because who could lift her? Even lifting machines have weight limits!!! The hoyer we used was 450 lbs or less! In the hospice facility I worked, we would put the TV on and point it towards the bed for patients like this. I used to bring them little snacks like a cup of applesauce with sprinkles, or I'd warm up a chocolate ensure and call it "hot chocolate" because at that point, every drop of joy is precious. None of the patients I cared for lived longer than 5 months once bed-to-chair was taken off their care chart. Tammy doesn't realize how close she'll be to dying once she stops being able to get herself outta bed. Its truly the end for most.
She showed that when she w anted Amy to not get surgery and wait for Tammy to do it. Selfish. This is older ep but the show is too much around Tammy I don't care, she ruins every happy moment Amy has. They too tho need to stop pushing her on her chair, wheel herself or stay home, enough. No consequences to her they bring her places break their back to do it and she ruins it and never any man ers or a thank you. Enough of her they need to get healthy themselves and Amy/Mike need to be healthy to look after their kids which they can't if he's in traction pushing her 700 lb negative ass around. @@extrules yea she def is in that setting and a nice staff member is brushing & doing her hair, she has braids pigtails n stuff. I feel for the staff. Tammy basically lays around in a big bed al day making tik tok vids. She did same on their vacation took a fit so she could go to hotel and sit and make stupid faces on repeat to tik tok. I can't imagine the amount of money daily its costing to keep her. She outright said too that she don't give a f k bout her health. So hopefully the fam looks after themselves and staff doesn't break anything giving her care.

It really cant. Not only does she have a long list of health problems that are getting worse, she also would already be dead if not for the intervention of others. If left to her own devices she wouldve been unable to go anywhere or do anything to care for herself. When she got sick and went on life support she wouldve died at home if not for her family.

Her organs will give out eventually but just seeing how big she is and the fact she is still breathing really does show how amazing the human body is

I think the same way no doubt. Unfortunately, Tammy has been on life support& has been in a coma, TWICE. While that would normally be rock bottom (truly scared)for anyone, apparently, that wasn't enough for Tammy. It infuriates me because I've been in their shoes and I had my own scare,my rock bottom 22 years ago. I was 18 and terrified that I would have a heart attack, so I had a gastric bypass in 2001. I know why Tammy isn't doing anything, she's scared of the pain. It is extremely painful to get up, go&do anything important even if there's a wheelchair or walker involved. I don't feel sorry for Tammy, NOT ONE BIT, but I understand the situation. If she doesn't stop behaving like a toddler&push through the pain, she'll be dead. She's basically committing suicide slowly🥺
Addiction is real. The addiction is stronger than her will, but please don’t insinuate that Tammy doesn’t want to lose weight, of course she does. It’s a sad situation. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. This is an old episode. Tammy is actually back in a residential rehab. She has a tracheotomy to help her breathe and is trying to do what the doctors say.

She always goes back to being that way. I try to explain stress is a killer. I am an empath and very sensitive. I don't like being around negative energy. I often told my mother that my siblings and my dad would unalive her because of the stress she would put up with from them. She died last year. She got sick and deteriorated really quickly. I blame the stress. And no it wasn't covid. She had 3 different cancers. And I fault them partially for it. I fault her mainly for thinking she had to put up with it because it was her kids and husband. People think I'm stuck up because I like being by myself. But its really that I like my peace and people tend to disturb it. Sorry that turned into a longer rant than I anticipated lol.

She’d starve if it were up to me.. only food I’d provide is wholesome nutritional food that the doc said to eat.
Chris on social media said as soon as Tammy got home, she immediately started barking commands at Amy. Before her luggage is even unpacked, she was on the phone ordering the first 4 cheeseburger meals to be delivered. All while Amy and Michael are bringing in her luggage and unpacking her stuff/rearranging her living room and bedroom areas. Since she’s bed bound now, Tammy ordered Michael to move her TV into her bedroom cause she can’t get to the living room anymore. When the ambulance came to get her for her breathing/carbon dioxide poisoning issues, EMS almost couldn’t get her through the door cause she ballooned so big. It took 22 FIREFIGHTERS to get her out, they even had to grease the front door to slide her out. Amy also said she and Michael have to take turns bathing her with a bucket and sponge now on top of all the catheter and diaper changing. Amy also said she is committed to rehab this time and can’t leave early because her patient file has Tammy listed as a clear and present danger to herself (Bakers Act). Amy said Tammy screams at the staff to bring her junk food but they refuse, thankfully.

Tammy doesn’t even understand how insane it is to gain weight that fast… and she barks at anyone who tried to tell her the truth. Watching her blame Amy immediately every time is so painful. Honestly, what would help her most is being cut off from her family, being forced to figure it out alone.
I don't think it's regular weight anymore. For such rapid substantial gains, I think it's fluid accumulation -- possible sign of heart failure starting. I also can't imagine how much waste her bowels are holding on to (but that's nothing new).
I just... This has to be early death starting, with vital organs failing to properly function anymore.
yeah… i panicked when i lost five pounds (currently 91 lbs when i should be around 125… that’s an over thirty pound difference) unfortunately i keep losing weight due to stress and minimal access to food during school. And i know that it’s my fault and if i chose not to take all of these classes i wouldn’t be so stressed, but it’s a risk i am going to take. tammy is so gd lazy and privelaged. being overweight is a privelage- it means you have enough food to have excess weight. people die of starvation, and tammy over here weighs about six of them. and then she calls the hard workers lucky.

I did the calculation last time I saw this clip and she has to be eating over 10k calories a day for this to happen. I hope she's over eating because like someone else said, it could possibly be the beginning of heart failure and that's going to greatly hinder her likelihood of weight loss surgery.

My dad is a bad alcoholic and his addiction is similar to Tammy's food addiction. It took me a long time to figure out that you can't force them to stop. Tammy has to want to get better and she's not there yet. As much as her family wants to, they can't force her to change, Tammy has to do that herself.
It depends, here in France the family can put her in hospital in a locked room against her will, then they will depreive her of food

I feel the family should begin distancing themselves from Tammy right now. Physically and emotionally. She’s not only too abusive and toxic to be around now but they love her so much that when she dies, it’s going to devastate them. And she WILL die in the next 5 years. That is a confirmation at this rate she’s going. It’s best for them to just lose the bond now.

I can agree but you must understand that when tammy dies (which WILL HAPPEN SOON due to her obesity) there is a lot of guilt that will surround it. Even if it was tammys choice to not eat better and exercise/lose the weight. its very very hard. The family members are emotionally kidnapped at this point. They'd rather do their best even though she'll die than to distance themselves and her dying (due to her own choices). the latter will just cause a lot of emotional problems. I've seen this happen sadly with drug addicts that were beyond help. the feeling of guilt of someone dying is def there if you decide to distance yourself. even if your choice didnt change much.
I feel the whole family is already doing EXACTLY that. Amy is focusing on her emidiet family, Chris is doing the same, the rest of the family isn't sticking around to take Tammys attitude either. Staying morbidly obese and dependent is how Tammy kept people around, trying to push down her issues with food.
She is terribly afraid but to stuborn to open up on her issues and fears. She is in a clinic right now I believe, so will see if she maybe finally gets her ducks in a row.
Wish I could say that distancing yourself emotionally from addicts you love makes it less painful when they die, but it doesn’t. 😔 It still hurts just as bad and you imagine what it would be like if they did turn their lives around and change. But then again towards the end it’s like they’ve died while they’re still alive. Unfortunately the pain of addiction can linger long after someone’s death.

I hate to hear Amy faulting herself because of Tammy's addiction. She has to get it in her head and heart that this is not a death sentence unless..... Amy deeply cares about her sister but with her 6 month pregnancy she wonders if she’ll have any more time to help her sister because of how long it’s been. I just wish Tammy’s family knew that there’s nothing more they could do. They fear she won’t feel supported but they’ve supported her more than most people would have. They’re an amazing family, I hope I’m lucky enough that my siblings care for me like they do for Tammy someday, but it isn’t their job and Tammy needs to learn that SHE has to lose the weight, not anyone else. When asked what she needs to be successful, all she could come up with is what her sister needs to do for her. That’s just ridiculous. She definitely needs to be in an assisted living because she clearly cannot make decisions on how to care for herself properly.

I feel so bad for Amy, trying to help someone who won't even help themselves one bit takes a big toll on you, and she has enough on her shoulder as is, I hope she has good support, and Tammy, however angry and upsets she feels at herself and everyone and everything around her, she really needs to start appreciating her sister who literally bends over backwards for her, at least show some respect.

Chris on social media said as soon as Tammy got home, she immediately started barking commands at Amy. Before her luggage is even unpacked, she was on the phone ordering the first 4 cheeseburger meals to be delivered. All while Amy and Michael are bringing in her luggage and unpacking her stuff/rearranging her living room and bedroom areas. Since she’s bed bound now, Tammy ordered Michael to move her TV into her bedroom cause she can’t get to the living room anymore. When the ambulance came to get her for her breathing/carbon dioxide poisoning issues, EMS almost couldn’t get her through the door cause she ballooned so big. It took 22 FIREFIGHTERS to get her out, they even had to grease the front door to slide her out. Amy also said she and Michael have to take turns bathing her with a bucket and sponge now on top of all the catheter and diaper changing. Amy also said she is committed to rehab this time and can’t leave early because her patient file has Tammy listed as a clear and present danger to herself (Bakers Act). Amy said Tammy screams at the staff to bring her junk food but they refuse, thankfully.

I started out watching this giggling.. I'll be honest, Amy is a inspiration. She's a Great Mum to Her Child & Sister.. I HATE seeing Tammy moan and whine about sitting eating and demanding that others do EVERYTHING for Her!.
The sad thing is that this video is over a year old. Baby Gage is 11 months or more, and Amy is pregnant again. Her and Michael have moved, Chris has had his surgery, and they're all moving on with their lives but Tammy is stuck. She's still making bad choices, and her family, despite wanting to help her, need to give up.
Loving an addict is hard. Being an addict is hard. I feel for all of them in this situation, but Tammy has proven time and time again that she isn't going to change. Eventually, they're gonna need to throw in the towel.

I can’t imagine the pain of seeing a loved one do this to themselves and having tried everything to help them. At the same time they need to realize she’s her own person and can’t continue to help when she won’t help herself.
Amy is so sweet. It's so sad she actually has to consider that she may have to burry her sister one day if she doesn't change. Tammy needs to act her age and change her ways so she can live and long and healthy life with the rest of her siblings and to watch her nephew grow up. I wish them both the best.
I've been overweight all of my 20's and most of my 30's. At 37 I started really implementing changes. Small changes. Very gradual. Over a 5 year period; I'm 42 right now, I went from 250 to 170. I know Its hard. I KNOW! Tammy NEEDS mental health counseling, and to fix what's inside before she can even make a successful attempt to fix what is outside.

Before my grandpa died, he was in a similar situation as Tammy's: morbidly obese, toxic toward his family, disregarded his health, ate whatever he wanted. Even my mom described it as him "eating himself to death." Unless something changes now, Tammy's going to end up the same way.

And has posted to her Instagram and other social media that she hasn't gained it lost weight and is able to keep her weight at a certain number but I believe Amy plans on losing more weight after baby number 2 is here. :)

Tammy is 34 years old, no one is responsible for her. She's been getting a lot more help than she deserves, and if she can't do it with all the help she's already getting, she'll never do it. As an adult you're supposed to help yourself or seek help, but Tammy ain't doing either, instead she pushes everyone that's helping her away. Like why be so rude about everything? Those Shirts Amy and Michael had were a bit cheesy, but can't you be happy for them just once? I think jealousy is a big problem, she hates that everyone is doing better than her

Amy is sooo kind hearted and f---king hilarious! My sister's hurt me so badly that I divorced them ( they don't even catch on 😳) and cut off all contact with them. Anyhow I'd love to have Amy for a sister or Tammy or Misty. It's about the way they love each other don't act better than and their ride or die commitment to their siblings that gets me. They really stick together and that I admire. Also can't neglect to mention Chris. What an incredible kind funny loving brother. Looking back on this now after Chris has had weight loss surgery you can really see how far he came. He put in the effort, did what he was supposed to do, and lost the weight. He never lost motivation and he wasn’t just “lucky.” He put it so much effort to get to where he is, it’s not luck

My brother got up to 500lbs, and died in his sleep of congestive heart failure.

I read that she is officially a "ward of the state" and has been placed in a long term facility i.e. nursing home. There is no need for her being in a assisted living facility because there you have to "assist" in your care.... She is slowly killing her self, now she has a tracheotomy because she has to learn how to breathe through that to help her lungs....its just a matter of time before she dies from her own doing, just pray she doesn't experience a different kind of suffering where its a long suffering.
@@karinhenry1451 as a CNA whose worked at an assisted and hospice facility, youre so right. Tammy is NOT in a position for assisted living. She's not independent enough at ALL.
I can see her in a hospice situation, though. Turned and changed every 4 hours, like someone who is brain dead. She wouldn't even be able to go from bed to wheelchair, because who could lift her? Even lifting machines have weight limits!!! The hoyer we used was 450 lbs or less!
In the hospice facility I worked, we would put the TV on and point it towards the bed for patients like this. I used to bring them little snacks like a cup of applesauce with sprinkles, or I'd warm up a chocolate ensure and call it "hot chocolate" because at that point, every drop of joy is precious. None of the patients I cared for lived longer than 5 months once bed-to-chair was taken off their care chart. Tammy doesn't realize how close she'll be to dying once she stops being able to get herself outta bed. Its truly the end for most.
She showed that when she w anted Amy to not get surgery and wait for Tammy to do it. Selfish. This is older ep but the show is too much around Tammy I don't care, she ruins every happy moment Amy has. They too tho need to stop pushing her on her chair, wheel herself or stay home, enough. No consequences to her they bring her places break their back to do it and she ruins it and never any man ers or a thank you. Enough of her they need to get healthy themselves and Amy/Mike need to be healthy to look after their kids which they can't if he's in traction pushing her 700 lb negative ass around. He needs to be able to keep his job and Amy have the bby
@@extrules yea she def is in that setting and a nice staff member is brushing & doing her hair, she has braids pigtails n stuff. I feel for the staff. Tammy basically lays around in a big bed al day making tik tok vids. She did same on their vacation took a fit so she could go to hotel and sit and make stupid faces on repeat to tik tok. I can't imagine the amount of money daily its costing to keep her. She outright said too that she don't give a f k bout her health. So hopefully the fam looks after themselves and staff doesn't break anything giving her care.

It really cant. Not only does she have a long list of health problems that are getting worse, she also would already be dead if not for the intervention of others. If left to her own devices she wouldve been unable to go anywhere or do anything to care for herself. When she got sick and went on life support she wouldve died at home if not for her family.

@@IrishAmericanGenXer I know it can't in the long term, but its mental how it can adapt to survive carrying the amount of weight it has for such a significant amount of time. So it is sustaining. Her organs will give out eventually but just seeing how big she is and the fact she is still breathing really does show how amazing the human body is
