Now take into account that FitBit is moving more and more stuff into a paid subscription plan. Pretty soon it won't do much without having to pay them every month. I don't play that game. Won't ever buy a FitBit product as long as they keep that up no matter how good it is.
That's part of my mentality as well, that FitBit wants to dig into your wallet even more. The unfortunate reality which the reviewer didn't cover is that FitBit's are notoriously unreliable, and it seems that over the last few years, the reliability of FitBit trackers has really been in a decline. The other question that people should be asking themselves is do they feel confident spending 3X more money on a device that most likely won't last as long as a Xiaomi Mi Band? That and throwing even more money away on a paid subscription service with FitBit as well? I know I won't buy another FitBit again, and the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 which I bought 3 years ago still works fine, and it's done a good job so I am looking to upgrade to the Mi Band 7 shortly.

Nobody seems to be mentioning that the Mi Band has way more apps that are actually useful, like weather, music, pomodoro timer, flashlight, camera remote. Also, all the Fitbit clock faces are plain ugly. My vote is 100% for the Mi band. Fitbit can do a favour for seemingly not improving their product.

sorry just gonna say, that the mi band 7 is closer with calories, people really overestimate how many calories they burn. You only burn a few with a workout, and most calories get burned for the basic function of your body.

Mi Band 7, like almost every Xiaomi device is waste of money, even if it is only 50 dolars. Simply not worth. Huawei is way more better solution for band/watch if you want something cheaper.
If I could give Fitbi zero stars, I would! If you have an Android phone with Android 13, don't bother. Your Fitbit is useless. Fitbit is good for track sleep and over counting steps, the band 7 does everything decently, but has a really good step counter.
Mi band 7 at €50 and charge 5 at €150. Mi band doesn’t need subscription and charge 5 you pay monthly. The choice is obvious in my oppinion.
