Thank you for your thorough, easy to follow and understand review of the Inspire 3. Sadly, my Inspire 2 attachment for one side of the band just broke after less than two years so your review has helped convince me to stay with the Inspire line. It, too, like the slim line factor of the Inspire.

just purchased the inspire 3 after long time clinging on to my charge 2, and im also pleasantly surprised what the little thing can do! i do think the menu is a bit of a jungle, im used to setting everything in the app, instead of the device, but that is just a matter of practice ;). glad to see that the readings are precise, i was wondering how it would preform. Thanks for the great review, makes me even happier i chose this one!

Thank you for this video! Still really helpful and informative in 2024 when the Charge 5 and Inspire 3 are competitively priced. I've noticed many stores putting the Charge 5 on sale to make room for the Charge 6, and for someone who doesn't need a lot of extra features, your review was really helpful in making my decision. Thanks!! =)

Thanks for this, your videos are excellent, particularly for me since I also have sleep apnea (mild/positional). I had the Garmin Vivosmart 4 for a few years, largely on the basis of another review of yours, and was quite happy with it. I don't interact with my device except as a watch but do deep dives into the data on my phone. Eventually though, three things bothered me with the Garmin; the sleep tracking logged reading in bed as light sleep, didn't log naps, and the VO₂ Max sensor seemed reactive more to walking than biking or gym aero/anerobics. This video, a few months ago tipped me into pulling the trigger on the Inspire 3, which did everything, including those three things the Garmin didn't. I like the Garmin app better than Fitbit and loved the granular data depth but overall was happy with the Inspire 3...until I did an MRI last week while wearing the Inspire 3, which was totally wiped/morphed into a floppy paperweight. I'll probably buy another Inspire 3 but before I do I wanted to ask if anything else within the same rough parameters has caught your attention - what do you think about the Fitbit Luxe?

I bought an Inspire 3 today because of this review, as my Charge 5 may seem good and more functional, but there is a problem with the magnetic charging cable, which stopped charging after 10 months and Charge 5 died, even after replacing the cable.

Most excellent video .. appreciate the detail and effort you have gone through, very tidy indeed. I have Versa 2 but a couple of months ago the display fell off!! I glued it back and while it is no longer water resistant it does still work. A week or so ago Fitbit released a software update for it .. now the heart rate tracking during a simple walk is about 20-30% higher than it should be (compared with previous Versa 2 walks and my Apple Watch SE and Garmin FR). So not too happy. Been considering the Inspire 3 because of the size, it's health metrics, ease of use and the app.
General point you made about the app I really agree with: don't just look at a device but consider the app and so the whole user experience.
Have you performed / will you perform a heart rate tracking comparison between the Inspire 3 and another device, even in a very informal / personal test? I think you have a Garmin, or Garmin type watch there in your vid?
Anyways, thanks for a seriously good video.

Really great review thanks! Super in depth and helpful. ...just one thing... No name like Xiaomi? They literally sell more phones than Apple. It is now the second largest smart phone maker behind Samsung. They also sell appliances like refrigerators, electric scooters and bikes, TV's etc. Xiaomi just isn't big in the States. My family members' houses and apartments in China are full of Xiaomi products. I do agree that they don't try hard when creating their fitness bands and smart watches though. Also, they are definitely missing out on creating an ecosystem to connect their smart watches to all their smart devices. It would be nice to start my coffee from my bed by tapping on my watch or raise the garage door, but I guess they assume we'll use the phone for that.
edit ps: I think this video helped me to decide on the Inspire 3. Simple, but does enough for an unobtrusive fit band.

Mine has lasted almost two weeks on its 2nd full charge! Im on track for the battery to run out on the 13th day. I turn aod off, and all notifications off. The fact that it's so light means I can put it on my wrist after a shower and not have to pay any mind to it all day. I use my phone to look at all the health stats. Only con is my find my phone feature doesn't work. Also my dark green silicone band has already started to look worn but I will likely replace it with a leather band soon.

Problem with Fitbit is that its quality is lacking. I own a Charge 5 and it crapped on me now twice in 4 months. Living in the Philippines means the replacement turnaround is long. So I am not impressed. Any decent compensation for lost time on the Premium is not offered. I would stay away from Fitbit.

I watched several of your reviews, including the one recorded a couple of years ago when Fitbit added relative O2 readings to its functionality. At that time, you said that the relative curve was not much more than noise for you - you know that you have sleep apnea, and yet the relative blood oxygen variation chart did not look any worse than that of a person not diagnosed with sleep apnea. This time, you show the graph which looks exactly the same, shows no abnormalities, and yet you do not highlight any issues. What has changed your opinion about the ability of FitBit to be useful for detecting any abnormalities? Why are you so positive now, even though the curve looks exactly the same as in the video in which you said it was totally useless?

I bought the Xiaomi band 7 and its superior it has the weather, way more options they both do certain things better but I bought a tracker to track what I do and fitbit has let me down and its a problem with the built in gps antenna screwing everything up so no software will fix it and they wont do anything about it.

did you said that "hart rate tracking" is extremely accurate bcs it shows higher BPM on skateboard than on electric bike? This is accuracy?

An electric bike that you don't really pedal? Yeah obviously a skateboard would be higher

Whilst I acknowledge the quality of your video and the detailed walkaround of the device, I kind of felt like Fitbit sponsored you over "Chinese" brands like Xiaomi MiBand or AmazFit. If it is a sponsored video could you please tag it as *sponsored for transparency? Thanks!

No sponsorship at all. I wish, that would be amazing
