- Who doesn't like pizza!!! Too bad we're not making it today, lol, we're making something better!! #pizza #german #French #onions #bacon #carmelizedonions #easy #dough #crust #simple #airfryer #noyeast #tinyhome
Ingredients for the dough
Mix together in a bowl then cover and set aside
2 cups flour (450g)
1/2 tsp salt (2.5g)
1/2 cup water (4oz)
2 tbsp olive oil (30ml)
Ingredients for the sauce
Mix together
1 cup creme fraiche (8oz) you can substitute sour cream
1/4 tsp Nutmeg (.75g)
1/2 tsp pepper (2.5g)
Remaining Ingredients
Bacon, chopped
Onion, thin sliced
Cook the bacon in a skillet until almost done. Essentially render out the fat
Remove the bacon but leave the grease
Add the onions to the skillet and cook until softened but not quite carmelized
Sprinkle flour on your counter and knead the dough until smooth
Roll out the dough to about the thickness of a cracker
Cover with your spread, almost to the edges
Top with the bacon and onions
Air fry 400°F/200°C for 20 minutes
Enjoy!!!

Very cool and interesting recipe. You can swap out the creme fraiche with a sweet pizza sauce and get some provel cheese and you have St. Louis pizza. I will have to try this for sure. Great job.
