Muajannat, or savory pies, are a staple at Palestinian family gatherings. Spinach pies are one of the classics. Here's how I make mine, with lots of spinach and garlic. They are perfect for an appetizer, a quick and easy snack, or to bring with you to picnics and on the go. Wholesome, filling, nutritious and delicious - these are very special. Let me know if you make these, I hope your enjoy and I hope you too are inspired to make these!

Love your channel. When I was a kid, we had a Palestinian nanny. She would make these a lot for us and add in Feta. I remember being so incredible happy to see them waiting on me when I got off the school bus. I've never actually made them myself which is strange, I guess. But I am defiantly going to now and it'll be really special because I have children of my own now so I can share a special part of my childhood with them.

Okay, watching your videos makes me really emotional. My family is Syrian-Armenian, and we're losing a lot of the older folks who can share stories and recipes. I moved halfway across the country a couple years ago, so I can't even see my family (plus, ya know, pandemic) or taste any of this food unless I make it myself. Your channel is full of flavors and foods that are so familiar to me, and you make these recipes so accessible. I can't say thank you enough. 🇵🇸🇦🇲🇸🇾 Also...we put lemon in our spinach pies! Was so excited to hear you say it at the end 😂

Nice organic sunflower oils now, thanks for being anti-canola..I don’t know why anyone likes that! Toasted pine nuts in there? I think my Lebanese neighbors gave me some of these and they had pine nuts in there. Easy to burn..whenever toasting pine nuts, put a heavy glass bowl in the freezer (or fridge if it’s delicate) and chill well, when you have the pine nuts toasted, throw them in the frozen or well chilled bowl and stir to stop their cooking..they have a lot of oil that makes them continue cooking off heat unless you take steps to stop them from over browning..an egg wash before baking would make these look a lot prettier..just my opinion..

Hello, we are tvN Korea team.
Now we're producing a broadcast about history all over the world.
We're making a TV program called Naked World History.
"Naked World History" is a program that tours the world in person, examines attractions in each country, and explores the history of the world from various perspectives that we did not know.
I contacted you because I wanted to use your video.
I am waiting for your reply.
    Thank you.

Just made these last night! I used whole wheat flour in place of the all purpose flour and they came out great! I didn't have enough spinach though so I was only able to make 4... 1 bag was not enough lol buying 3 bags next time!
